“Riiight, so what about the some of the republican delegates who went to Syria?”

What about Nancy Pelosi being the Speaker of the House and therefor not a conductor of foreign policy according to the constitution of this nation and still currently the most powerful member in congress. Not only should she not have gone to Syria,she needs to be on medication and in a mental hospital.
Syria has not done anything decent after numerous trips by . U.S. delegations and delegations from other countries since 911 and before,, they do nothing because they are only a puppet of IRAN, and do what they are told by fanatics.

Well, at this point, not even Republican Congressmen care what the Bush administration says. Or at least not when it comes to Syria:

“I don’t care what the administration says on this. You’ve got to do what you think is in the best interest of your country,” said Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va. “I want us to be successful in Iraq. I want us to clamp down on Hezbollah.”

They don’t know how to do anything else nearly as well.

From the California energy crisis to fudged regulations and tax breaks for polluters, they excel at rewarding bad behavior.

Americans have figured out that labeling others as “evil, bad, or nasty” is childish and not what we want from our national leaders. Diplomacy is more than threatening others with weapons of mass destruction in order to force agreement. Cheney/rove/bush have proven over and over that their neo-con use of military force and perpetual war will not make Americans safer. . . it’s going to be painful to cheney/rove/bush to have Americans force them to change their behavior.
