Yale and Regent’s grads. The makings for a perfect storm of ideology. One wants to rule the world, the other out to save the world.

An example of the pernicious invasion/takeover of government by the American taliban.
We already know their alumni are incompetent, we know they cannot tell the truth - but they are “saved by their faith,” so they believe they can do no wrong regardless of how many commandments they break or how many of the “seven deadly sins” they commit.
    God help us.

  14. kindness Says:

Kevin Drumm Washington Monthly wrote a piece yesterday about how so many Regent University graduates are ending up working for bushco:

“And how did all those Regent grads get hired at DOJ? Easy. Bush hired one of Regent’s deans to be director of the Office of Personnel Management and John Ashcroft changed DOJ rules to end the practice of having veteran lawyers screen applicants. It seems to have worked well.”

  15. keith Says:

Regent ranks #136 on US News and World Report’s list. Show’s you how bad the 1:6 ratio is.

  16. WORFEUS Says:

What this is is a clear sign of the secular goals of these so called “christian” mega churches.

How does Robertson keep his tax exempt status?

Its clear their goal is to infiltrate the government, and force their interpretation of Christianity on the entire world.

    These are not good people.

  17. Scott Says:

Ah, I love the smell of a burgeoning theocracy in the morning.

  18. WORFEUS Says:

In fact, did you guys ever see the story of how one of these Christian colleges, either Regent or Bob Jones or one of them, had put together a special debating team who could debate left wing activists and bloggers.

Chances are thats where a lot of our trolls come from.

A low-ranking ‘tier 4′ bible-thumping piece of crap law school gets to put their bible-thumping robots into important seats in the Justice Department, overseeing who gets to fill other empty seats, such as those of U.S. Attorneys. And what a surprise that their careful screening of applicants gives even more bible-thumping robots a chance to taint the justice system.

When Gonzales leaves, the Dems should make sure that the only nominee that gets past them and becomes AG will be one who will not only promise to clean house on this sickening mess, but prove from past history that he or she is just the kind of person to do it. No more cover-ups. No more loyal Bushies in the DoJ.

  22. Zooey Says:

No wonder we need hip-waders to get through the crap in this administration.

This reminds me of when I worked at an old money WASP investment banking firm. SEC violations, insider trading was something they never worried about because they new the Jewish firms like Goldman Sachs would be targeted instead because they aimed all their propaganda at them.

Much like Israel takes the blame so often, even among progressives, while Bushco and their oil interests and these fundamentalist Christians run amok. That’s because these groups use Jews and Israel as propaganda to divert attention from themselves.
