The Senate Judiciary Committee is “poised to vote” tomorrow on a motion by committee chairman Patrick Leahy (D-VT) for “the power to issue subpoenas for a raft” of Justice Department documents in the U.S. attorney case.
Okay, the real work starts now. Lets see what Chairman Leahy comes up with. More revealing will be the reponse from the Justice Dept. and the White House. Should be interesting to say the least.
Pull up a chair – this may get interesting. Leahy will issue subpoenas. Waxman is looking for “missing” emails.
Bush&Co is probably in more trouble than they can manage.
And I thought Watergate was interesting. I was 16-18 years old during Watergate. This is going make Nixon’s Crimes look like Petty Theft by the time its all said and done.
No kidding. I remember my teenaged outrage back then, and I know Chimpy’s sleazy ways are worse — naturally I’m totally outraged again. I just hope I don’t break out in pimples…..
Heh, Wish I was Zooey. Got that moniker when my friends and I were watching “The Best of Both Worlds” My last name is Wolf and the Battle is fought at Wolf359. Hence my screen name. One friend stuck it on me and that was that.

I’m SICK of “interesting”! These criminals are taking this country for a ride overthe cliff and here we are on so many fronts fighting the BS they dish out!
Our planet is having a CLIMATE CRISIS for God’s sake and we’re still allowing huge gas guzzlers to drive around.
They have caused the biggest military blunder in modern history and we’re still losing lives, handing out big bucks to crony contractors and diminishing our image in the world.
Our deficit is unimaginable, and will be a huge burden on future generations, and we’re still handing out huge tax breaks for those who need it the least, and allowing corporations to out source jobs (who was it Citibank and 17,000 jobs today?) without consequence.
One area of our country was DEVASTATED by a hurricane over 1 1/2 years ago, and still hasn’t been re-built, while private contractors have squandered billions for shoddy work.
Our constitution has been repeatedly trampled, liberties lost and most folks are too focused on idiot tv programs to even care, so they take way even more rights from right under our noses.
Our Justice Department has been made into a political tool to see that elections are controlled and the other side is punished for not going with their God Damn dictatorship.
I DON’T WANT INTERESTING, I WANT INDICTMENTS AND IMPEACMENT.
I WANT WAR CRIMES TRIBUNALS.
I WANT CIVIL RIGHTS, AND SOCIAL JUSTICE, AND SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. I WANT OUR CONSTITUTION ENFORCED AND ANYONE WHO TRIES TO MESS WITH IT, THROWN IN THE SLAMMER (and NOT club fed) with a long sentence!
I WANT FAIR ELECTIONS WHERE THE RESULTS CAN BE VERIFIED BY THE PEOPLE!
I WANT FAIR ELECTIONS WHERE THE RESULTS CAN BE VERIFIED BY THE PEOPLE!
SORRY, BUT I HAVE HAD IT WITH INTERESTING…I WANT ACTION!
woohoo!!

Issue, serve and enforce subpoenas to the WH and Justice Department!
April 11th, 2007 at 10:21 pmThe DOJ and WH are in for a “long, bumpy ride”. And it couldn’t happen to more deserving individuals! At long last!
