Did you guys know that most politicians that tear each other apart in the public eye are best friends besides closed doors? did you guys know that?

did you know Howard Dean’s family has attended many special family events thrown by the Bushs, unrelated to politics?

I mean honestly, politicians and the media, whether it is blogs like this one or blogs on the right are dividing the american people.

I am sick and tired of the bickering, the incestuous fighting of Americans over the Republican and Democrat party. Both parties are full of corrupt, idiotic, selfish, only want power, I don’t care about the people politicians.

Republicans showed it when they were in power and Democrats are showing it now and have showed it in the past.

I am sick and tired of government officials from BOTH parties lying, lying and lying.

If we conservatives didn’t accepted and demanded Clinton to step down because he lied, we MUST be consistant and ask Gonazalez to go!!

If it is true he lied, he needs to go NOW!!

And your point here is……? Where has there been any charges filed or hearings on this? And how does this relate to this hearing about the US Justice Departmenet? Another Repug attempt to deflect from the truth (Something that has never been a BushCo Family Value!)

Perhaps she resigned from MILCON because she could not take the heat generated by Metro’s expose of her ethics (which was partially funded by the Investigative Fund of the Nation Institute). Or was her work on the subcommittee finished because Blum divested ownership of his military construction and advanced weapons manufacturing firms in late 2005?

The MILCON subcommittee is not only in charge of supervising military construction, it also oversees “quality of life” issues for veterans, which includes building housing for military families and operating hospitals and clinics for wounded soldiers. Perhaps Feinstein is trying to disassociate herself from MILCON’s incredible failure to provide decent medical care for wounded soldiers.

The NYTimes is demanding an investigation. Arianna Huffington has launched ads lambasting Feinstein. The left-wing blogosphere is an uproar over Feinstein’s war profiteering.

What’s the Big F’n deal already? Yes, Fredo lied. What would you expect him to say, “Yes, we conspired to fire attorneys who weren’t towing the line?”

You are intentionally using examples that aren’t analogous to the misstatements, such as comments made in threads. When lawyers involved with the White House and DOJ submit letters to Congress, they don’t simply use bad recollection and say things they aren’t sure of. If Congress asks you for some answers, it’s not like anyone just says in response, “we’re not sure of this, but we’ll go ahead and answer Congress as if we are sure of it”.

the fact that the DOJ made the same misstatement in both written form and in congressional testimony means that it was almost certainly intentional. A typical jury seeing that evidence would almost certainly conclude there was intent.

Either Gonzales or Sampson or both have made misstatements; now they’re trying to attribute intent to the other. Regardless, it means one or both of them is a liar.

If it’s the truth, yes. Why is it too much to ask that the Bush Administration start telling the truth?
