“Fox News Channel is announcing today that it has cut a deal with the Congressional Black Caucus Institute to sponsor two debates, one with Democrats and another with Republicans in the 2008 presidential race.”
It’s too bad for Fox News that the majority of Americans refuse to watch their ultra-partisan news.
maybe, just maybe, if Fox News stopped swigging the kool-aid they might just wake up to the fact that they are the single most biased and partisan news channel in the world.
I won’t hold my breath. It would be like expecting Pres. Bush to take responsibility for one single thing that he’s royally screwed up. It just aint gonna happen.
I’m working on a project to have Fox News (?) banned from Federal buildings on the basis of the Hatch Act. There is “some” precident that make it a possibility.
The Troll fantasy world where 70% of America is considered a minority. The same perverted logic that allows Bush/Coulter Republican John “Batshit Crazy” McCain to claim Gen. Petraeus travels around Iraq in an un-armored humvee. Same logic that allows Hot-Tub Tom Delay to deny that he wrote that Dick Armey was “drunk on power” in his book, even though Chris Matthews pointed out the quote to him.
If Fox has few viewers then the liberal outlets of MSNBC and Err America must have none.

The reason is because liberals are not sheep like you fu*ktards. We all get our news from different places, where you people all listen to or watch Fox “News”
I can’t wait until December in Brazil to create a seed.
I don’t want to go witness to the gays on the beach, even though it is the only thing that gets you excited enough to …. well…… you know….

And that’s really the nub of it. Faux is the only place that wingnuts can be sure they won’t hear anything that disturbs them or makes them think. Just like Cheney and the motel tv set.
Hours after the Democrats debate on Noise (if they ever do; I still doubt it will ever happen) I ‘m going to this site to read up on all the smears and laughs the ignorant children who work for Noise are going to hurl at the Democrats…

Gummitch, allow me to suggest a correction?
Faux News viewers watch it for the security of having their worldview reinforced, but they’re not that concerned with not being disturbed. They enjoy getting disturbed, as long as it’s the Democrats who are disturbing them. You know, like if Britt Hume tells them Nancy Pelosi is legislating the terrorist agenda, that gets them upset, but at the same time it reassures them that they’re right. They love it. Righteous outrage is like Mountain Dew to these people.
I hope the Democratic Party candidates boycott this event. I hate seeing Fox Noise given the imprimatur of legitimacy. Next, I suppose Dems will be submitting to interviews by Limbaugh. I just don’t see a boycott as cowardice. I see it as taking a stand against an unscrupulous, sleazy, organization.
The only way the Democrats are going to agree to participate is if the know the questions ahead of time and they get to pick the network and the moderator.
I say bring back the League of Women Voters to moderate the debates just like the days before the two parties stopped it because the questions were to direct and hard and they actually had to answer them.
n October 2, 1988, the LWV’s 14 trustees voted unanimously to pull out of the debates, and on October 3 they issued a dramatic press release:
The League of Women Voters is withdrawing sponsorship of the presidential debates … because the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter. It has become clear to us that the candidates’ organizations aim to add debates to their list of campaign-trail charades devoid of substance, spontaneity and answers to tough questions. The League has no intention of becoming an accessory to the hoodwinking of the American public.
WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THE CBC WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH “FAUX-FOX-NEWS”??????? GO FIGURE!!!!!!! THAT ILLEGAL ALIEN Murdoch COULDN’T PAY ME ENOUGH OF HIS ILL-GOTTEN BLOOD MONEY TO APPEAR ON “FAUX-FOX-NEWS”, EVEN IF HE GAVE ME CARTE BLANCHE TO CURSE OUT AND INSULT VICIOUSLY EVERY CREEP ON FOX, the white house, Bushland Uber Allies, and ASSORTED DUNG-dits and trolls!!!!!
If, let’s say, I took a dump on my neighbor’s lawn, and FoxNews reported on the story, did it really happen? ‘Cause I’d really like to do that. They watch Fox and own a Coulter book.
“At least Kucinich is not afraid of Fox News (unlike pansy John Edwards ; )
I like the guy, but he’s a shorter Lurch on camera. At this point, he’ll settle for playing the spoiler; his chances of even gaining the vice presidency are in the longshot category.
At least THEY aren’t afraid of Fox News!
March 29th, 2007 at 5:27 pmI wish they’d get Homer J. Simpson to moderate. After all, it’s on Fox…
March 29th, 2007 at 5:27 pmFaux must have ponied up some major bucks to get this.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:29 pmGood, they will be on a channel people actually watch.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:29 pmGood. Lets hope you folks don’t come up with some lame excuse not to debate.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:31 pmGood. Let’s compare how the Faux talking heads treat each slate of candidates.
Prediction: Democrats — disdain. Republics — kid gloves.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:33 pmOr maybe the CBC knows it would be a fair and balanced debate.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:34 pmYes, 28% of Americans will be able to watch this. 72% will ignore it.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:35 pmIs fu*k you and Fox “News” a lame excuse?
Well, who cares what you think anyway.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:36 pmWho is scared of a bunch of people who piss their pants on a regular basis?
March 29th, 2007 at 5:36 pmThen the CBC doesn’t know Fox “News.”

March 29th, 2007 at 5:38 pmWow. Trolls for days, and all of them sporting their FauxNews woodies. “We always get it up for Faux!”

March 29th, 2007 at 5:40 pmThey could have it on MESSNBC but cable access gets better ratings.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:42 pmOr maybe the CBC knows it would be a fair and balanced debate.
Oh, my sides! That’s a good one, really.
No. I’m sure that’s not the reason.

Fantasy world for unserious Americans.

March 29th, 2007 at 5:47 pmNow that’s what I call fair and balanced.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:48 pmHow is ERR America doing these days GSD?
March 29th, 2007 at 5:49 pmOh boy, it is the stupid ratings talking point.
Once again, 1.6 million people watch Bill O’Rielly, Fox “News” number one show.
8 million people play World of Warcraft.
So, 5.7 million more people would rather play a video game than watch Fox “News” lie about the topic of the day.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:51 pmActually, it is doing fine. It just came out of chapter 11 and has new owners. What’s your point.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:52 pmIf Fox has few viewers then the liberal outlets of MSNBC and Err America must have none.
March 29th, 2007 at 5:53 pmCBC is going ahead with the debate DESPITE Faux News’ reputation, not because of it…sheesh!

March 29th, 2007 at 6:29 pmI hope the CBC stiffs’em a big fish somewhere along the way.
