Senator McCaine seems to have lost sense of reasonableness. I feel his mind is getting old and just speaks out his mind without getting the facts. He has no chance of winning the republican ticket for president. He is ar behind in polls. In fact, for many years to come, American voters are not going to elect Republican president, as the present republian presiden Mr. Georage Bush has made a great mess and has created lot of problems for America by his stuburness and uninteligent attitude. I wholehartedly agree with Mr. Donald Trump that Georage Bush is the worst ever president of this great country and have done a very great harm to the good name of USA amoungst the intenal communities and governments.

#75, #89: Yes, I'm exactly saying that the General might be riding around in an armored and unarmed Humvee. I'm not saying that he is, I'm saying that he might be. I'm also not claiming that McCain is correct in his assessment of the the security level.

I haven't seen the General's Humvee, but I suspect that his vehicle is unarmed and the vehicles in front and behind his are armed. Why would the General want the gunner's butt or crotch in his face all the time?

Why did anyone try to disprove the "unarmed" comment by proving that it's armored? Probably because they don't know the difference. Why don't they know the difference? Probably because they don't know jack about the military.

Yet they're going to tell us if the "surge" is working or not.

McCain is trapped in a web of his own making. When everyone in the country wanted us out of Iraq, he figured that he could corner the right-wingers for the primaries by calling for a crazy increase, or surge, in troop levels there. The problem is, Bush was just crazy enough to call for that surge and now McCain is stuck with it. So now he has to defend it and he is doing it by telling right-wing voters listening to Bill Bennett that the surge is working. Of course the only problem with this is the facts--it is not working. It is only marginally working in Baghdad and, since many freedom fighters (after all these are the people whose freedoms we were so concerned about that we started a preemptive war) have moved out of Baghdad into outlying areas, where bombings and killings have increased. So, yes, the Straight talk Express has derailed. I claim it fell off the rails the minute McCain hugged the man who accused him in South Carolina of having an illegitimate black baby. I hope that no young, independent voter even thinks about voting for McCain again, ever.

McCain really looks like a victim - a Stockholm syndrome like glaze over his eyes - that unmistakeable duped expression on his face - like he's been bamboozled by his best buddies and is trying desparately to look unaffected.

Odds are - someone fed him his lines -patted him on the back- and assured him that the republi-con machine was behind him all the way -and that the media monkeys were way behind the times and out of date- and assured him that -yes- he'd be the shining star divulging all of this really cool stuff - great shining epiphanies all around - and like a lamb to the slaughter, he just walked right into it -splat- not suspecting a thing.

I'm sorry, but people just don't go all blatantly contrary like that without some strong belief that they'll be backed up by the machine.

It's a Rovian masterpiece - you gotta love this guy's political Kung Fu - this is the next generation of reality TV in the making - can't wait to see who's credibility gets shredded next in the public arena!

Think they'll go ahead and do Rudy or is he the chosen one?

Sculpting the political landscape with words mightier than any sword - a thing of wonder to behold ...
