You can tell that the Washington press corps has sold out when it replaces Steven Colbert with Rich Little. You know Little is ancient history when he has to convince people that he’s not dead, that he’s still performing.

Let’s keep the Monkey in the bubble just a little bit longer. Never mind that he ignores all sane advice from the military and senior GOP politicians to start a slow withdrawal from Iraq. Never mind that he actually thinks Gonzales is doing a good job as AG when even GOP members of the Senate Judiciary Committee openly state he should go. Never mind that his admin. is the most corrupt and incompetent in US history. The press in DC quit doing their jobs long, long ago. Why should they push Dubya to wake up now?

Seriously people, the entire audience laughed when Brad used the animal cruelty jokes and quail jokes in his rap. I’m not very fond of Rove, but you are blowing it all out of proportion just because you don’t like the guy and his attempt at humor failed. These are politicians, not comedians. Don’t rip on him for trying…..poorly.

As for the comments about the current administration, the president, and republicans in general compared to the Clinton administration – I’d rather be lead into a million poor decisions that were based on good morals rather than live another day under an immoral administration like Clinton’s.

Karl was absoluely making reference to people thinking he is evil with his “pulling the heads off of small animals comment” He was dismissing their opinion. Belittling their position.

I’ve always found this kind of lame shit rather boring at corporate functions and such, at least Cobert bitch slapped them into not having the guts to invite entertainment with any real talent to thier events for the emotionally impared.

Rove looks to me like a man who knows the hour of reconing is coming.
