On Monday morning’s “Bill Bennett’s Morning in America” radio show, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) claimed that the U.S. “is beginning to succeed” in Iraq and said that “there are neighborhoods in Baghdad where you and I could walk through…today.”
“The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is maneuvering to fundamentally weaken the Endangered Species Act. … The proposed changes limit the number of species that can be protected,” curtail preserved acres of wildlife habitat, and “dilute legal barriers that protect habitat from sprawl, logging or mining.”
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) yesterday “dismissed” any comparison between the Bush administration’s prosecutor purge with the replacement of 93 U.S. attorneys when her husband took office in 1993. “That’s a traditional prerogative of an incoming president,” she said, adding that this purge “is part of a long record of trying to upset the traditional separation of powers.”
The U.S. Navy on Tuesday “began its largest demonstration of force in the Persian Gulf since the 2003 invasion of Iraq, led by a pair of aircraft carriers and backed by warplanes flying simulated attack maneuvers off the coast of Iran. The maneuvers bring together two strike groups of U.S. warships and more than 100 U.S. warplanes to conduct simulated air warfare in the crowded Gulf shipping lanes.”
59 percent: Americans who want their congressional representatives to support a withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq by August 2008. Only 33 percent are opposed. 36 percent believe escalation will work.
“By the end of the century up to two fifths of the land surface of the Earth will have a hotter climate unlike anything that currently exists,” according to a new study. “And in the worst case scenario, the climatic conditions on another 48% of the land surface will no longer exist on the planet at all.”
“Unfamiliar with the U.S. mortgage market, unable to speak or read English well and vulnerable to the blandishments of real estate professionals who told them property values always rise, many immigrants are struggling to deal with high mortgage payments as their homes sag in value, making it harder to escape the loans by selling.”
And finally: Is Washington, D.C. no longer the “Hollywood for ugly people“? Over the past several years, D.C. has become “increasingly attractive” to production companies and television executives, with movies such as “The Good Shepherd” and shows like “Commander in Chief.” “The more we have women in positions of leadership, the more style we’ll have,” said Miss District of Columbia Kate Michael.
What did we miss? Let us know in the comments section.

Unfortunately there are just enough active voters in the 30% dead end group to keep reelecting people such as Mitchell, Inhofe, and such like.

March 27th, 2007 at 9:37 amDenns Kucinich on Congress passing the Iraq Spending Bill
Mar 23, 2007
First of all, the Democrats were too quick to compromise. For the president to call it political theater shows the contempt he has for Congress. And Congress has a responsibility to challenge this administration’s conduct of the war; they didn’t do it. They gave the president a license to continue to prosecute the war, and the president said, look, I’m not going along with any restrictions you want to put on me. He doesn’t intend to. He intends to keep this war going.
…What about what the American people think? Isn’t this supposed to be representative government? Do you think that support for the war has really grown? Not by a long shot has it grown. What’s happened is that support for the war is being tolerated inside the Congress. This is upside down. If the Democrats had told the American people in October 2006, “Vote Democrat, we’ll keep the war going till the end of Bush’s term; vote Democrat, we’ll privatize Iraq’s oil; vote Democrat, we’ll give the president enough money to attack Iran if he so chooses,†the American people would have never voted Democrat.
But guess what, they did vote Democrat, and the Democrats have turned around and handed the president a license to keep that war going, and that’s not even enough for him. Because he doesn’t want any restrictions placed on him, and the fact of the matter is even if they put restrictions on him he wouldn’t follow them anyhow.Â

When it comes to having insights about our military, I would suspect that the current Generals in Russia have plenty of experience in judging what we may/may not do. Don’t forget the cold war and the way the Russians successfully kept us scared of them by accurately reading our feelings about them! They’ve got decades of experience watching the US and reading our intentions. Just as we have decades of experience waching the Russians and reading their intentions.

March 27th, 2007 at 9:46 amMenu Foods Corporation Poisons Our Pets
Tuesday 27th of March 2007
by Jay Randal
It’s bad enough the Bush Regime allows corporations to sell tainted contaminated vegetables to US citizens, but now poisoned pet food was allowed to be sold all over the United States by the Menu Foods Company.
Menu Foods spokesmen try to claim they had no idea that rat poison contaminated all their brands of dog and cat food, but it’s obvious the Bush Regime’s FDA did ZERO testing of the products to determine safety.
The pet food manufacturer has issued a urgent recall of their products, sold under numerous brand names, but unknown number of dogs and cats have already consumed the contaminated food and could die later.
The CEO of Menu Foods must be charged with utter criminal negligence for selling poisoned pet food that was never tested for safety, before being sold to every chain store in America, so Public demands his head.
Contact Reps & Senators in DC to punish Menu Foods Company now!

There never HAS been a requirement that the FDA test pet food prior to marketing.

March 27th, 2007 at 10:10 amCan Ms. Goodling assert her 5th amendment right against self-incrimination and refuse to testify about her role, and the role of others at the White House and at the Department of Justice, regarding the US Attorney firings?
First, it doesn’t allow you to refuse to testify about matters which involve the commission of possible crimes by others. Put another way, to the extent you are being asked questions regarding the actions of others, and not about your own actions, your 5th Amendment privilege to refuse to testify does not apply.
The one exception to this rule is where your testimony about another person would also invariably incriminate yourself, as well. For example, consider a criminal conspiracy where the actions of each participant in the conspiracy are imputed to the other conspirators. In that case, one could arguably assert the right against self-incrimination with respect to testimony about any of the other alleged conspirators, particularly if that testimony would allow the government to identify you as a member of the conspiracy.

March 27th, 2007 at 10:20 amRe: Spies and Intelligence
We know exactly as much about Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, and a host of other places, as we would if there were no spies. There are two reasons for this: First is that no one can keep a secret. Second, The spy game is a buracracy like any other - it’s inefficient and politicized.
Here’s the “intelligence” I have gathered regarding the State of the Nations (or some of them):
1. The U.S. occupies Iraq and threatens Iran to maintain political instability in the ME. The underlying motives are oil and global economic dominance.
2. The right wing government of the U.S. has used the Southern member states (socially conservative with strong theocratic tendencies) to advance right wing policies and roll-back traditional American rights. The current government has also shown an aggressive and self-centered militarism that has severly damaged America’s international standing. This core constituency is waning and a reemergence of of the left (as evident by the burgeoning numbers at the center and left of center) is beginning to take political control.
3. Vladimir Putin of Russia - a former KGB agent - has managed to derail that nation’s move towards democracy, and has replaced the Gorbachev/Yeltsin model of government with one more traditional (authoritarian, dictatorial, and facist) to that country. Geopolitically, the Putin government appears to be trying to reestablish dominance and control over its former USSR satellites via economic/resource manipulation or outright war. Russia would attack and kill us if it could.
4. Saudi Arabia: A Whabbist Islamic State that controls the majority of the world’s oil industry - giving this small recently-emerged nation an unprecedented amount of leverage and power on the global stage. Ruled by the house of Saud - and the only nation on earth named after a family - Saudi nationals, as Whabbists, believe in the conversion Islam or annihlation of the world’s peoples. While not a military power, the underlying tenet of the nation’s philosophy and it’s unprecedented wealth has resulted in the development of a terrorist mindset among its most conservative members. In the attacks on the Unites States on 9-11, this bent towards terrorism was exposed to the world. However, the relationship between Saudi Arabia and the U. S. have been maintained without interruption due to the economic/energy dependence of the latter on the former, as well as direct personal ties of the ruling elite of each country.
Anyone care to show me an intelligence success story? (please don’t respond that we never hear about the successes - see paragraph 1, above)
Why do we need a spying class?

March 27th, 2007 at 10:37 amCanadian > FDA is required to test all food products for safety. Old people have been known to eat pet food products, so not just your dog’s health is at stake, plus Bush has defunded the FDA tests on regular food. Reason why the tainted spinach and other stuff occurred.
I am not a troll, but I could care less if you treat me like one. I have posted on TP for over a year almost, so ask the regulars. I follow one rule on TP: Do not attack those who dislike Bush Regime on here! If you defend Bush or his paid trolls on here, then you are a troll too.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:37 amSo, uh, where’s the indignant condemnation of Jay in #38 from this group? In the Elizabeth Edwards threads, if anybody suggested that they were happy for what’s happening with Mrs. Edwards’, they got jumped on immediately (as well they should). So where’s the outrage against #38 and #53??? (I’ve seen one post so far… thanks Not Canadian)
You people should be ashamed of yourselves.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:38 am#68 Tablo…I have corrected my original post twice now. This is third time. Sorry to upset you if you’re a friend/family/admirer of Tony Blair.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:39 am4 of the Menu Foods manufacturing plants are located INSIDE the United States and most of the products sold here were packaged in a US plant.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:39 am“The FDA is required to test the wheat entering this country, which is what contained the poison……
Yes, too bad the wheat never entered the US UNTIL it was already in the dog food.
Menu Foods is a CANADIAN manufacturer!!!!! Obviously, you are slow to understand, let alone be up to date on current events.
Comment by Not Canadian — March 27, 2007 @ 10:29 am”
Oh…. I’m up on current events, its just that I don’t spend my time tracking down every little detail in a report unless I find it absolutely necessary. This report is NOT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.
If the food is in fact manufactured in Canada, then we need to STOP buying food from them until they put proper safegaurds in place, and they make retribution for the deaths…
Now crawl back under your rock….. Shew…. Shew…..
March 27th, 2007 at 10:39 amThe poison involved in the Menu Foods pet food is one that is not on the routine test list. It took the scientists at Cornell a few weeks to detect what it was and they had a list of symtoms. The substance involved is banned in most first and second world countries.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:40 amDale > you are a sick Bush lover, so nobody cares what you think on here. I mentioned Tony Blair, not Tony Snow, because Larry said he had cancer.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:43 amJay, I’ve been posting here for about a year too. (Had to change screen names several times due to my rants about Israel and the Jewish agenda here at TP.)
Making sweeping statements about current events without links makes your posts meaningless.
I’m not attacking those who dislike Bush, I’m just trying to make sure TPers make sense, use facts for discourse, and leave the crying and whining to the trolls.
p.s. I’ve never defended Bush here or anywhere, so try as you might to paint me with your monochrome brush, it wont stick.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:46 am“You people should be ashamed of yourselves.
Comment by Dale — March 27, 2007 @ 10:38 am”
Coming from a person who cheers the deaths of our soldiers and 650,000 Iraqi citizens……..
I think you need to look in the mirror there bozo….
March 27th, 2007 at 10:47 amWalt > testing for rat poison in pet food should be an important test. Nobody knows how many dogs and cats have ingested the tainted food? Nobody knows the long term damage from ingesting the stuff?
March 27th, 2007 at 10:47 amRemoveBush,
It’s spelled “shoo” as in “shoo-fly”.
If you don’t read THE ENTIRE article which you come here to rant about, then you’re an idiot, plain and simple.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:48 amYou people should be ashamed of yourselves.
Comment by Dale
Thank the Lord I happened to be here on TP today to see these words that really changed my life, pronounced by a person who supports preemptive wars and the destruction of tiny, little country which was THREAT to the space-time fabric.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:51 amNot Canadian > nobody has made you the room monitor on here. Supplying links means nothing, since many of them are bogus. If you dislike Bush Regime, then spend time attacking those who defend Bush. I have always posted as Jay Randal on here and never use other screen names to shield or hide my identity.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:55 am#79, whether it was Tony Blair or Tony Snow is immaterial. Your comment
is pitiful… even the people at DU aren’t posting crap like this.
#84, forgive me, I’m sure that you and others here occupy the moral high ground.
The issue isn’t Bush, the Iraqi war, or anything else. If you won’t put the posters down for being happy about Tony Snow’s cancer, then you have no moral right to put anybody down for being happy about Mrs. Edwards cancer, or anybody elses. Cancer isn’t something to be happy about, EVER. I watched my father go through it, and I watched my mother-in-law go through it. You’re pitiful.
March 27th, 2007 at 10:58 am#74 Dale,
March 27th, 2007 at 11:01 amOh my, oh my! I am so ashamed of myself… NOT. We know Jay’s level of integrity. I certainly not going to allow some troll with none to tell me what I have to do. Get a life and leave your control issues at home. By the way, still don’t feel guilty or bad, it must rub you.
Cancer isn’t something to be happy about, EVER.
Comment by Dale
Just like cluster bombs, hypocrite.
March 27th, 2007 at 11:01 amThe commander in charge of the war games in the gulf said they are the stabilizing force in the region and any destabilization would be due to Iran. What a load of sh&t. Bombing the crap out of a country is stabilizing? Yeah, just like we “stabilized” Iraq.
March 27th, 2007 at 11:02 amJay,
March 27th, 2007 at 11:02 amThe poison involved was aminopteri, a derivative of folic acid that is not used in the US or Canada. It is not on any test list for even human consumables. For info on the situation look here.
Dale > I could care less what you say on here. You are a paid Bush lover > so end of story!
March 27th, 2007 at 11:02 amIf you won’t put the posters down for being happy about Tony Snow’s cancer, then you have no moral right to put anybody down for being happy about Mrs. Edwards cancer, or anybody elses.

One of the posters you cited #53 never said they were “happy” he got cancer. They said they weren’t sad for him.

Hey A$$whipe!!!! Since your such a rocket sceintist…… Please show me where in the topics list this is!!! Since YOU have a reading comprehension….
Now dip$hit….. Show me where this is in the topics……
NOPE, NOT IN HERE!
On Monday morning’s “Bill Bennett’s Morning in America†radio show, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) claimed that the U.S. “is beginning to succeed†in Iraq and said that “there are neighborhoods in Baghdad where you and I could through…today.â€
OR HERE!
“The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is maneuvering to fundamentally weaken the Endangered Species Act. … The proposed changes limit the number of species that can be protected,†curtail preserved acres of wildlife habitat, and “dilutes legal barriers that protect habitat from sprawl, logging or mining.â€
NOT HERE EITHER!
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) yesterday “dismissed†any comparison between the Bush administration’s prosecutor purge with the replacement of 93 U.S. attorneys when her husband took office in 1993. “That’s a traditional prerogative of an incoming president,†she said, adding that this purge “is part of a long record of trying to upset the traditional separation of powers.â€
MY GOD, IT’S NOT HERE!
The U.S. Navy on Tuesday “began its largest demonstration of force in the Persian Gulf since the 2003 invasion of Iraq, led by a pair of aircraft carriers and backed by warplanes flying simulated attack maneuvers off the coast of Iran. The maneuvers bring together two strike groups of U.S. warships and more than 100 U.S. warplanes to conduct simulated air warfare in the crowded Gulf shipping lanes.â€
WHAT AM I TO DO, IT’S NOT HERE EITHER!
59 percent: Americans who want their congressional representatives to support a withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq by August 2008. Only 33 percent are opposed. 36 percent believe escalation will work.
DAMN…. NOT HERE!
“By the end of the century up to two fifths of the land surface of the Earth will have a hotter climate unlike anything that currently exists,†according to a new study. “And in the worst case scenario, the climatic conditions on another 48% of the land surface will no longer exist on the planet at all.â€

WOW….. I’TS NOT HERE EITHER!
March 27th, 2007 at 11:05 amAnd finally: Is Washington, D.C. no longer the “Hollywood for ugly people“? Over the past several years, D.C. has become “increasingly attractive†to production companies and television executives, with movies such as “The Good Shepherd†and shows like “Commander in Chief.†“The more we have women in positions of leadership, the more style we’ll have,†said Miss District of Columbia Kate Michael.

March 27th, 2007 at 11:06 amIf you are a regular TPer, why all the venon to your fellow posters? Just seems a little nit-picky and vile. Show some love, my man ;-)
Folks, there’s an entire thread dedicated to Tony Snow’s cancer. Can we move the cancer discussion over there?
March 27th, 2007 at 11:07 am#92… oh, yeah, there’s a BIG difference.
Bluedahlia and Juan C… so the criteria you use is whether or not someone supports the Iraqi War? If they do, then you’re happy (or at least, “not sad”) if anything bad happens to them… correct?
March 27th, 2007 at 11:07 amJay Randal,
Single-mindedness is your forte, I see. People like you are the main reason I stay away for weeks at a time. And eschewing links because many are bogus is about as immature a comment I’ve read from an adult here.
This site is SUPPOSED to promote the Progressive agenda by allowing us to discuss and hopefully find common ground among our differences. Being a callous, consitent “hater” casts your so-called “integrity” in a dim light.

March 27th, 2007 at 11:14 amAnd why should we? I feel more compassion for the animals that died from the pet food poison. Why? They are true innocents. And while all life should be honored, I do not feel obligated to feel anything for a man who has so dishonored himself to the public he is supposed to serve. I do not wish ill upon him, but neither do I really feel sad for him. I am not a sub standard human being for not doing so either. That is just for control freaks and guilt worshipers to lord over.
Not Canadian > tell us who your other screen names were on here? Using numerous screen names on here is troll behavior. I do NOT care what you think about me or my posts, so go bother someone else. And believe it or not many links post to bogus sites. Walt just posted a link to a New York Time’s article which is legitimate news.

Yes Dale it is a big difference. I know Cons like yourself like to take people’s statements, twist them a little to change their meaning and then attack the person but it doesn’t help in proving a point. Being happy about something and not having empathy for something are big differences. Before going on rants please check yourself. It makes you look foolish.

At the top of each TP thread it says “Comment.” The threads are about posting our opinions about different news items. It does NOT say post only verifiable comments with links. Trolls tend to use the threads for smears and attacks on other posters.

I am not saying that anyone has to feel happy, sad, or indifferent to what Tony Snow is going through. All I was pointing out was Dale’s comments that the people he accused of being happy about it were flat false.
March 27th, 2007 at 11:28 amBlued,
Actually, two kids. And I’m a stay at home, part-time professional musician. Yes, raising children requires patience and understanding, something most hot-head liberals find they can do without.

March 27th, 2007 at 11:33 amJay,
March 27th, 2007 at 11:33 amYou are most welcome.
#110,
Let me state this so you will understand. I don’t know most of the people on this planet. I do not feel compelled to “feel” for everything they are going through. I generally have no opinion whatsoever about them. Why would I? Generally, if I hear something bad that happens, I feel glad that it didn’t happen to someone I care about. I generally wish that something like that didn’t have to happen to people (or animals).
Tony Snow is a public figure. I hear what he has done and said, and continues to do and say. I have an opinion about him. Most people do.
Your black and white thinking hinders your ability to see the complexity of situations and people. Not all people want to follow that way of thinking.
March 27th, 2007 at 11:35 am#110
March 27th, 2007 at 11:37 amAnd while you are not calling me sub standard you are still judging me. Which, by the way, doesn’t bother me because I do not value your opinion.
#13 dlet,
March 27th, 2007 at 11:38 amOh, I know.
Sorry, I guess I wanted to add to your thought, not contradict it. Sorry I gave that impression. :)

In fact, not only have you never condemned the insurgents, you have defended them as merely engaging in “self-defense.”

Bombers in Iraq kill 2 children used as decoys
By KIM GAMEL
New York Times
BAGHDAD — “Police said today that children were used in a weekend car bombing in which the driver gained permission to park in a busy shopping area after he pointed out that he was leaving his children in the back seat.
The account appeared to confirm one given Tuesday by a U.S. general. He said children were used in a Sunday bombing in northern Baghdad and labeled it a brutal new tactic put to use by insurgents to battle a five-week-old security crackdown in the capital.
Maj. Gen. Michael Barbero, deputy director for regional operations on the Joint Staff, said the vehicle used in the attack was waved through a U.S. military checkpoint because two children were visible in the back seat. He said it was the first reported use of children in a car bombing in Baghdad.
“Children in the back seat lowered suspicion, (so) we let it move through, they parked the vehicle, the adults run out and detonate it with the children in the back,” Barbero told reporters in Washington. “The brutality and ruthless nature of this enemy hasn’t changed.”
Other U.S. officials said later that three Iraqi bystanders were killed in the attack near a marketplace in the northern Baghdad neighborhood of Azamiyah, besides the two children, and seven people were injured. The officials had no other details, including the estimated ages of the children.”
And yet not one word of condemnation of this despicable act by the “insurgents” from Juan C.

Juan,
March 27th, 2007 at 12:13 pmFrom this point on you are required to write an essay lamenting each death that occurs worldwide. List out why you think it was horrible and what you think of the people/animal/disease that did the killing. Please have all reports in by 9:30 p.m. Do not submit any after that. Exley needs his sleep.
thanks exley - for demonstrating that desperate people do desperate things - i’m pretty sure no one knew that, and it really changes the face of the discussion about whether we can all go to baghdad and enjoy a jamba juice with the politically craven Senator from AZ.

Heh.
Yes, I was going to answer that post, but you know, whats the point when someone has already made his mind up?
March 27th, 2007 at 12:21 pmDlet,
Actually, if you read Juan’s posting #128 (”I havent read a post of you remorsing the death of thousands of Iraqi children”), you will see that that which you attempt to parody is exactly what Juan apparently wanted Dale to do. Juan demands that others post statements lamenting the deaths of Iraqi children, and yet he has never done what he demands of others. Indeed, he defends those who deliberately kill innocent Iraqis, including children.
In short, your sarcasm missed its intended target and hit Juan instead.
Nice try, though.
March 27th, 2007 at 12:25 pmRemovedBrain,
You mean “you’re”, the contraction of “you are”, not “your”. Without the apostrophe “re”, your sentence has no verb. And you used it twice IN THE SAME SENTENCE.

But Al Gore heats his swimming pool in the winter time. Sweet.
Carpe diem, eh Al?
Al Gore excuses his own excesses by saying he is buying “carbon credits,†to offset his massive use of electric power and jet planes.
Buying “carbon credits†allows him to pollute to his heart’s content, because he’s adopted a “carbon neutral†life whereby any emissions for which he is personally responsible are allegedly offset by buying “green credits†such as parcels of forests that eat up CO2.
He doesn’t do solar, he doesn’t use wind power, he doesn’t change his lifestyle or go bio-diesel, he doesn’t do any of the things he insists the rest of us must do to save the planet from being barbecued - he just buys carbon credits and goes on his merry way spewing pollution in all directions.

NO COMPARISON BETWEEN BILL CLINTON AND CHIMPya-CHUMPya Bush’s PURGES—-THE FIRST WAS TRADITIONAL, THE ONE WE ARE FACED WITH NOW IS COMPLETELY POLITICAL, DASTARDLY repugnant-repub MACHINATIONS WHICH INCLUDE TURNING ON THE VERY APPOINTEES THEY PUT IN THE BEGINNING THEN GOT RID OF WHEN THEY STARTED TO DO THEIR JOBS CORRECTLY, i.e., PURSUING CORRUPTION AND WRONGDOING BY THE VERY ADMINISTRATION THAT PRIDED ITSELF ON ITS SO-CALLED “Uprightness” WHICH IS IN FACT MORE CROOKED THAN THE LEANING TOWER OF PISA(tm)!!!!!
ENOUGH OF THESE EMPTY DISPLAYS OF FLEXING MILITARY MUSCLE—-HOWSABOUT DOING SOMETHING USEFUL, LIKE HELPING OUT OUR ALLY Tony Blair BY TAKING PRISONER SOME Iranian Revolutionary Guards AND USING THEM FOR HOSTAGE EXCHANGE, OR IS ALL THAT SHOW AND NO ABILITY, “ALL POTATOES AND NO MEAT”???????
GET OUR TROOPS OUT OF Iraq NOW, RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE!!!!!
LIKE I SAID IN PREVIOUS POSTS, POLAR BEARS WILL BE ENJOYING A FROSTY GLASS OF COCA-COLA(tm) WHILE LOUNGING ON BEACH CHAIRS AND WEARING SUNGLASSES—-AT THE NORTH POLE!!!!! THEY WILL BE USING Inhofe, Crichton, Sensenbrenner’s FAT HEADS AS OTTOMANS TO REST THEIR PAWS UPON!!!!! HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!!!!!
Ah Yes, GOUGE THE POOR IMMIGRANTS WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH BY FAST- AND SWEET- TALKING THEM INTO PREDATORY LOAN AGREEMENTS—-THAT’S “THE AMERICAN WAY”!!!!!(sarcasm)
HOWSABOUT SHOWS LIKE “Commander-In-THIEF” and “We’re NAZI But Nice” or “SHIP(of State) OF FOOLS,” “I’VE GOT A SECRET”(tm–THAT ONE IS ALREADY BEING USED!!!!!) and “TO TELL THE TRUTH”(tm–THAT IS BEING USED ALREADY ALSO, BUT NOT BY Bushland Uber Allies LIARS and CROOKS!!!!!) MAKES “THE UGLY AMERICAN”(tm) INTO A REALITY-show, INSTEAD OF AN OXYMORON!!!!!
March 27th, 2007 at 4:08 pmI’ve put up posts much less offensive then those by Raymond Funamoto, only to have them deleted. I had some post deleted and was blocked (for seven hours (I used the ID WaltTheOldMan during that period)) for a few humorous posts this am. If the kind of patter which Raymond Funamoto posts is allowed to continue, then TP has lost its integrity.
March 27th, 2007 at 5:28 pmI’m surprised the Iraq withdrawal number is only at 59%. I guess the other 41% aren’t paying attention.

March 27th, 2007 at 8:12 pmIn short, your sarcasm missed its intended target and hit Juan instead.
Nice try, though.

Actually, it looks like it hit you square in the chest.
March 27th, 2007 at 9:48 pmNope, Zooey. As I unassailably demonstrated, dlet had posted without realizing what Juan had posted at #129. I also highlighted Juan’s hypocrisy.
Try again.
