That is until reading “IF Dems are sincere in bolstering poor communities that factoid (of faith-based government aid) should mot have gotten in the way of community improvement. Oh really? It’s the proposition that is all wrong: “Here’s some water, you thirsty man, just thank My God for giving it to you, and you can drink.” Shame on Bush (and you, too) for bundling government aid to the poor with strings of your mythology. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Nothing wrong with churches collecting money from their patrons to redistribute in “God’s Name”; those dollars are donated voluntarily to “God” and “His” earthly representatives. It’s bad enough that my tax dollars are used to kill people in unjust warmongering… I really don’t want them attributed to “God”; not yours or anyone else’s.

Here’s some classic doublethink: “People should only be disparaged for being habitually stupid – as opposed to liberals encouraging and/or excusing bad behaviour.” So, “Liberals encourage bad behavior”, like being poor and needing a hand(?), yet “Conservative help is ‘noble’ since is comes direct from the ‘Hand of God’”. You got it all wrong valiant venus, liberals just think some folks have it rough because of the circumstances they were born into, chose to live, or where to work, etc., and need assistance from those of us who don’t have it so rough… liberals actually believe the concept of “equality for all”, and are willing to work toward that. After all, it wasn’t “conservatives” who freed the slaves, earned women suffrage, or fought for the independence of our nation. You mistake Liberal “assistance” for “encouragement”, and imply Conservatives actually care?… typical of cross-eyed conmen.

Oh, and then there’s this gem: “Again, you fall into the liberal talking hole, failing to mention that the information of the day [Bush's justification for invading Iraq] was readily agreed to and accepted by the previous administration and the majority of Western intelligence agencies.” Well, there you go again, singing the same old song about how “Bush knew this, Bush knew that, blah, blah, blah”. Bush was in a unique position to learn the facts where his predecessors merely had speculation. Bush had inspectors on the ground, and eyes in the sky and could have determined the truth about Iraq’s WMD if he hadn’t been lying about spoiling for a war in the first place. As the truth comes out, and as all but about 30% of Americans know by now, Bush was cherry-picking, exaggerating, even pressuring intel agents to provide evidence to fit his story and bury the facts that did not. Shame on you, valiant venus, your kind of apologetic attitude is what brought an imbecile (some say “monster”) to head our great country.
