18 Iraqi journalists killed in the first quarter of 2007.
According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, Iraqi journalists “were liable to kidnap, assault, harassment, detention and obligatory displacement.” Last year, Iraq was the most dangerous country for journalists, “with 39 reporters and 26 other media workers killed.”

Here I was thinking that there might not be good news. Has anyone told the Repubs that this might be a good talking point (Good News dies on lips of journalists unfairly targeted by extremists).
