I just learned that yours is a critical vote on the stem-cell legislation, and I thought I should write you to urge you to step away from the regressive policies and ideologies of the Bush Administration and support embryonic stem-cell research.

If Bush has anything to blackmail you with, from years of NSA wiretapping, bite the bullet, lay out your dirty laundry and stand up for what is right. Who knows, you might start a trend and you will have colleagues who will admire you for your courage.

I miss New Hampshire and I remember when there seemed some pride about the State motto, “Live Free, or Die!”

Bush must be stopped, and America must be allowed to live free of Neocon and Far Right fascism.

I sent him a message asking if his religion banned transfusions like some do if he’d take that away from all of us as well.

I also agree with you. Most funding may not come down for some time. Let the professional run it like they have in they past. No more, my neighbor who worked at Enron who met Laura Bush at a library needs a job at the CDC crap.

Bush won’t be president for much longer, and Congress is stepping up again with its oversight role. Even the Supreme court is starting to smack them down.

I disagree, it’s important to pass the law, and require the proper oversight within the law so it can’t be subverted by Bush. Clear and simple.

Jesus and his apostles made MANY prophecies concerning the Armageddon. Christians would have you believe that it shall come as “a thief in the night”. Yet, the Bible is rather clear concerning when it would happen. Matter of fact, the Bible consistently said it would follow soon after Jesus’ death. When you point out such verses to Christians they will try to weasel it out of it by saying Christ was talking about his “future” apostles versus the ones he was directly speaking to. All it takes is a close examinations of the pronouns used in order to see that Christ truly did believe the end times would have happened nearly 2,000 years ago. Keep in mind that the Bible claims it is “fit for reproof’ and Christianity “lives and dies on the resurrection and end times”. If we are to believe these verses and accept that the end time prophecies failed then surely the whole book is invalid.

1) Jesus falsely prophesies DIRECTLY to the high priest (Caiphas) that he would live to see his second coming. Jesus uses the term “coming on the clouds of heaven”. This clearly negates the “coming” as the resurrection but as a return to the earth on CLOUDS, not his return in human form from the dead. Matthew 26:64 & Mark 14:62.

“But I tell you: From now on you will see ‘the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power’ and ‘coming on the clouds of heaven.’” (Matthew 26:64 NAB)

The Bible says that god performs and condones performing abortions. Stop lying about the Bible:

Hosea 9:11-16 Hosea prays for God’s intervention. “Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer. Give them, 0 Lord: what wilt thou give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts. . .Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.” Clearly Hosea desires that the people of Ephraim can no longer have children. God of course obeys by making all their unborn children miscarry. Is not terminating a pregnancy unnaturally “abortion”?

Numbers 5:11-21 The description of a bizarre, brutal and abusive ritual to be performed on a wife SUSPECTED of adultery. This is considered to be an induced abortion to rid a woman of another man’s child.

Numbers 31:17 (Moses) “Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every women that hath known man by lying with him.” In other words: women that might be pregnant, which clearly is abortion for the fetus.

Hosea 13:16 God promises to dash to pieces the infants of Samaria and the “their women with child shall be ripped up”. Once again this god kills the unborn, including their pregnant mothers.

2 Kings 15:16 God allows the pregnant women of Tappuah (aka Tiphsah) to be “ripped open”. And the Christians have the audacity to say god is pro-life. How and the hell is it that Christians can read passages where God allows pregnant women to be murdered, yet still claim abortion is wrong?

But no legislation to place criminal penalties on those who Swift Boat actual veterans who have risked their lives for the country? What a shame. I guess they get recess appointments to cherry political positions.
