The point that everyone always seems to miss is that the other Corporate media outlets are not much better than Fox. In the 2004 debates Larry King and Ted Koppel were terrible moderators, all catering to the ‘electable’ John Kerry and avoiding all discussion of the war in Iraq.

LMAO – now that is way too f**kn’ funny. If this is your desire, then first, you must be intelligent. No intelligent woman would waste her time with someone as stupid as you are. Secondly, you need to show respect to women if you want them to respect you.
Hooray for Sen. Obama for stiffing Fox debate special. It’s been proven that they aren’t fair and balanced at all. They are a propaganda wing of the Republican Party and rarely if ever tell the facts as they are. They remind me of the Nazi party spreading falsehoods about Jews before the holicast during WWII. The Nazi party made the people of Germany believe that all of their problems were caused by Jews. That made Germans able to justify the horrible treatment Jews were subjected to including murder, torture, and genicide.
If Fox thinks I’m calling them names, they are right. What real news organization would slant their coverage to show only one side of an issue? They claim the other media outlets favor liberals, but news organizations like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, generally report things fairly.
To anyone who thinks that this isn’t, the proof is in the voting demographics. Fox News watchers vote Republican more than any other group EXCEPT for Republicans. There could be NO good coming from Democrats giving any legitimacy to the Republican/fascist news network that masquerades as “fair and balanced”.
Hilary, of course, did not lead. But what did we really expect? At least she bowed out after the true leaders (Edwards and Obama) had taken the courageous first step.
#96 Unfortunately, I would. If she were the Dem nominee I would vote for her. Yeah, she is a triangulating right of center schill but at least she is not a triangulating right-wing schill. I would hold my nose though.
To some, it may appear weak for Democratic candidates not to be willing to appear in a debate on Fox “News.” However, it is much, much weaker, to me, for a mega-company like Fox to hide behind lies like “fair and balanced” to try to make it appear legitimate. Fox wants to use a debate to further its political aim of generating as many votes for the Republican party as possible by helping them look good and making Democrats look bad. It does that by duping people into thinking that they provide news from an unbiased perspective. However, its lies mean that even with billions of dollars behind it, its positions are too weak to stand on their own merits. And Fox, as an organization, is simply too weak to stand up for honest positions and instead serves as an obsequious appendage of the Republican party.
#104 I truly feel sorry for you. I have had Dem Sens for the last 12 years and I was “redistricted” Tammy Baldwin’s (nice liberal lesbian) district 3 years ago. It is nice living in one of the most liberal districts in the country (Madison area).
I would think that if one is cheering on a candidate they would be able to elaborate intelligently why?
Comment by michael
This coming from someone with absolutely ZERO ability to elaborate. Heck, I’m shocked he can even SPELL elaborate!! Of course, if he hasn’t gone running to mommy already he’ll respond with a question instead of actually trying to make a point, because he knows he doesn’t have one.
I applaud Barack for following the lead of Sen. Edwards who stepped up first by turning away this debate invitation. And now Sen. Clinton has joined in this stance too. Lets thank John Edwards for making bold moves and standing up to the Fake News.
There is an old adage: “Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and annoys the pig.” I think that explains the Democrats’ decision succinctly.
Faux should be frozen out of anything that can give them the illusion of being fair. It’s already 80% zipperheads — make it 100% to remove all doubt.
The whole right wing media empire is about to implode. Reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine in 2009 will put the final nail in the coffin.

I’m here to serve. :-D
April 9th, 2007 at 9:42 pmHillary is a freak, I wouldn’t vote for her either.
April 9th, 2007 at 10:14 pm#96 Unfortunately, I would. If she were the Dem nominee I would vote for her. Yeah, she is a triangulating right of center schill but at least she is not a triangulating right-wing schill. I would hold my nose though.
April 9th, 2007 at 10:17 pmAlright, I wouldn’t vote for Hillary in the primaries. No double-freaks, just singular freaks.
April 9th, 2007 at 10:28 pm#98 I am still holding out hope for Feingold.

Me, too. I’d vote for him twice. :D
April 9th, 2007 at 10:45 pm#100 I have!!! Well, in two different elections. :)
April 9th, 2007 at 10:48 pmTo some, it may appear weak for Democratic candidates not to be willing to appear in a debate on Fox “News.” However, it is much, much weaker, to me, for a mega-company like Fox to hide behind lies like “fair and balanced” to try to make it appear legitimate.
April 9th, 2007 at 10:54 pm#102 Some say Democrats are weak for not going on Fox. Others are too smart to buy that crap.

Show off…..
Since I live in this god-forsaken red state, I haven’t voted for a single winning candidate for over 10 years — except on the local level.
When I’m done with school, I’m blasting out of this pop stand….
April 9th, 2007 at 10:58 pmWithout those three how can there be a Democratic debate?
April 9th, 2007 at 11:00 pmGood for them — let Fox lose the program.
Obama is getting my vote.
#104 I truly feel sorry for you. I have had Dem Sens for the last 12 years and I was “redistricted” Tammy Baldwin’s (nice liberal lesbian) district 3 years ago. It is nice living in one of the most liberal districts in the country (Madison area).
April 9th, 2007 at 11:03 pm#105 Obama was pretty slow on the uptake. I will take Edwards.
April 9th, 2007 at 11:04 pm#106 JPark
I have Sens Craig & Crapo….oy….and Rep Bill Sali — Google that idiot if you want a good laugh.
April 9th, 2007 at 11:10 pm#108 Actually Zooey, I Googled “Bill Sali scumbag” and got a surprising number of hits. :)
April 9th, 2007 at 11:16 pmI know about Larry Craig. He needs to stop sucking hind tit and develope into a real man.
April 9th, 2007 at 11:17 pmI would think that if one is cheering on a candidate they would be able to elaborate intelligently why?
Comment by michael
This coming from someone with absolutely ZERO ability to elaborate. Heck, I’m shocked he can even SPELL elaborate!! Of course, if he hasn’t gone running to mommy already he’ll respond with a question instead of actually trying to make a point, because he knows he doesn’t have one.
April 10th, 2007 at 2:04 amI applaud Barack for following the lead of Sen. Edwards who stepped up first by turning away this debate invitation. And now Sen. Clinton has joined in this stance too. Lets thank John Edwards for making bold moves and standing up to the Fake News.
April 10th, 2007 at 8:07 amThere is an old adage: “Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and annoys the pig.” I think that explains the Democrats’ decision succinctly.
April 10th, 2007 at 8:20 amI’ll kiss your ass if you’ll move your nose over.
