The Balance of Power in the Middle East has shifted. Thanks to Bush’s illconceived and lethally incompetent war in Iraq, Iran’s Shiite star has risen, and the Sunni powers are worried. I think the Arab leagues offer to establish normalized relations with Isreal reflects this concern.
Bush is as incompetent at waging Peace, as he is at waging war. Refusal to talk to Iran and Syria being exhibit A! Hopefully Pelosi can interject some common sense into the situation. Who knows,? she could end up with a Nobel Peace Prize.

Syria get to speak to the Speaker of the House and she is in charge of the money now. Bush/Cheney/Connie can cry all they want Pelosi is third in line to the White House and she has the power. Notice the man is the head of the family but the wife is in charge of the money. Syria and others should get use to speaking to an American woman, soon they’ll be speaking to President Hillary Clinton. Sorry George your time is up and the World Leaders know it.
