Since when do any Reps send any letters to any US attorneys complaining about their job. I think the Justice Department and the Executive have that covered. Thanks Issa.
Evidently, a lot of repugs in congress feel they have a Bush-anointed right to skip over the law and contact judges directly on their cases.
Were these directions included on some kind of RNC memo?

It’s hard to tell which “you” you mean since there were only two posters ahead of you. However, whether you are registered as “independent” or not, your many posts here are hardly non-partisan. Methinks the troll doth protest too much.
Issa was more interested in stopping Lam from indicting Rep Jerry Lewis. Yes he was pushing her to do other things and leave the GOP alone. If the DOJ has to answer to elected officials why do they need an Attorney General. Now Issa wants all the information and who said what like he’s an investigator. He worked a plan with Jerry Lewis to stop her and that he did. Now Jerry Lewis will not be charged with the crimes he committed. No GOP will have to have an investigation again.. All that interest about immigration was a front for Jerry to get the out of jail card. Issa could careless as long as his pockets are lined. If you got enough money Issa can be brought.
Issa is an assahola! This guy clearly thinks he’s eloquent but he’s so obviously a total buffoon. Let’s see Issa’s butt on the grill now for doing something illegal. Atta boy, Issaassahola!
#15 This GOP wrote the book on corruption! You’re absolutely right in your assertion: There IS NOT an honest individual in that party at this point. Those that are have jumped the sinking, stinking ship full of rats, snakes, and rotting garbage.
#16 Ever see the epitome of pomposity who becomes the joke himself? That’s Issa! He sit up there attempting to pontificate but all he impresses is himself. I guess if you’re an egomaniac, that’s all you need. Clearly, Issa is in very hot water now. Let’s see IssaAssahola bail himself out of this one! Pop the popcorn! It’s going to be a very long night…
#14 Issa will be indicted for obstruction of justice before this is over. Clearly, a number of crooked, law-breaking Rethugs were ordered (by Rove? By Bush?) to NOT prosecute their own and instead try to gather some smut on Dems instead. After all, the Midterms hinged on it – which makes the firestorm of disgust by the voters even more impressive. Factor in some meddling by the GOP & Diebold on the actual voter fraud and it really makes an impressive statistic that the overwhelming vote of the people was against this WH and this GOP for corruption, fraud & lies.
I may be missing something, but I’m not jumping on this bandwagon.
My reading of the Raw Story article is that Rep. Issa contacted USA Lam after the matter had been settled, and was seeking information on an inactive case.
It may technically violate ethics rules, but it seems to me that a congressman ought to be able to get some information from the USA in his district on cases that have been decided or dismissed. I don’t see where in the letter as reported that he tried to influence the handling of a case.
Don’t get me wrong; Issa’s a nutjob. But with all these various juicy scandals from which to pick and choose, let’s settle on something with a bit more meat.
WASN’T Issa ONE OF THE CRIMINALS SCHEDULED TO BE INVESTIGATED by Carol Lam BEFORE SHE GOT SO WRONGLY DISMISSED—-CLOSE SHAVE FOR YA, Darrell, YA F*CKING CROOK!!!!!! DON’T WORRY, Issa, WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND, YA MISERABLE repugnant-repub rightwingnut crank fudge-pachyderm—-WE’LL GET YA IN DUE TIME!!!!!

March 28th, 2007 at 6:58 pmSo, while whining regularly about “activist judges,” the RNC has a policy of installing and pressuring their activist DA’s!
There isn’t one honest man or woman in the entire party.
