“The government contractor that set up a billion-dollar-a-year federal reading program for the Education Department and failed to keep it free of conflicts of interest is one of the companies now evaluating the program.”

What is really sad, is that this does not supprise me in the least.
Bushco has already sunk so such low depths, we can only expect it to get deeper.

Since that was also my first reaction to this bit of news, I’ll let those smarter than me say it :)

And I can’T BELIEVE ANY LIBERAL WOULD QUOTE A MAN who was responsible for the drowning death of a woman and NEVER punished for it!

Why? You stick up for someone who has caused the deaths of over quarter of a million people, and you somehow seem ok with that.

Which is worse, a traffic accident? (Check with Laura Bush on that one) Or bombing two sovereign nations back to the stone age, killing hundreds of thousands of innocent children, women and men?

I can’t believe what a st*pid little coward you are – yet here you are acting like one. You can’t defend the right wingnuts – so what do you do? Smear, lie, and accuse liberals of *crimes* they’ve never been charged or convicted of. Why? Because your own position is *indefensible*, so your only defense is to *lie* and accuse others of being *worse*, instead of attending to your own. What a useless little twit you are. No wonder your commanders felt you were unfit, and too cowardly to serve in Vietnam! You’d have been fragged, you useless little piece of st*pid sh*t!! BAHAAHAH, idiot!

Yeah, the word of an idiot that is responsible for the deaths of perhaps 1 million Iraqis… is far more relevant.

JPV, michael prefers the word of a man that married a woman that murdered her own boyfriend as a teenager. That’s a much more admirable personal hero for him!

The poor thing, he fixates on Berger destroying “copies” of documents (a stupid yet unimportant thing in the scheme of things), while the Bush administration destroys “All Copies” of documents in the Plame affair. Poor little cowardly st*pid piece of sh*t can’t tell the difference between an unimportant and important act! That explains why he thinks he’s a *hero* for not fighting in Vietnam, while he trashes those that did! What a useless little *loser*!! BHAAHAHAHA

Portsmouth, NH – not a very big place (pop.21k) – but with *all* the Presidential candidates campaigning in the State, I’m sure some of the locals will ask a couple of questions about the gravy train.

  21. Tobey Tall says:

The U.S. military death toll in March, the first full month of the security crackdown, was nearly twice that of the Iraqi army, which American and Iraqi officials say is taking the leading role in the latest attempt to curb violence…

  22. Perry Logan says:

That Ted Kennedy meme is incontinent right-wing slander at its most fetid. It’s also preety stupid. Someone obviously drugged Teddy, hoping to kill or disgrace him. Barely conscious, he almost drowned trying to save his friend. And the wingers turn this into a murder plot. Anything to smear a Democrat, I guess. I’m glad they’re not police detectives. Or scriptwriters.

Can someone please explain to me what I should imply from this statement?

Please help me fast.I need someone at fauxzxxxs news to clearly explain to us why this is the only real sensible method to sort out the problems.
My version is: what do you expect? Didn’t we pass the sanity exit along way back? It doesn’t come up again you know.

  25. veritas says:

One way to keep things quiet – just as they did with environmental polluters…put one of the biggest lobbyists in charge….and then pardon those facing charges during the previous administration. Pretty clever, eh? Or at least they thought so……until now! The whistleblowers are flying out of the woodwork like termites now…anyone care to take a guess at what new scandal will surface this coming week?

  26. EasyRider says:

    Same thing here:
Maryland hired SAIC to certify that the new electronic votong machines’ code was valid and met the standards.

SAIC certified that it did. This it knew because it wrote the code!

Nice job, I write it, then I get hired to check that I followed and met all the necessary requirements. Yep! I did it right. Pay me twice.

  27. veritas says:

P.S. Nothing unusual here….it’s been a well-conceived “plot” by this administration and they almost accomplished a total coup on this democracy. Their biggest mistake was thinking that it would look unseemly to fire prosecutors without justification (which they had the right to do) and the naive young minds decided to make it look good by citing reasons. hahahaha! big mistake! And this will be the mistake which will be responsible for the final fall of the Bush administration. Stupid is as stupid does.

  28. veritas says:

Everything about this administration of smoke & mirrors, steal & conceal, is corrupt. Anything any Rethug touches is contaminated and cannot be trusted. The next thing the people need to look into is the hackable voting machines or 08 will become a “crap shoot” – who can hack the machines first. Why vote?

  29. veritas says:

That’s what Bush gets for hiring “stoolies” (thirtysomethings) to be his “fall guys”. The problem with youth is that they don’t know when to shut up and they believe the lies about themselves that they are qualified to do these jobs. Their egos nail not only themselves but those whom they’ve been hired to protect.

  30. nofltwlt says:

What will be the Bush defense when he and his band of racketeers are finally brought down? Will Bush say that criminal, subversive behavior is in his genes? If so, I think the eradication of this gene by the scientic community should be pursued.

  31. veritas says:

Orin Hatch, the Hatchet-Man for Bushco, needs to be investigated next. Why is it that so many people working for this one man are now suspect of being involved in the Gonzo scandal? Why is it that he was the only idiot at the Sampson hearing trying to put words in Kyle’s mouth and otherwise “paint the picture” to exonerate the DOJ? Why is it that Hatch is the least patriotic individual in Congress?

Why is it that this twisted, demented individual is sitting in Congress right now and is trying to screw The People whom he purports to represent?

Let’s take a closer look at Hatch’s dealings, shall we? No doubt this man has much to be worried about. In fact, the way he spoke at the hearing would lead an observer to believe that he’s got so many skeletons in his personal closet regarding these firings that he “protested too much”. Let’s take a look at Hatch…..

Chimpy’s No Child Left Behind program is a scam.

Hopefully this scandal will bring it down…before it brings down our schools.

  35. Willliam says:

We the people will hopefully will learn from how this country was run and will remember what has been done to our country and start soon with a new selection of people to run this country. We will need to have representitives who will pass new laws where people are held to account for their lies and when they are caught with abusing this country the punishment will be more then a few years or a small fine.
The people need to be very smart about our future.
