It’s too bad we can’t even afford more than $50 million for this program, and that 1% improvement isn’t “significant” too anyone (except maybe those teens and their parents ; )
this study only looks at the first four early programs that came out in 1996. It doesn’t look at later programs.
thinkprogress.org, typical liberal site…..half-truths, with a bunch of lies…the sad part is that the liberalbots and the anti-Bush cult members and the hate anything conservative club members will swallow your half truth as if a god had spoken.
reminds me of how the communist and the nazis operated.
what do you expect from a bunch of people who can’t manage their e-mail accounts. well, at least this administration failure won’t have any long-term or life-changing effects.
No matter how much they spend on abstinence or any other sex education, it can’t compare to the hollywood and mtv over saturation of sex. It’s all about the green and sex sells and kids are going to pay a lot more attention to all the sexual images than any message put out by the government.
Isn’t this Bush The Smarter’s fault? Remember, if he’d pulled out in time we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in now. Bush The Dumber would never have been… well… you know… it’s that abstinence thing…
why the half-truths thinkprogress.org? afraid that your site wouldn’t be around if the full-truth came out?
why do you guys take advantage of the ignorance that is so abundant in liberals?
I guess just like Lenin you consider your followers useful fools, right?
how sad…
a bunch of idiots blaming Bush on programs that were created back in 1996….liberals don’t get more ignorant than this right Willy?
you might want to look at the study done of these programs before you blame Bush you anti-Bush cult members.
you might also want to look into the FACT that these programs were started by Congress, with the blessing of members from both parties.
you might also want to look into the fact that the study comes up with a very logical conclusion…..instead of just talking to children about abstinence in elementry and junior high, abstinence programs should also be taught during the high school years and college.
but thinkprogress.org is NOT interested in telling its liberal ignorant audience about these facts, it is only interested in smearing anything that it believes was created by conservatives.
typical nazi and communist tactics in order to control the super ignorant masses.
There were over 21 million 15-19 year olds in the U.S. in 2000 — I think 210,000 (1%) more waiting for sex until marriage would be a “significant†improvement TO society, not just those teens and their parents. YMMV.
Good point, Captain Kirk — I would even take a 1% improvement on the dismal stats for now. Maybe instead of spending more money on sex education, we could use the money to pay kids NOT to have sex?
as long as we’re all clear that this has nothing to do with taking money from planned parenthood and funneling it to “faith based” abstinence programs that are run by people who donate big money to republicans
is that the best you’ve got? are you so ignorant and so easily fooled that you can’t respond to the FACTs….
1)The study looked at programs from 1996….NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION.
2)The study concluded that in order to improve abstinence programs, these should also be taught in high school and in college.
I am sure you liberals don’t care whether your 14 year old daughter is having sex with a 50 year old becausee YOU taught them that it was ok to have sex with whom ever, when ever, but of course, safe sex, right?

Oh, Cap’n… from page 2 of the report (page 26 of the pdf):
“The report is based on survey data collected in 2005 and early 2006 — four to six years after study enrollment…”
For the record, Franken apologized for “any discomfort” caused to conservative leaders, stating that they would receive a letter of apology, such as the one he wrote to Attorney General John Ashcroft after asking him for his personal story about remaining abstinent before marriage, especially since Franken used Kennedy School of Government letterhead and deliberately tried to mislead Ashcroft:
“In the letter, I indicated that I wanted your story for a book about abstinence-only sex education entitled ‘Savin’ It!’ I claimed that I had already received testimonies from several conservative leaders, which I had not,” he wrote.
“The letter was sent as part of a satirical book I’m working on, which will contain only one or two chapters dealing with abstinence-only sex education.”
In June, Franken wrote to Ashcroft requesting his personal story, adding that he had already received testimonials from National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson and values guru William J. Bennett, among others.
In encouraging Ashcroft to submit his story, Franken asked the attorney general to reveal honest and personal details about his younger days.
“Don’t be afraid to share a moment when you were tempted to have sex, but were able to overcome your urges through willpower and strength of character. Be funny!” Franken wrote. “Did a young woman ever think you were homosexual just because you wouldn’t have sex with her? Be serious! Were you ever taunted and made to feel bad or ‘uncool’ because of your choice? But most of all, be real. Kids can sense a phony a mile away.”
That’s right, who cares about statutory rape anymore — just a barrel of laughs now a days — here’s to Minnesota’s next SENATOR!!!!!
Captain Crok: “thinkprogress.org being dishonest…
this study only looks at the first four early programs that came out in 1996. It doesn’t look at later programs.
OK, then please enlighten us. Let’s have the data from later programs. That’s all you have to do to win an argument with most of us. Now, I’m talking about legitimate data. I don’t want a “some people say” kind of thing you might get from one of your christian propaganda sites. You claim there are later programs which would help us to greater understanding of this issue. LET’S SEE THE DATA!
Duh – Paul Wolfawitz is about to lose his job because he couldn’t keep his pants zipped and we expect teenagers to just say no to their raging hormones. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Indeed it has. But it does give ReichWingNuts and ChristoFascistTerrorists comfort in knowing that their religion does not require them to think for themselves. That would be too scary.
Maybe there is a middle ground kirk. Maybe we can look at abstinence as the preferred option, but we educate youth on the subject and teach them how to avoid pregnancy and STDS. Maybe we can address the constant barrage of images the media throws at children which encourage sexual activity. Maybe we can see who is making money from encouraging sexual activity. Mabye we can look at cultural issues. Look at the entire picture. What has changed from when teens used to rarely have sex, and why it has changed so much. There is not one area to blame.
If the parenting is good, and the teen has an open line of communication with the parent, the odds of risky behavior diminish significantly. If the parent is authoritarian, and black and white, the teen won’t want to talk to the parent. We alienate the teens by demanding they just don’t do something, and it encourages them to do it more since the authorities have told them not to. If we stop talking down to them and engage them on the level, they will have a dialogue with us about it. We can address the reasons for this behavior.
That all would be too complicated and inconvenient for the average Repuke. They would rather just force thier will on them.
the trolls have crapped all over this thread. The mention of SEX gets them all psychotic. They think everything should be faith based instead of reality based.
Two radical right nutcases debating each other about the nit-picky details of another failed Bush policy on a left-leaning blog–I think I need a drink. Where are Pastor Ted Haggard and Mark Foley when you need them?
#41 Your post was full of common sense. Hopefully our next president will have just a little of that and get rid of abstinence only Russian roullette sex ed.

Did you read the article. It stated abstinence only programs don’t work. And to prove you are the most vile troll around you throw in your disgusting opinion about young girls and old men.
I can’t wait until your computer gets seized you filthy old man. Your the only pedophile that’s brought up the subject of old men having sex with young girls. Of course your into that whole “chastity ball” thing where fathers treat their daughters like property and make them swear to only “do daddy” until they’re married.
Young girls getting all dressed up so daddy can give them a ring and god know what else you perverts do.
And your the biggest NAZI I’ve ever seen post around her so stop projecting you piece of filth.
At least ONE of the programs (ReCapturing the Vision) used a 2003 textbook, so I’m not sure any President deserves the sole blame here. Obviously, anything that is not working with these in-depth attempts (more important, of course, is reaching more students through the regular sex-ed course rather than just a few students with 2-4 year elective programs).
Jake the Joke was deeply troubled by Franken’s satire in Lies and Lying Liars. As Franken says, “satire is still satire, even if the object of the satire doesn’t get satire.”
Jake, I suspect nobody here is surprised that you don’t get Franken’s intelligent brand of humor. I’m certainly not surpised. Satire is humor for intelligent people.
Let me guess: you thought the title of his previous book, “Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot, and other thoughts,” was a cruel attack on fat people, right?
If the parenting is good, and the teen has an open line of communication with the parent, the odds of risky behavior diminish significantly. I think the same negative effects can happen when parents are too laid back with their children. I’m talking about the parents that want to be best friends with their kids and not parents. I was watching the movie Mean Girls on TBS the other night and the mom on that fits the best friend definition of the parent perfectly, her kid treated her like garbage. I used to have a friend that had a mom like that and she was having sex at 14. I agree that parents can’t just be authoritarian with kids, but they also need to set the line of who the parent is.
Captian Crok, again, you posted that there were more recent tests or studies which would show new data which would inform our opinions. You’re here to educate us. Let’s have the data.
I’m sure you don’t want people to get the opinion that you’re just pulling this stuff out of your nether regions.
Don’t worry about them, Captain Kirk — you were right that these were programs started during the Clinton Administration – they will simply continue to pretend such facts don’t exist.
Of those industrialized countries that keep such records, the one that has the LOWEST Abortion rate is the Netherlands, followed closely by Belgium. They have excellent health care and sex education . Suppose we compare that with Mississipi.
That’s right, who cares about statutory rape anymore — just a barrel of laughs now a days — here’s to Minnesota’s next SENATOR!!!!!

Oh sure, Mr. I Have the Same Sense of Humor as Jon Stewart. Isn’t that what you were bragging about you idiot. Try the same sense of humor as Dickless Cheney.
And he will be Minnesota’s next senator. Live with it.
And for that matter, how many of TP’s resident trolls practiced abstinance and have never committed adultery? I’m thinking not that many.
Comment by Ann — April 13, 2007 @ 6:07 pm
They’re all virgins. I wish they could get laid just once then maybe they’d get the eff out of here. Maybe we should all chip in and get them hookers so they’d at least know what everybody else is talking about. What a bunch of losers.
For the record, I don’t think most Americans want our country to end up like the Netherlands, and Al Franken is no Jon Stewart — Stewart is comedy gold!!!

I don’t think you have to worry about the Cap’n. He just stuck his butt in the door, cut his monster fart and left snickering. He didn’t stay around to deal with the stink.
At least Jake stays around to deal with — nay, wallow in — it. My guess is that Jake loves the smell of his own farts.
Jake…I didn’t say our country should end up like the Netherlands…I implied our ABORTION rate should end up like the Netherlands. I don’t see how even pro-lifers would have a problem with that.
Captian Crok, I’m still waiting for your more updated information on newer studies which show TP to be dishonest here. Evidently, you’re searching. Let me suggest advanced search in google — abstinence on the top line and “programs since 2001″ in the next line. I’m sure you can come up with something to show us that you’re not just blowing it out your *ss.

Have you ever been to the Netherlands? WTF are you talking about.
I don’t think Americans want our country to end up like Texas or Mississippi – and to be run by ignorant anti-american redneck *ssh*les like you.
Americans have a higher opinion of the Netherlands, than they do of f*cking losers like you – that’s for sure!
Jake the Joke: “For the record, I don’t think most Americans want our country to end up like the Netherlands…”
Right, Joke. Universal Healthcare, free college for all qualified students, a robust public school system, no drug war and no war in Iraq would be such a horrendous thing.
Jake, you really are a joke. And, if you know anything about Jon Stewart, you’d know that he couldn’t stand you.
I don’t think most Americans want our country to end up like the Netherlands -Jake.
Yeh we can’t have trolls like Seixon.
Yeh, we wouldn’t want to live in a peaceful country now would we. We should spend billions on wars and blowing up countries that had no WMD or attacked America on 9/11. We should not be like the Netherland who doesn’t attack oil rich countries now should we?
And, I once thought KRank was worthy of debate. Oh well, if anyone NOT on the “Ignore List†has a question for me, you know the drill. Comment by Jake — April 13, 2007 @ 6:38 pm
What would you know about debate, or worthiness, you lying coward piece of sh*t terrorist, that calls for blowing up the NYTImes building? Debating with you, is like debating with Osama. You’re a loser, coward, fringe lunatic – nothing more.
America doesn’t want you, doesn’t need you, and doesn’t want you here – LEAVE NOW *SSH*LE!
Poor Jake the Joke. He’s invented this fake “ignore list” which allows him to ignore those who point out what an a-hole he is. And, the joke is that once you’re on the list, he can’t respond to any of your insults. I suggest that anyone who doesn’t like Joke’s posts to get on the list. It’s simple. You just post something like, “Jake, go f*ck yourself.”

That’s called within the “margin of error”, a place you LIVE – IN ERROR.
How do those parents feel about their sons being 6 times more likely to engage in An*l intercourse, or the increase in STDs and unwanted pregnancies from high risk sex?
Jake thinks kids just need to “try harder” to not have sex. Jake you mentally brain dead piece of sh*t. There’s a reason why CHILDREN were forced into marriage at an early age. People want and even NEED to have sex. Something I’m sure a DOWN LOW closet case like you understands. How much does it cost for METH and MAN WH*RES these days Jake?
“For the record, I don’t think most Americans want our country to end up like the Netherlands…â€
No, we should let the GOP use our taxpayer money to support terrorists in Iraq and purchase a welfare country of millions of people that hate us right Jake? We should blow up their old delapidated power plants and other structures so we can BUY them new stuff with our tax dollars right Jake? We should free these poor people and then support them thru welfare and ignore our own people, right Jake?
It’s too bad we can’t even afford more than $50 million for this program, -Jake
Yeh, maybe because it’s a failed REPUBLICAN program passed when the REPUBLICANS controlled congress?
But then again JAKE it’s more important to spend much more than this DAILY on DOD contracts to create weapons to kill and maim? To shoot Camels up the butt is surely worth a million dollars right Jake!!
I guess I’ve joined the illustrious company of those on the Ignore Listâ„¢ who have successfully compelled Jake to break his own moratorium and respond.
BFD.
But he didn’t deny that he loves the smell of his own farts. Probably Cap’n Kirk’s too.
rapidbunny, if you were asking where I got data on abortion rates and teenage pregnancy by state, that information is at the CDC. I think the site is http://www.cdc.gov. You have to search through the site for the data, but it’s there. In my opinion, the reason rates are higher in red states has to do with education and religion. Generally, in blue states you have more education and less religion.

Aren’t you amused at the force by which these wacko wingnuts ‘believe’, without ‘knowing’ anything? They don’t have facts, knowledge, or reason – but they ‘believe’ they know the answer. What a bunch of losers.
Thanks, I will look at it.
Comment by rabidbunny — April 13, 2007 @ 6:52 pm
A better question is how can you possible believe you’re an informed person who’s qualified to comment on this topic and NOT know this? Typical republican. Actually what’s atypical about you is that you ‘claimed’ you’ll look at it. Most of you j*ck*sses act like Jake, and simply refuse to look at any ‘facts’ that might educate you.
Then again, I’d wager you’ll look at this link and learn nothing, and forget you even saw it by tomorrow so you won’t have to change your mind.
For the record, if I refer to anyone on the “Ignore List” in the third person or post anything that could be inferred as not ignoring said person(s), real or fictional, that is not intended to be a response to actual persons, living or dead, but rather for the benefit of those NOT on the “Ignore List.” YMMV.

It’s not that blue states have less religion, it’s that they have fewer religious *nuts* like JakeOff and rabidrat.
The blue states are plenty religious, they just are more secular in their politics, and more reasonable in their practice of religion. It’s interesting how the blue states have lower divorce rates than red states as well – for similar reasons. There’s a reasonable attitude in the blue states that just doesn’t exist in the uptight, rigid and out of touch red state, redneck parts of the country. Men in the red states in particular believe it’s their right (think JakeOff) to be an *ssh*le to women, so they get divorced (like Jake will surely experience) more often to escape these *ssh*les.
Sorry, lurkers, but it seems as if my post with half a dozen links about all the problems in the Netherlands did not get through. If you have a question about that, let me know. Maybe next time.

And I’m sure all of your “lurker” fan base appreciate the efforts you go to in order to keep them ill-informed.
For the record, at least six people who have posted on this thread are not on the “Ignore List”, so it’s not just lurkers — but I understand that those who remain lurkers, by definition, cannot post their questions — so please accept my apologies if I seem to explain these things over and over.
Personally, I don’t think rapidbunny posting his intent to go to cdc.gov and look for facts to be an opportunity to slam him, but that’s just me.
But, thanks VVGFU, you’re certainly correct about blue states. There is a lot of religion in every state and your distinction is obviously closer to the truth. Educated religious people tend to have a better understanding of the value of secular government.
Jake the joke, are you still here? Why are you still here? We don’t care about your silly rules and how you impliment them. You’re pathetic and clueless. You just have no idea how absurd you look to people around here.
Jake….I’m not on your ignore list because I don’t indulge in calling posters Names …like Lurkers. You are ignoring my point by focusing on the Netherlands. America has problems…The Netherlands has problem….but this is about Abortion Rates. So…why does good health care and sex education result in MUCH Lower Abortion Rates, while religiously based abstinence only states with many obstacles to choice , have higher rates of abortion, teenpregnancy, and StDs???
I think he’s too ignorant to even know what ignore†really means. For the record. Comment by KRank — April 13, 2007 @ 7:27 pm
I’m not sure he knows what *list* means. He thought that Google had a million references to deaths on people’s honeymoons, just because each of those keywords combined brought back a million links. What an idiot!

For the record, people don’t care about what a *coward* you are, that you need an *ignore-list* because you don’t have the b*lls to handle criticism. We’re used to that kind of *insecurity*, it’s very GWB of you.
People who remain lurkers *can* post their questions, they choose not to. There’s no restrictions on anonymous posts – idiot.
You don’t *explain* anything, you simply refuse to deal with reality, and ignore people that force you to deal with it. It’s what psychopaths, losers, and little boys with sh*t for brain parents that never teach them how to have any personal responsibility in the world behave.
Poor Jake, poor abused Jake, he comes to a forum of progressives, and can’t handle the heat…. Wahhh, poor little WHINY jake. It’s a good thing you really are 12, and aren’t a Veteran Jake – because your fellow soldiers would have fragged a st*pid little p*ssy like you.
The only ways to get on the “Ignore List” are personal attacks AND/OR refusing to answer my questions. I see no need to respond politely to someone who cannot give me the same Common Courtesy.
Let’s hope that Jake and Capt Kirk set a good example for all and remain abstinent. Lord knows idiots like that should be discouraged from reproducing.
And both Jenna and Barbie Bush are proof positive that abstinence-only programs dont work. Jenna is probably still digesting semen from her trip to Argentina.
VVGFU, there is something tragic or possibly tragicomic about a conservative who comes on to a liberal site and starts announcing which people he will argue with and which he won’t. It’s cluelessness to a pathological degree.
For the record, Maine has turned down Fed $$$ for sex education because of the abstinence requirement. And Maine has one of the lowest teen pregnancy rates in the country. Coincidence? No. Common sense sex education? Yes.

Once again, Jake the COWARD comes here, acts like an *ss, and thinks he’s being butch by ignoring the responses of those that put his pansy *ss in its place.
You’re pathetic Jake, just pathetic. What a coward. Thank goodness our country didn’t have to rely on wusses like you to fight our wars, we’d be speaking inuit.
To quote the late Stephen Ambrose…” Men have a brain and a penis, and enough blood to run one at a time”. Applying a moral solution to a biological problem has resulted in America’s staggeringly High Abortion Rate. There ARE ways to indulge in SAFE SEX….and it is a big mistake to keep Americans ignorant of such methods.
Jake, if you really believe in abstinence, abstain from posting. Your spludge all over the blogs is very unsightly from your continual jakeing off.
For anyone else NOT on the “Ignore List†think back to when you were in high school — would you have pledged to not have sex for $1,000? Comment by Jake — April 13, 2007 @ 9:28 pm
That would be useful in getting a date! And since buying a condom would invalidate the money, what better excuse to have unprotected sex and catch or spread an STD.
You’re an idiot Jake. People like you are why abortions exist. Too bad for our country, that your mother didn’t exercise her RIGHT to have one.
As I have said above, I do not think sex within marriage is perverted at all. If anyone NOT on the “Ignore List” has a question about that, please let me know.

What if it’s An*l and involves bondage? Does that turn you on?
What about sex with yourself?
What about if your wife divorces you, then what do you do?
What if you fantasize about another woman (or man)?
Because you falsely claim to be a Christian, and the ‘bibbble’ is very clear that either of these acts means you’re going to h*ll. So I guess you better get your passport ready!
For anyone else NOT on the “Ignore List†think back to when you were in high school — would you have pledged to not have sex for $1,000? Comment by Jake
Will it work? I doubt it. Would I have pledged not to have sex? Probably. But that is like promising to break your promise.
Humans, Jake, are creatures of emotion and feeling. Words make us angry, feelings create desire and angst. War is surely a product of hate. Can you Jake promise to go to war for 1,000 dollars? Can you promise not too ever get angry for 1,000 bucks? Can you promise to never love (non-sexual) for 1,000 greenbacks?
So then Jake, money is not a solution to war or sex. Humanity is, by nature destructive yet loving. How so can one come to know emotion but not dwell upon it? Can one teach higher thinking at a young age? How can man come to realize that he is but slightly compressed matter and that what is real isn’t really that real? That man is but a very small insignificant thing when viewed from afar?
But this is the truth, but man cannot forego that what he really is, it’s like virtual reality. Sure I can accept that, and its a tough battle to realize that your thoughts are much bigger than our material world.
That, really, then is the problem, what then is the solution? fear? Might? Spankings? Education? Realization? Rewards?
hmmm. teaching kids to put a dollar amount on sex/virginity. using tax dollars to pay for it. and not having any way of making sure the kids are keeping up their end of the deal. now that’s a great plan. if there was only some way to involve halliburton and a no-bid contract…
#115 No way. I was a male teenager. Of course I wouldn’t give up sex for $1000. Do you remember being a teenager (and I am being very generous in assuming you aren’t one)? Hormones rule the 16-18 year old boy.
For the record, there are plenty of ways to make sure someone stayed a virgin prior to collecting the $1,000 — as just one example, an OB/GYN can examine the hymen on females, although that’s not 100% and obviously no similar visual examination is possible for males so maybe something like a tracking device will be needed for certain. If anyone NOT on the “Ignore List” wants to discuss this, or other options, let me know.
In addition, $1000 was quite a bit more money in 1949 than today. How about $10,000 % $50 million = 5000 kids we could save get to spend more time and effort studying, basically paying for all but the most expensive 4 year colleges.
While this government report looked at only four specific sex-ed programs, there are other studies, including this one from Texas A&M that shows abstinence works: Students more likely to abstain:
Also for the record, I started posting more than 8 hours ago, so whoever claimed I was “obviously” a paid troll since I am on 8-hour shifts was just proven wrong as well.
Anyone NOT on the “Ignore List” wants to discuss the specifics of how an OB/GYN can examine the hymen on females, or any other possible options, let me know.

If anyone NOT on the “Ignore List†wants to discuss this, or other options, let me know. Comment by Jake — April 13, 2007 @ 10:49 pm
Using your approach, males are 6 times more likely to engage in An*l intercourse, and other unsafe acts. You heard it here folks, Jake prefers young people *die*, so he can be sure his little flower isn’t sniffed.
What a loser.
Poor little pathetic thing, so little *control* in his life (reminiscent of Aphrodite’s eating disorder), the only thing he cant *control* is his little pathetic list of cowardly refusal to stand up for what he believes. What a little whiny loser!
Sorry Jake, but real men fight wars, not coward pansies like you.
#123 Those gyno exams won’t be very inexpensive either. You really are one of those big government conservatives. Comment by JPark — April 13, 2007 @ 11:12 pm
So one bicycle accident, and a woman is soiled and she loses her $1000? How do we know the boy remains a virgin, or are your control issues solely around keeping little *girls* pure?
I hate to inform you of this, but your *values* are identical to the right wing Iranian government. That’s why re-attachment surgeries for young girls is one of the most common operations in Iran.
You’re a crazy old terrorist Jake. Just move to Iran and get it over with. You don’t belong in a secular rational society.
Also for the record, I started posting more than 8 hours ago, so whoever claimed I was “obviously†a paid troll since I am on 8-hour shifts was just proven wrong as well. Comment by Jake — April 13, 2007 @ 11:03 pm
Based on how much sh*t you post, most likely they pay you per post, and not by the hour. It would be a very Republican *sweatshop* thing to do. So no, this proves nothing, but that you’re an idiot.
For the record, physical exams or other options are available for an*l sex as well. If anyone NOT on the “Ignore List” for personal attacks needs to discuss those options, let me know.
Back to human females, the hymen is a membrane, part of the vulva, which partially occludes the entrance to the vagina and which may be physically torn when the woman first engages in sexual intercourse. The human hymen can vary widely in thickness, shape, and flexibility. The presence of an intact membrane is often seen as physical evidence of virginity, but its absence might not indicate the opposite.
In the majority of women, the hymen is sufficiently vestigial as to pose no obstruction to the entryway of the vagina. The presence of a broken hymen may therefore indicate that the vagina has been penetrated but also that it was broken via physical activity or the use of a tampon, etc. Many women possess such thin, fragile hymens, easily stretched and already perforated at birth, that the hymen can be broken, or merely disappear, in childhood, without the woman’s even being aware of it.
In contrast to the common cases of an absent or partial hymen, in rare cases a woman may possess an imperforate hymen, such as prevents the release of menstrual discharge. A surgical procedure known as hymenotomy which creates an opening in the hymen is sometimes required to avert deleterious health effects.
The presence of a fully intact hymen, however, is an indication, but no guarantee, of virginity, given that it is speculated that some degree of sexual activity may occur without rupturing the hymen and the availability of hymenorrhaphy surgical procedures to repair or replace the hymen. That seems like a big effort just to collect $1,000.
#136 You notice he only wants young women inspected and criminalized.
To be fair his fascist plan could only apply to women considering it is impossible to tell if a man is a virgin unless he has an STD. Kinda screws the old pay for no play plan he’s got there. Guess he didn’t think it through.
Could somebody please tell me how you can stretch ‘abstinence -only’ into an entire course?
It seems to me that the program should last about 15 seconds.
” Hi kids.
Don’t have sex.
You can’t get sexualy transmitted diseases if you don’t have sex.
You can’t get pregnant if you don’t have sex.
So don’t have sex, mmmkay?”
–should pretty well cover all an abstinence-only program.
I don’t get it.
Do they spend the rest of the time showwing pictures and saying, “This is the female geniral orifice. Guys, don’t put your thing in there! And especially don’t rub against thhat part! That’s especially bad!” and “Girls, this is a male reproductive organ. Don’t let it go there! Especially not if it’s attached to an actual boy!”
Do they do that?
I would want 50/50 split on the “reward” money between males and females — I’m sure there are ways to confirm male virginity although even I admitted it was easier for females — as I recall, in Roman times, the Vestal Virgins remained celibate for 30 years on penalty of death. They didn’t even need $1,000. To everyone NOT on the “Ignore List” have a good night.
For the record, Christianity has been preaching the virtues of celibacy, virginity, and marital faithfulness for about 2000 years, and they have yet to convince their own flock to stick by their rules.
Insisting on a course of action that has been proven inadequate so consistently for so long is the height of supreme stupidity.
#146 I thought he was your run of the mill sh!t-disturber. It really seems he is an authoritarian follower. He is all for any and all fascist pogroms. I truly believe he would be right at home in the SS.
#150 valiant venus used to post as Mighty Aphrodite. She is one sick person and has been around for ages. I have heard that someone tracked her down by her IP and got info on her. I don’t know if that happened. I still think she is a tranny. If you really want to know if they are vets get a real vet to question them. They can usually tell.
In other words, I think the guy is not a troll. I think he actually believes the psychotic crap he spews.
Comment by JPark
I think he’s both, JPark. He’s an authoritarian follower, shit-scared to ever think for himself, and a frickin’ troll. He’d be very happy to recruit all of us into his zombie world.
#152 He certainly would love to recruit us into his death-cult but he believes too strongly to be a salesman. He can’t soften his image so as to be a good salesman for it no matter how much he tries. He is a failure as a recruiter but darned good at being a footsoldier.
The rest of TP posters here seems to know that she is actually an anorexic 23 year old girl, is that true?
It is true. She used to comment here as Mighty Aphrod*te (sorry about the *, I’ll be deleted, otherwise), a high-priced defense lawyer, who owned her own firm, veteran, wife, mother, Christian, Jew, all things to all people. She tipped the scales when she recounted an adorable (in her sick mind) story about her dead child. We always knew she was a phony, and this story enraged those of us who are parents, as well as many others.
Someone — possibly ValiantVenusGrewFromUranus — finally tracked down her MySpace page and outed her. She disappeared for a while, but then showed up again as valiant venus. At first she denied she was MA, but eventually admitted it.
She still clings to her lies about being a lawyer and veteran, and claims not to have told the funny story about her dead kid. We know better.
Next time VVGFU is around, ask him to post the link to the MySpace. I think he’s the one who has it.
I am sure the “lurkers†see it differently, though. :)
Comment by JPark
Just who are the lurkers supposed to be? I’ve seen that several times, but since I’m on the Ignore List (eyes rolling), I’m not going to bother asking Jake.
I’m not sure Jake really cares about recruiting to his death cult (like that!), I think he just really must, absolutely must be right at all times. Like a really old Exley.
So he’s either married to a woman who is tiny, hopeless and shrunken down to nothing, or he’s married to a woman worse than him. I hope it’s the latter. :D
#154 Oh, wow, I was deleted for saying her name? TP needs a software upgrade. That is pathetic. She is still a junk toting tranny.
Comment by JPark
Yep, I saw your comment for a minute, but then it was gone. Using MA’s full name will get you gone everytime. I guess TP hasn’t picked up the new name. Oy.
What if I wanted to talk about Greek gods and goddesses? It COULD come up and you cannot talk about Greek mythology without mentioning the Goddess of Love.
#159 Uh, don’t they have a moderator that actually reads the threads? Toodles is a dead givaway. A guy who hasn’t been on for a couple of months spotted it right away today.

Actually, I don’t think they have a moderator. They have a filter of some sort — I call it the f*ck filter. I used to always get caught in it, not sure why. :)
Depends on what you mean by taste. I find Michelle Malkin attractive. King cobras are beautiful creatures. I wouldn’t let any of their fangs near my throat.
I wouldn’t let any of their fangs near my throat.
Comment by JPark
To me, a person can be attractive until they open their mouth and the bile spills out, then they are ugly. No matter how they look. It works the opposite way, too.
#174 I somewhat agree. I can look at a picture and be physically attracted but if they spew neocon talking points…it kinda spoils it. They are ugly because personality overrides looks.
“Maybe because we are not serious about it? How many times did the Wright Brothers fail before flying? Thomas Edison before the light bulb worked?”
How many times did it take me to eat 100 chocolate cookies in 1 minute?
Maybe christians should look at how we biologically function…………, and I know, but god gave us free will!!!
I posted twice yesterday links that show CA and NY, blue states, have the highest abortion rates by far while Idaho and Wyoming, red states, had the lowest. It also showed the vast majority of states with rates under 10 were red states. However, neither post showed up. I find that a little odd.
Alright fess up. When did you all lose it. Far as I know since my grandmothers generation, the age of lost virginity hasn’t changed all that much. I was 15. I am now in my 40’s. Given the chance to relive those years, I’d do the same. Why are we so hung up? I hope the young people we have asked to kill and die overseas throughout the years have enjoyed the gift of sexual contact wed or unwed. Can’t possible hurt a young soul anymore than asking them to kill or die or both. By the way the Dare program doesn’t work either.
VVGFU(aka Mighty Moron); You’re busted. You are no more a veteran or a lawyer any more than I am Donald Trump. Go away you skank whore.

Uncle Ho,
VVGFU and valiant venus are not the same person. Valiant venus used to be Mighty Aphrod*ite, and VVGFU is her personal “troll.” :-)

Oh, the great and moral times of the romans. Did you know that roman emperors used to have giantic orgies as fundraisers, and well, the senators that not attended, paying a HIGH amount of money, entered in The List ™ of the Emperor itself? (That meaning that some days later, the praetorian guard were knocking at the unpatriotic’s senator door asking for his head in a platter).
If you think REAL HARD, you might happen upon the populations of the mentioned states.
CA – 36,132,147
NY – 19,254,630

WY – 509, 294
Duh.
No matter how hard you try, rabid idiot, you can’t make this a red state/blue state thing.
Comment by Zooey
I hate to burst your bubble, but the numbers were based on rate, meaning per 1000 people. Wyoming had 2 per 1000 people and NY and CA had 37 and 39 per 1000 people.
Maybe because we are not serious about it? How many times did the Wright Brothers fail before flying? Thomas Edison before the light bulb worked?

April 13th, 2007 at 5:27 pmIt’s too bad we can’t even afford more than $50 million for this program, and that 1% improvement isn’t “significant” too anyone (except maybe those teens and their parents ; )

April 13th, 2007 at 5:32 pmthinkprogress.org being dishonest…
this study only looks at the first four early programs that came out in 1996. It doesn’t look at later programs.
thinkprogress.org, typical liberal site…..half-truths, with a bunch of lies…the sad part is that the liberalbots and the anti-Bush cult members and the hate anything conservative club members will swallow your half truth as if a god had spoken.
reminds me of how the communist and the nazis operated.
sad, sad…..
April 13th, 2007 at 5:32 pmwhat do you expect from a bunch of people who can’t manage their e-mail accounts. well, at least this administration failure won’t have any long-term or life-changing effects.
April 13th, 2007 at 5:32 pmNo matter how much they spend on abstinence or any other sex education, it can’t compare to the hollywood and mtv over saturation of sex. It’s all about the green and sex sells and kids are going to pay a lot more attention to all the sexual images than any message put out by the government.
April 13th, 2007 at 5:34 pmIsn’t this Bush The Smarter’s fault? Remember, if he’d pulled out in time we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in now. Bush The Dumber would never have been… well… you know… it’s that abstinence thing…
April 13th, 2007 at 5:34 pmwhy the half-truths thinkprogress.org? afraid that your site wouldn’t be around if the full-truth came out?
why do you guys take advantage of the ignorance that is so abundant in liberals?
April 13th, 2007 at 5:36 pmThere were over 21 million 15-19 year olds in the U.S. in 2000 — I think 210,000 (1%) more waiting for sex until marriage would be a “significant†improvement TO society, not just those teens and their parents. YMMV.
April 13th, 2007 at 5:37 pmGood point, Captain Kirk — I would even take a 1% improvement on the dismal stats for now. Maybe instead of spending more money on sex education, we could use the money to pay kids NOT to have sex?
April 13th, 2007 at 5:39 pmas long as we’re all clear that this has nothing to do with taking money from planned parenthood and funneling it to “faith based” abstinence programs that are run by people who donate big money to republicans
April 13th, 2007 at 5:40 pm#13.
April 13th, 2007 at 5:41 pmYou are absolutely correct with this post.
Reminds me of Al Franken sending letters to all of these neocons asking for their “abstinence” stories.
He said it was for a book he was writing, called,
“Savin’ It”
Although he was very sincere in his request, none of them offered their tale of never having sex before marriage.

April 13th, 2007 at 5:52 pmFor the record, Franken apologized for “any discomfort” caused to conservative leaders, stating that they would receive a letter of apology, such as the one he wrote to Attorney General John Ashcroft after asking him for his personal story about remaining abstinent before marriage, especially since Franken used Kennedy School of Government letterhead and deliberately tried to mislead Ashcroft:

April 13th, 2007 at 5:57 pmMaybe there is a middle ground kirk.

I can’t wait until your computer gets seized you filthy old man. Your the only pedophile that’s brought up the subject of old men having sex with young girls. Of course your into that whole “chastity ball” thing where fathers treat their daughters like property and make them swear to only “do daddy” until they’re married.

April 13th, 2007 at 6:17 pmJake the Joke was deeply troubled by Franken’s satire in Lies and Lying Liars.

We alienate the teens by demanding they just don’t do something, and it encourages them to do it more since the authorities have told them not to. If we stop talking down to them and engage them on the level, they will have a dialogue with us about it. We can address the reasons for this behavior.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:17 pmHas anyone seen Cap’n Kirk? I think he owes TP an apology…
April 13th, 2007 at 6:19 pmso say all perverts……
Comment by Captain Kirk — April 13, 2007 @ 5:49 pm
Says the freak talking about 14 year old girls having sex with 50 year old men.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:19 pmCaptian Crok, again, you posted that there were more recent tests or studies which would show new data which would inform our opinions. You’re here to educate us. Let’s have the data.
I’m sure you don’t want people to get the opinion that you’re just pulling this stuff out of your nether regions.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:19 pmrapidbunny: “I agree that parents can’t just be authoritarian with kids, but they also need to set the line of who the parent is.”
I agree.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:21 pmDon’t worry about them, Captain Kirk — you were right that these were programs started during the Clinton Administration – they will simply continue to pretend such facts don’t exist.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:22 pmOf those industrialized countries that keep such records, the one that has the LOWEST Abortion rate is the Netherlands, followed closely by Belgium. They have excellent health care and sex education . Suppose we compare that with Mississipi.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:23 pmThat’s right, who cares about statutory rape anymore — just a barrel of laughs now a days — here’s to Minnesota’s next SENATOR!!!!!
Comment by Jake — April 13, 2007 @ 5:54 pm
Oh sure, Mr. I Have the Same Sense of Humor as Jon Stewart. Isn’t that what you were bragging about you idiot. Try the same sense of humor as Dickless Cheney.
And he will be Minnesota’s next senator. Live with it.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:24 pmAnd for that matter, how many of TP’s resident trolls practiced abstinance and have never committed adultery? I’m thinking not that many.
Comment by Ann — April 13, 2007 @ 6:07 pm
They’re all virgins. I wish they could get laid just once then maybe they’d get the eff out of here. Maybe we should all chip in and get them hookers so they’d at least know what everybody else is talking about. What a bunch of losers.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:29 pmFor the record, I don’t think most Americans want our country to end up like the Netherlands, and Al Franken is no Jon Stewart — Stewart is comedy gold!!!

And the Republican controlled Congress, did you forget about that moron. What’s Bush’s excuse. tje Republican controlled Copngress?
April 13th, 2007 at 6:33 pmCaptain Kirk: At least ONE of the programs (ReCapturing the Vision) used a 2003 textbook, so I’m not sure any President deserves the sole blame here. Obviously, anything that is not working with these in-depth attempts (more important, of course, is reaching more students through the regular sex-ed course rather than just a few students with 2-4 year elective programs).
Comment by Jake
ReCapturing the Vision. huh. William J Tauzin, Republican.
Another link from the Independent Jake about some Republican.

April 13th, 2007 at 6:34 pmFor the record, red states have higher rates of abortion, teenage pregnancy, child abuse and divorce than blue states. Interesting, huh?
April 13th, 2007 at 6:34 pmJake…I didn’t say our country should end up like the Netherlands…I implied our ABORTION rate should end up like the Netherlands. I don’t see how even pro-lifers would have a problem with that.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:36 pmCaptian Crok, I’m still waiting for your more updated information on newer studies which show TP to be dishonest here. Evidently, you’re searching. Let me suggest advanced search in google — abstinence on the top line and “programs since 2001″ in the next line. I’m sure you can come up with something to show us that you’re not just blowing it out your *ss.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:37 pmAnd, I once thought KRank was worthy of debate. Oh well, if anyone NOT on the “Ignore List” has a question for me, you know the drill.

April 13th, 2007 at 6:39 pmJake the Joke: “For the record, I don’t think most Americans want our country to end up like the Netherlands…”
Right, Joke. Universal Healthcare, free college for all qualified students, a robust public school system, no drug war and no war in Iraq would be such a horrendous thing.
Jake, you really are a joke. And, if you know anything about Jon Stewart, you’d know that he couldn’t stand you.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:40 pmI don’t think most Americans want our country to end up like the Netherlands -Jake.

What would you know about debate, or worthiness, you lying coward piece of sh*t terrorist, that calls for blowing up the NYTImes building? Debating with you, is like debating with Osama. You’re a loser, coward, fringe lunatic – nothing more.
America doesn’t want you, doesn’t need you, and doesn’t want you here – LEAVE NOW *SSH*LE!
April 13th, 2007 at 6:40 pmSo Jake first you say we should not blame one president for this failed RTV program which happens to be a REPUBLICAN program right??
April 13th, 2007 at 6:41 pmPoor Jake the Joke.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:43 pmIt’s too bad we can’t even afford more than $50 million for this program, and that 1% improvement isn’t “significant†too anyone (except maybe those teens and their parents ; ) Comment by Jake — April 13, 2007 @ 5:27 pm
April 13th, 2007 at 6:45 pm“For the record, I don’t think most Americans want our country to end up like the Netherlands…â€
April 13th, 2007 at 6:45 pmIt’s too bad we can’t even afford more than $50 million for this program, -Jake
April 13th, 2007 at 6:49 pmI guess I’ve joined the illustrious company of those on the Ignore Listâ„¢ who have successfully compelled Jake to break his own moratorium and respond.
BFD.
But he didn’t deny that he loves the smell of his own farts. Probably Cap’n Kirk’s too.
April 13th, 2007 at 6:50 pmrapidbunny, if you were asking where I got data on abortion rates and teenage pregnancy by state, that information is at the CDC. I think the site is http://www.cdc.gov. You have to search through the site for the data, but it’s there. In my opinion, the reason rates are higher in red states has to do with education and religion. Generally, in blue states you have more education and less religion.

April 13th, 2007 at 6:59 pmSorry, lurkers, but it seems as if my post with half a dozen links about all the problems in the Netherlands did not get through. If you have a question about that, let me know. Maybe next time.

But, thanks VVGFU, you’re certainly correct about blue states. There is a lot of religion in every state and your distinction is obviously closer to the truth. Educated religious people tend to have a better understanding of the value of secular government.
April 13th, 2007 at 7:20 pmJake the joke, are you still here? Why are you still here? We don’t care about your silly rules and how you impliment them. You’re pathetic and clueless. You just have no idea how absurd you look to people around here.
April 13th, 2007 at 7:22 pmJake….I’m not on your ignore list because I don’t indulge in calling posters Names …like Lurkers.

April 13th, 2007 at 8:18 pmTo quote the late Stephen Ambrose…” Men have a brain and a penis, and enough blood to run one at a time”. Applying a moral solution to a biological problem has resulted in America’s staggeringly High Abortion Rate. You’re an idiot Jake. People like you are why abortions exist. Too bad for our country, that your mother didn’t exercise her RIGHT to have one.

April 13th, 2007 at 9:40 pmFor anyone else NOT on the “Ignore List†think back to when you were in high school — would you have pledged to not have sex for $1,000? Comment by Jake
Yes you can pretend to ignore my post, but I know that you will still read it. In fact, Jake, there was a Texas politician who just promoted a tangent to and opposite from sex.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070324/od_nm/texas_abortion1_dc
Rewards?
April 13th, 2007 at 9:45 pmhmmm. teaching kids to put a dollar amount on sex/virginity. using tax dollars to pay for it. and not having any way of making sure the kids are keeping up their end of the deal. now that’s a great plan. if there was only some way to involve halliburton and a no-bid contract…
April 13th, 2007 at 9:59 pm#115 No way. I was a male teenager. Of course I wouldn’t give up sex for $1000. Do you remember being a teenager (and I am being very generous in assuming you aren’t one)? Hormones rule the 16-18 year old boy.
April 13th, 2007 at 10:47 pmFor the record, there are plenty of ways to make sure someone stayed a virgin prior to collecting the $1,000 — as just one example, an OB/GYN can examine the hymen on females, although that’s not 100% and obviously no similar visual examination is possible for males so maybe something like a tracking device will be needed for certain. If anyone NOT on the “Ignore List” wants to discuss this, or other options, let me know.
April 13th, 2007 at 10:49 pmIn addition, $1000 was quite a bit more money in 1949 than today. How about $10,000 % $50 million = 5000 kids we could save get to spend more time and effort studying, basically paying for all but the most expensive 4 year colleges.
April 13th, 2007 at 10:55 pmWhile this government report looked at only four specific sex-ed programs, there are other studies, including this one from Texas A&M that shows abstinence works: Students more likely to abstain:

April 13th, 2007 at 11:03 pmAlso for the record, I started posting more than 8 hours ago, so whoever claimed I was “obviously” a paid troll since I am on 8-hour shifts was just proven wrong as well.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:03 pm#123 Inspecting the hymen isn’t even close to 100%. So you would just not give the money to the virgin that liked to climb trees a lot?
By the way…a tracking device? Like they are criminals? Oh, and how much would that cost?
April 13th, 2007 at 11:05 pmAnyone NOT on the “Ignore List” wants to discuss the specifics of how an OB/GYN can examine the hymen on females, or any other possible options, let me know.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:05 pm#129 Aww, I am on your “I am too gutless to talk to” list? Crushed.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:09 pm#123 Those gyno exams won’t be very inexpensive either. You really are one of those big government conservatives.

April 13th, 2007 at 11:15 pm#123 Those gyno exams won’t be very inexpensive either.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:18 pmBy the way…a tracking device? Like they are criminals? Oh, and how much would that cost? Comment by JPark — April 13, 2007 @ 11:05 pm
You notice he only wants young women inspected and criminalized. Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah, the Taliban!
What a fringe lunatic JakeOff is!
The man is a flat out Taliban freak!
April 13th, 2007 at 11:19 pmFor the record, physical exams or other options are available for an*l sex as well. If anyone NOT on the “Ignore List” for personal attacks needs to discuss those options, let me know.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:20 pmBack to human females, the hymen is a membrane, part of the vulva, which partially occludes the entrance to the vagina and which may be physically torn when the woman first engages in sexual intercourse.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:22 pm#136 You notice he only wants young women inspected and criminalized.
To be fair his fascist plan could only apply to women considering it is impossible to tell if a man is a virgin unless he has an STD. Kinda screws the old pay for no play plan he’s got there. Guess he didn’t think it through.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:26 pmCould somebody please tell me how you can stretch ‘abstinence -only’ into an entire course?
Or do they spend the time saying, “No, really, don’t have sex. I mean it! No, it’s a really bad idea to have sex. Really bad idea. So don’t have sex. Listen to me, I’m serioys! Let me tell you how bad an idea it is to have sex: really bad. so don’t have sex. And I mean under no circumstances should you have sex. Zip. Nada. Zilch. No sex at all. Whatsoever. Don’t. Yeah, you! In the back! Don’t have sex! Yeah, I’m yalking to you! Sex: don’t do it. Not nobody, not nohow! Fugeddaboud it! Sex–uh-uh. Nope. No way, José! N-O No! Don’t. Just don’t…”
Is that how they fill it up?
April 13th, 2007 at 11:33 pm#140 Do they spend the rest of the time showwing pictures and saying, “This is the female geniral orifice.
No way!!! Ewwww, gross!!!
April 13th, 2007 at 11:36 pmI would want 50/50 split on the “reward” money between males and females — I’m sure there are ways to confirm male virginity although even I admitted it was easier for females — as I recall, in Roman times, the Vestal Virgins remained celibate for 30 years on penalty of death. They didn’t even need $1,000. To everyone NOT on the “Ignore List” have a good night.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:37 pmI think it’s appropriate on this thread to say — F*ck off, Jake.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:41 pm#140 Where is your test for male virginity? Where? You say you are sure there are ways but…no, there aren’t. Tool.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:41 pm#140 You are sick. “You b!tches better stay virgins til 30 or we will stone your a$$es”. Do you know how sick that sounds?
April 13th, 2007 at 11:44 pm#141 More than appropriate. He wants to kill women who are not virgins until 30.
April 13th, 2007 at 11:45 pmFor the record, Christianity has been preaching the virtues of celibacy, virginity, and marital faithfulness for about 2000 years, and they have yet to convince their own flock to stick by their rules.
Insisting on a course of action that has been proven inadequate so consistently for so long is the height of supreme stupidity.

Dude, that’s f*cked up.
:-D
April 14th, 2007 at 12:24 am#146 I thought he was your run of the mill sh!t-disturber. It really seems he is an authoritarian follower. He is all for any and all fascist pogroms. I truly believe he would be right at home in the SS.
April 14th, 2007 at 12:26 amIn other words, I think the guy is not a troll. I think he actually believes the psychotic crap he spews.
April 14th, 2007 at 12:28 amExcuse me if my post is off topic, but i’m curious about valiant venus.
The rest of TP posters here seems to know that she is actually an anorexic 23 year old girl, is that true?
If so how do you know can you tell me how?
Because there are many republican shills on youtube that claim to be veteran/ soldier/ whatever and i wonder if they are really who they claim to be.
April 14th, 2007 at 12:34 am#150 valiant venus used to post as Mighty Aphrodite. She is one sick person and has been around for ages. I have heard that someone tracked her down by her IP and got info on her. I don’t know if that happened. I still think she is a tranny. If you really want to know if they are vets get a real vet to question them. They can usually tell.
April 14th, 2007 at 12:38 amIn other words, I think the guy is not a troll. I think he actually believes the psychotic crap he spews.

I think he’s both, JPark. He’s an authoritarian follower, shit-scared to ever think for himself, and a frickin’ troll. He’d be very happy to recruit all of us into his zombie world.
He’s the ultimate creep.
April 14th, 2007 at 12:39 am#152 He certainly would love to recruit us into his death-cult but he believes too strongly to be a salesman. He can’t soften his image so as to be a good salesman for it no matter how much he tries. He is a failure as a recruiter but darned good at being a footsoldier.
April 14th, 2007 at 12:43 amI am sure the “lurkers” see it differently, though. :)
April 14th, 2007 at 12:46 amiamlgnd,
The rest of TP posters here seems to know that she is actually an anorexic 23 year old girl, is that true?
April 14th, 2007 at 12:49 amI am sure the “lurkers†see it differently, though. :)

April 14th, 2007 at 12:53 am#154 Oh, wow, I was deleted for saying her name? TP needs a software upgrade. That is pathetic. She is still a junk toting tranny.

April 14th, 2007 at 1:35 am#175 Yup, the old paradox. If she tells the truth she would have to be lying and if she lies she would have to be telling the truth.

April 14th, 2007 at 6:50 amI posted twice yesterday links that show CA and NY, blue states, have the highest abortion rates by far while Idaho and Wyoming, red states, had the lowest. It also showed the vast majority of states with rates under 10 were red states. However, neither post showed up. I find that a little odd.

April 14th, 2007 at 12:05 pmAlright fess up.
