100+ dead in Baghdad suicide bombings.

“Multiple suicide bombers struck in predominantly Shiite markets in Baghdad and in a town north of the capital, killing at least 104 people and wounding scores on Thursday – the day that new U.S. Ambassador Ryan Crocker took office.”

How many were American (the link does not say)?

  2. gummitch says:

Yeah, but that was in one of the unsafe neighborhoods. In the safe neighborhoods McCain went strolling along without his armor.

And always remember: blowing up brown people doesn’t count.

please, just ignore jake. he’s just a waste of energy. nothing he says ever makes sense.

Jake, I have left you alone up until now.

IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW MANY WERE AMERICANS.

    now, go away

    No thanks, hacker bob.

I heard they were going to wait until US soldiers left. Aren’t they supposed to circle a date on their calendars and wait?

Don’t believe it, Libstl. Jake tried to claim that the reason I’m on his infantile ‘ignore list’ is because I failed to answer a question he asked…problem is, the question he referred to doesn’t exist.

Jake’s real reason for placing me on The List â„¢ is because I asked him a question he was incapable of answering…and I’d wager the same reason applies to just about everyone else on The List â„¢.

To sum up, Jake’s a liar and a fraud, and not worth engaging in serious debate (although debunking his ludicrous talking points is still amusing).

  16. I WORFEUS says:

Gee. is this the improvements Senator McCain was referring to?

If so, iI hope its not going to get too much better.

  17. JakeIsStupid says:

    Jake,

Thousands of Americans will die this year in AMERICA due to lack of health care, how do you feel about that? These include babies from mothers who just can’t afford good pre-natal care.

Thousands more Americans lives will be ruined by taking on massive debts from someone in their family becoming ill, and they cannot afford the medical care they do get.

Stick that up your arse and smoke it!

Well we know of one American who unfortunately was not included.

    You.

  19. Laura Bush says:

Did they all go off at about the same time? If they did then it only counts as one bombing.

Thanks for that. I don’t plan on playing his games anymore. I’ll still call him on his bullsh*t, but that’s it. These issues are too important to play silly games of “I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours.”

  23. Tobey Tall says:

    Iraq war anniversary: Your views

The doctrine of pre-emptive military action endorsed by the Bush administration is very dangerous and cannot be condoned. You cannot just go bombing a country because of loose intelligence based on hearsay or because you feel threatened when there is no real and/or imminenet threat. This is the law of the jungle and it cannot be acceptable in a civilised world.

    Iceman_UK, London, United Kingdom

I am amazed at how many people on this website support or try to justify America’s crimes against humanity. Where is morality, truth and justice in this day and age? The extreme capitalists and pro-war lobby seem to be happy to do anything including killing innocents to achieve their goals. I am disgusted at humanity.

    Shafiq, Dhaka, Bangladesh

The USA must get out of Iraq. We’ve done enough to those people. They did nothing to us. This country (USA) was built on blood, lies and deceit and I don’t want to be here when Karma comes home. We owe the Iraqis so very much. Some big money would help them recover and possibly splitting the country back into the 3 groups that live there. Bless us all.

    littledi2, Guthrie, USA
The Iraq war is going as planned. Bush and cabal need the complete collapse and destruction of Iraqi society and subjugate those left after the ‘occupation’ in over to control the country at all levels, including oil. The war on terror is a pretext to carry out all these atrocities. Oil control is the objective and always will be the objective for the USA. The US congress has passed a mediocre bill that does not fulfill the objectives to end the occupation; on the contrary, it provides Bush the opportunity to continue the rape of Iraq. The only beneficiary of this chaos is Israel by maintaining a military and economic supremacy in the region.

  26. firehead says:

This is war. People die. How many died in World War II?

Just because some people are dying doesn’t mean we can’t win. Bill O’Reilly said the surge is working. So did Sean Hannity. I believe their word over slanted AP reports.

You having a “civil-debate”? That’s not possible for a *child* like you – son. Eat some more Cheetohs, and get back on that PS3 – dweeb.

  31. LibStl says:

    Jake-
You are playing games. You were playing a numbers game in the other thread and you’re playing one here.

And no, you did not answer all my questions…at least not adequately. I wanted to know how many terrorists were killing Americans in Iraq. You gave me an estimate that may or may not be correct. I wanted to know how many Americans terrorists killed in Iraq, and you never even attempted to answer that one.

You’re playing a game of numbers and symantics, and I believe that a “civil debate” on Iraq should rise above both and stick to the issue…the real issue. The real issue is that we are not safer because of the Iraq war no matter how many terrorists are “over there.”

    Civil debate. Whatever.

  32. Devil's Advocate says:

But … But … But … Joe Lieberman just said that things are looking up in Iraq, and McCain said that there were many safe neighborhoods in Baghdad.

  33. RUCerious says:

How many of the dead were human beings, Jake?

  34. Jake says:

Anyone (NOT on the “Ignore List”) have questions? If so, I’ll be over on the Sampson threads.

  35. LibStl says:

It was fun for a while Jake, but you have made no valid arguments that we are safer here because of what’s happening “over there.” I may choose to engage you if you can, but I won’t hold my breath. Take care.

  38. Jake says:

For the record, the only way to get on the “Ignore List” is to refuse to answer my questions even though I’ve answered all of your questions, resort to personal attacks against me when I don’t against you, or ask (there’s no “form” to fill out or any other requirements other than what I call Common Courtesy — if you refuse to answer my questions, for instance, why should I waste me time with that?).

  39. The Artist Formerly Known as WORFEUS says:

    Hey I got an idea.

Why don’t we just broadcast that video of Karl Rove last night doing his gorilla dance on every tv set in Iraq?

Just play it over and over till they either drift into coma’s or their heads explode.

Then, we go in and grab the oil.

    :|

Or would that classify as a weapon of ASS destruction?

No one’s buying it, Shakey…not even the ‘lurkers’ that are your ‘chosen audience’.

For God’s sake, Jake, just go. Watching you get humiliated on a daily basis isn’t even fun anymore…it’s just sad and pathetic.

  41. The Artist Formerly Known as WORFEUS says:

The way to get on Jakes ignore list is to clean his clock in a debate.

He then just “ignores” you, so he doesn’t have to face you again.

THATS how you get on Jake the Jackass’s ignore list.

  42. alp3 says:

Is there a form that I need to fill out to get on the ignore list?

Why are the trolls now waging a war on civility and common courtesy?

Isn’t their war on common sense enough? If they had half the success
killin’ the terrorists, as they have had squashing common sense, Jake could move out from under his bed. Maybe go outside and sniff a freakin’ flower or something… chase a bumble bee…

  43. Jake says:

For the record, calling me a “Jackass” qualifies as a “personal attack” and since alp3 cannot read the words “there’s no form to fill out”, he / she was added to the “Ignore List” right after shane. If anyone ELSE has any questions, let me know.

  44. hacker bob says:

Jake, two simple questions for you:

    1) Why does it matter how many killed were Americans?

    2) Are American lives more valuable than Iraqi lives?

I think those were simple enough. As I am not on the ignore list, I will await your response.

  45. buzzbomb says:

Firehead- your stupidity grows with each passing day. Do you realize how absolutely moronic you sound when you say “Sean Hannity said so”? Sean Hannity is a shill for the admin. and stands to look like a huge jack ass when this all goes sour. Oops, it already went sour. Keep putting your head down and running into that brick wall and hopefully you’ll knock your dumbass self out.

If I have to point out the differences in WWII and the Iraq occupation, you better pack a lunch, numbnuts.

  46. buzzbomb says:
