If you think about it, Iran was responsible for September 11.

Do you know which country is which over there, Rudy Ghoulee?

  4. jeff says:

I agree. Jihadists caused 911. Iran supports Jihadists. Don’t blame Guiliani for thinking broad.

  7. Nicollo MacPlato says:

If you think about it, gays were responsible for 9/11, err ah, I mean Hollywood, err ah, I mean Bill Clinton, yeah, that the ticket, it was Clinton.

  8. jeff says:

You know it really is us vs. them whether you like it or not. I don’t like it, but it is reality. Christian west vs. Muslim east. That’s reality.

  9. Deniz Yeter says:

The US, Britain, and Israel have been supporting Jihadists for over a century now

So if you think about it, all three countries are responsible for supporting radical Islamists eventually tied to al Qaeda, just so we can undermine Arab Nationalism

So if you want to look broad, our funding of radical Islamists caused 9/11

Don’t blame me for thinking broad

What the hell is with these Republicans? They make the most idiotic statements, in public none the less. So Guiliani is claiming to be “Bush II” by making false statements. Hey, Guili, it was Saudi’s that flew the planes into the World Trade Center, not Iranians. Just keep on making stupid statements and the Republic Party will hand the presidency over to the Democratic Party in 2008. Yeah, it’s sounding better every day.

Just 653 days left in the lame duck presidency of boy Bush.

  69. Coffins Draped with Flags says:

Jeff – how noble of you to admit that you are afraid. The only thing that I fear is boy Bush’s ability to blow up this planet.

I didn’t support boy Bush before, during or after 9/11. And unlike you who believed the Bush/Cheney motto “Be afraid, be very afraid”, I didn’t walk around in fear after 9/11, either.

How dare you assume that your christo-blabber speaks for “us”?

We are not in a war of Christians vs Muslims, East vs West, Sunnis vs Shiites, or Republicans vs Democrats. None of those labels adequately frames the issue.

All of these stupid theories have been debunked, but you have to read beyond the subjective source material, which SOUNDS good, but is WRONG.

    jeff,

The Jewish Irgun in Israel (doubtless bank rolled by American Jews)…

…got rid of the British through terrorist acts…

…bombing and murdering their way to “independence” from the British mandate in Palestine…

…this was essentially their first step in taking over Palestine…

…there is a line in MacBeth where he is being tormented by his thoughts of murdering the good King Duncan…

…and MacBeth basically says that his violence will “teach” others to do the same…

…non-violent protest came AFTER the Irgun had already taught the Palestinians…

    …that “might makes right”…

…and as far as your Bush’it about Palestinians asking for handouts…

…the Israelis have frozen Palestinian funds due them and control their ability to create commerce…

    …with their (Israeli’s draconian occupation)…

…you right wing aCs really ARE uninformed and just plain stupid!

  85. jeff says:

You are not being realistic by suggesting religious people conduct their affairs “in the afterlife”. What a silly thing to say. Faith is a struggle, hence the word.
America would never treat a Christian nation the way they treat Islamic nations. Perhaps covertly, as in south America or whatever, but never as a matter of policy. Islamist countries are extreme, and they are trying to get nukes. So it’s 50/50 maybe. 1/2 religion, 1/2 fear of nukes in the hands of fanatics. Either way, Americans will, fortunately, side with the protector leader. Why do you think the DLC is so strong?
And let me say, make no mistake that America is unhappy with the Iraq mess not because they feel safe. It’s the opposite. If a situation similar to 911 happened again tomorrow and BushCo waned to invade Iran? Then we’re going to Iran.

  86. jeff says:

Yeah I know Israelis and Begin were terrorists. That has nothing to do with what were talking about.
Seems to be Israel would like to pay Palestine. It’s that whole “soft bigotry of low expectations” thing don’tcha know.

re#80 gorn by any other name

I notice you nor any link can explain why that picture is not an explosion?

“Critical thinking” does not not mean calling people names, and it does not mean ignoring the evidence that does not fit into your hypothesis!

If this explanation of the picture is so “ridiculous” why cannot you or any “expert” make a model building where by weaking one or more of its vertical columns, you can make the model building disintegrate and throw debris up in the air against gravity before the debris collides with and bounces off the ground?

Can you or any other expert turn concrete into 50 micron powder like in the following picture in less than 15 seconds without explosives?

    h t t p : / / 9 1 1 r e s e a r c h . w t c 7 . n e t / w t c / e v i d e n c e / p h o t o s / s t r e e t s 1 . h t m l

Even if you drop a concrete block from an airplane it will not turn into 50 micron powder than can hold a footprint!

Can you explain how a hole in the Pentagon less than the size of a 757 can allow a 757 to go thru without breaking off its wings, engines, and tail on the outside?

    h t t p : / / 9 1 1 r e s e a r c h . w t c 7 . n e t / p e n t a g o n / e v i d e n c e / p h o t o s / p u n c h o u t . h t m l

Did you not learn spacial relationships in kintergarten?

Or do you believe that you can squeeze a log thru a keyhole, without sheering any of the log outside the keyhole?

If these 9-11 ideas are so “ridiculous”, how come NOBODY can duplicate the amazing impossible science defying feats, and prove that they are “ridiculous”?

No, what is “ridiculous” is trying to pass off an OBVIOUS explosive demolition of a building as having fell down from a weakened structure, when photographic evidence CLEARLY shows debris moving UP against gravity and not DOWN with gravity!

No, what is “ridiculous” is trying to pass off an OBVIOUS missle attack as a 757 hitting a building on the ground floor,
when photographic evidence CLEARLY shows that a 757 is too big to have caused they entry hole without leaving the wings, engines, and tail outside the hole!

    Jeff: You are a loon.

Critical Thinker: You are not a critical thinker. You are so caught up in your conspiracy wish that nothing I can say will deter you. Sad.

I’d invite anybody to first read the link I gave, then read the link you gave, and draw their own conclusions.

We need to focus on getting loons like Jeff removed from our government, and your going on and on about nutty conspiracy theories only hurts that cause.

  91. JIMBO says:

And let me say, make no mistake that America is unhappy with the Iraq mess not because they feel safe. It’s the opposite. If a situation similar to 911 happened again tomorrow and BushCo waned to invade Iran? Then we’re going to Iran.

    Comment by jeff — April 7, 2007 @ 9:03 pm

Uh, Jeff, if another 9/11 occured (and I hope it doesn’t), wouldn’t we have to find out first who did it? Let’s say it was a right wing wacko American like the ones who bombed the building in Oklahoma over a decade ago. Are you going to tell me that if it was, say one of our own who committed a terrorist act and that to get revenge, we’d have to create a war in Iran?

Dude, lay down the pipe, don’t go jumping the gun and start thinking hard. I know that for someone like yourself thinking intelligently is hard, considering what you have posted so far, but either try to make sense or start becoming one of John McCain’s minions.

  92. JPark says:

Jeff is absolutely right. If we had a terrorist attack the sheep would be all for attacking Iran because you know Bushco would push that angle (despite the fact that we are supporting anti-Iranian terrorists). The average American is an idiot.

  93. JPark says:

Jeff didn’t say that is what he wanted. He said that is what would happen.

  94. gorn by any other name says:

    Jeff –

“You are not being realistic by suggesting religious people conduct their affairs “in the afterlife”. What a silly thing to say. Faith is a struggle, hence the word.”

This is so dang funny. When we are talking about fanatical religious beliefs, “realistic” has very little to do with it.

“Faith is a struggle”. What?? Faith is belief in a particular religious dogma regardless of, or in spite of, any contrary evidence. Faith is not a struggle. Rather, struggle is a result of conflicting faiths.

What I was recommending was that you conduct that struggle in the afterlife. See, both faiths believe in the same god and both believe in an afterlife, so you can meet in god’s playground. This, of course, is meant to be an irony and not taken seriously. After all, religious fanatics by definition have very weak faith (another irony), because if their faith was strong, they wouldn’t worry about the faith of others.

“America would never treat a Christian nation the way they treat Islamic nations. Perhaps covertly, as in south America or whatever, but never as a matter of policy. Islamist countries are extreme, and they are trying to get nukes. So it’s 50/50 maybe. 1/2 religion, 1/2 fear of nukes in the hands of fanatics. Either way, Americans will, fortunately, side with the protector leader.”

Wow, you are one scary dude.

“And let me say, make no mistake that America is unhappy with the Iraq mess not because they feel safe. It’s the opposite.”

I thought we were unhappy with Iraq because (a) it’s a frigging mess; (2) it is totally unnecessary; (3) it has solved no problems while creating new ones; (4) it is heaping debt onto the backs of our children; (5) it is based on lies. Shall I continue?

“If a situation similar to 911 happened again tomorrow and BushCo waned to invade Iran? Then we’re going to Iran.”

Again, you are a scary dude. If another 911 happened tomorrow, it would present just another layer of proof that the strategery of BushCo has been a colossal failure. Why on earth would any rational person support a repeat of it?

I think it’s sad that you live in fear. Rage over 911 is justified. A pursuit of the guilty is justified. An insistence on policy that addresses core contributing factors is justified. Your incoherent fear, however, is not justified, nor is using such fear as an excuse for the lunacy of a failed administration.

  95. JPark says:

#93 Am I missing something? I don’t see why everybody is attacking Jeff. Unless I missed a post.

  96. gorn by any other name says:

Hey JPark, I think you need to read more of what Jeff has been saying for proper context. Your interpretation is too kind.

  97. JPark says:

#93 Ok, never mind. I DID miss a post. Or a portion of it. My bad. Jeff is scared of other countries than his own acquiring nukes. I sure as hell would be looking for nukes if I had a big, aggressive, conscienceless country breathing down my neck.

  98. JPark says:

#95 You are right. I was way off.

  99. gorn by any other name says:

“Yes that’s actually what Americans do. They are left of center but they like to secretly elect father figures.”

According to jeff, most Americans have fathers who are drunken cokehead Yankees with a Texas drawl, no management skills, medieval religious beliefs, semi-literate command of the English language, and comprehension of foreign policy on a par with a syphilitic cowboy.

  100. JPark says:

  102. JPark says:

#100 I know, it was redundant.

  103. Zooey says:

What comment # of Jeff’s are you responding to?

  104. JPark says:

#102 I have no clue. I think I have been a fool. Flip-flopping and all that. I went back and read all of Jeff’s posts. I didn’t find the offending remarks and all of his posts seemed reasonable.

I apologize until further notice, Jeff.

Gorn, where is the post that says…

“America would never treat a Christian nation the way they treat Islamic nations. Perhaps covertly, as in south America or whatever, but never as a matter of policy. Islamist countries are extreme, and they are trying to get nukes. So it’s 50/50 maybe. 1/2 religion, 1/2 fear of nukes in the hands of fanatics. It is really out of character from the rest of his posts.

  105. big papa says:

    I know, it was redundant.

    Comment by JPark #101

    …not your post…

    …rather…

    …jeff’s SICKO sexual proclivities…

  106. Zooey says:

jeff was being pretty idiotic early in the thread, but nothing out of the ordinary.

  107. gorn by any other name says:

“Gorn, where is the post that says…”

You know, Jpark, it’s fruitless to try to identify posts by number, because TP is such a friggin mess. Posts appear and disappear and then reappear seemingly at random. I’ve been here for, what, a year? And the system still has the same problems.

But, at least at the moment, that post of jeff’s is #87.

But what first set me off was his post claiming that it’s “us against them”, where “us” is defined as “the Christian west”. I’d prefer he not speak for “us” and suggest U.S. foreign policy should have any religious connection of any kind.

  108. JPark says:

#106 I give up on this post. If Jeff said something offensive it isn’t there anymore. I don’t know him otherwise. Is he typically a dolt?

  109. big papa says:

Yeah, I remember there being two jeffs…

    …one with a capital “J”…

…who also used his last name…

    …and jeff (small “j”)…

    …the ignorant, racist, inbred Bushite…

…who wants to go to war with ALL Muslims…

    …you’re not losing it JPark…

    …jeff is a Bushite a*swiper…

  110. Hu Jintao says:

“You know it really is us vs. them whether you like it or not. I don’t like it, but it is reality. Christian west vs. Muslim east. That’s reality.”

Absolutely, fucking “A” man!!!! — Fight them, fight them!! Fight them towel heads and camel jockeys! Pleazzse fight them. please stay in Iraq, please use torture, pleazzze stay in Iraq.

Fight the world’s 1 billion muslims, pleazzzzzeeee!!!

I promise that China will not pick up the pieces after you tear each other to shreds! Promise!!!

Pleeeeze stay in Iraq and be deadenders- pleazze!

  111. jeff says:

Americans aren’t rational is all I’m saying. And Republicans love their father figures. I got banned from Redstate for saying that about Reagan.
There are some people in here with serious anger issues and I understand that. I’m not afaid of nukes or want to have sex with my father. Maybe I should have used “bad cop” or “militaristic” figure in place of “father figure”. My bad. But I know where your minds go now.
You angry folks sound like terrorist sypathizers. I know you’re not, but you’re terrible at articulating a reasonable critique of American foreign policy. Whenever you bash American policy without contexting it with appropriate language towards terror you only support Neocons. It’s time to hold all Muslims responsible for Jihad. It’s past time. And probably what the jihadists need or want. Like a bully looking for a buddy to hold him back from a fight he secretly does not want to have.
60 years Palestinians wage Jihad. Someone needs to tell them it ain’t working. I know the Neocons and Israelis ain’t gonna do it.

You have this bad habit of speaking for and about all Americans, and you think WE’RE not rational?

  114. dharma says:

The PNAC SAID that in order to achieve their goals (American hedgemony in the Middle East) they need a catastrophic, catalysing event like a new Pearl Harbor. Strange how that happened 9 months into the presidency!

For those of you calling some of us “conspiracy nuts” please open your minds and stop being so afraid to look at all the facts that don’t add up to 19 Arabs. (And if it was, they got incredibly lucky time and time again!). As much as you all hate Bush/Cheney, it seems you’re still resistant to letting yourself understand that our government can do this to us.

Giuliani was a part of the plan because HE had the steel from WTC sent out on cargo ships immediately so that it couldn’t be investigated. Why wasn’t the WTC treated as a crime scene?

Just for giggles, even if you buy the “official story”, it was just good luck that Giuliani was headed for the bunker in WTC7 because it looked as if he was there to help people. He wasn’t. If the bunker were in Queens, Giuliani would have been nowhere to be found.

You are right Jeff, in your own sad world of self-fulfilling prophecies, exactly mirroring the whole End Times rhetoric that will stoke people into actions that will end up destroying us.

There, I just got sucked in!

Well, I guess if this shite is all inevitable, let’s just start firing our nukes straight up into the air – that way we can take the wind out of the Muslim east’s sails!!! PLUS, we could usher in Armageddon and get that over with too!

Get out of the way of progress. PLEASE.

  116. Tweedster says:

    Jeff

For 60 years Israel has engaged in the same sort of activites that got South Africa in trouble for apartheid. No?

Your articulation of holding ALL Muslims responsible for Jihad is laughable. I guess we better get Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Cat Stevens, and Muhammed Ali down to Gauntanamo PRONTO! Oh, and that devious Ketih Ellison!

You’re a buffoon. The people that are in charge of foreign policy in every nation across the globe are the one’s responsible for the way the world is now. Every one of them has made bad, sometimes terrible decisions, in the past, but for you, it is simply easier to condemn ALL Muslims? Wow – critical thinking I think not.

Nice try though really. Come back with something CONCRETE. REASONABLE. etc. things that aren’t in your skill set, eh Blanket (Statement) Boy?

OUCH, gotta beat back my “anger issues” that surface whenever faced with a smug idiot…SORRY!
