Jake,
I know there are conspiracy theories about Ron Brown's death, but the truth is that everyone on the plane that crashed into a mountain died. As for Vince Foster, whose death you neoCONs bring up endlessly, even Kenneth Starr, certainly no friend to the Clintons, concluded, after investigations, there was nothing suspicious about it.
And please don't deny that you are a neoCON, even if you may be registered as Independent. I had a stepfather, actually registered as a Republican, who didn't follow the neoCON line as much as you do.
Finally, you naturally arouse some suscipion when you answer a question about Jeff Gannon's unexplained visits to the WH with “although the times I’ve been to the White House, I didn’t do anything immoral.” At that point the question wasn't about you, yet you answered it as if it was. I see: so now your visits were innocent "tours" like mine as a 10-yr. old, accompanied by her dad, eh?

Of course Bush made the decision to fire Iglesias! US Attorneys serve at the President's pleasure. Not the AG's pleasure or the Political Director's pleasure.

Bush made the personal decision to fire each and every one of the fiured USAs. The White House has been telling us it's his decision for months now. Let's accept that point, not accept that Bush didn't have anything to do with the exercise of Presidential powers!!!!

Jake Gannon, relentless liar, now tries to pretend that his many visits to the White House were on tours.

In the context of discussion Jeff Gannon, he said: “although the times I’ve been to the White House, I didn’t do anything immoral”.

Interesting that Jake Gannon didn't have the imagination to think up the "tour" dodge until after Lora mentioned her tour as a child. Then, suddenly, Jake Gannon was on a tour too. "Yeah.... that's the ticket... I was on a tour... and I was in the Lincoln bedroom... sleeping with Morgan Fairchild, yeah..."

I guess "tour" is the new euphamism. "Monica was touring the oval office" and "Jake Gannon toured the white house at the pleasure of the President. They were joined on the tour by Dick Cheney and Karl Rove." Ewwwwwww.

Bush Is Mobilizing The ENTIRE National Guard...

WASHINGTON, DC -- I have two subjects to deal with today. The first is the completely disastrous military situation in Iraq and the second deals with deliberately poisoned food in the United States. In the first matter, it will soon become public that Bush is going to extend the tours of duty for troops to 15 months or, with some clever interpretation of the rules, to 20 months.

The new "surge" troops are not properly armed; have absolutely no body armor, for example, and not is, or will be available, and the casualties are soaring.

Lora:

What part of my "touring" the White House didn't you understand then? Sorry if I confused you, but I have answered EVERY question you've asked. I assume you didn't do anything immoral when you were there as a 10 year-old child either -- that was my point -- as for "plane crashes", Secretary Brown was found in said plane with a BULLET HOLE to the head (do you think Teresa Heinz's husband died of such "multiple" causes too?).

hey KILO-twat.. care to give me the total amount of casualties in those attacks?
could you comepare that number to the amount of people who die from slipping in the tub every year?
Comment by Chocolate Jesus — April 16, 2007 @ 4:50 am

Why would I bother citing and comparing the number of innocent civilians purposefully and needlessly killed in terrorist attacks ?

Wouldn't it be easier to remind you only 24 innocent civilians were executed in the incident at Haditha and watch you STFU ?

also do you care to tell me how many people die in drunk driving accidents in america each month?
if that number is higher than the 3 digit number of casualties causes by post 9-11 terrorism should we declare war on drunk driving?

No. But again you are comparing accidental deaths to malicious acts intended to harm innocent civilians for political purposes.

Like blacks and jews killed by white supremacists in the US. Which since they account for an absolutely miniscule amount of dead should warrant an equally miniscule response in terms of prevention and prosecution, correct ?

also do you care to tell me how many people die from gun related deaths in america each month?

Far less that automobile accidents or prescription drugs. A good case that any restrictions on gun ownership beyond age are clearly unwarranted for these comparatively harmless appliances, no ?

if more people are hit by lightning that die from terrorists acts should we declare a war on lightning?

Well no, but now that you mention it the number of abortion clinic workers getting killed by right-wing extremists each year is less than the number of people killed by their own pets. So obviously no response necessary there either.

Thanks for sharing your perspective on this. Quite illustrative.

Did Carter personally decide to fire Marston?

hey Jake-off... Marston was pursuing a corruption case that lead back directly to the Whitehouse, like Carol Lam was, right? also, this wasnt just an isolated case, im sure Carter fired, say , seven more prosecutors who were either investigating high level democrat corruption or refused to prosecute flimsy allegations of republican corruption, right?

Yes, a documentary that reveals that terrorism is nothing more than PR hype and that al Qaeda isn’t an international terrorist organisation.

It’s hard to describe just how great such a documentary is when it’s worldwide release was a year after the Madrid train bombings and after al Qaeda had attacked targets in more than 10 countries. -

hey KILO-twat.. care to give me the total amount of casualties in those attacks?

could you comepare that number to the amount of people who die from slipping in the tub every year?

would you like to guess which is higher?

if slipping in the tub is a greater source of casualties should we declare war on slipping in the tub?

also do you care to tell me how many people die in drunk driving accidents in america each month?

if that number is higher than the 3 digit number of casualties causes by post 9-11 terrorism should we declare war on drunk driving?

also do you care to tell me how many people die from gun related deaths in america each month?

if that number is higher than the 3 digit number of casualties causes by post 9-11 terrorism should we declare war on firearms?

if more people are hit by lightning that die from terrorists acts should we declare a war on lightning?

your obviously pretty dense if you really beleive "the power of nightmares" was asserting that terrorism doesnt exist. its merely asserting that the threat is massively, massively overstated, and there is no "vast global islamic conspiracy" and that the radical islamic organizations that do exist are not unified, global, or well organized.

if you have any proof that any of the assertions made in the documnetary are incorrect, please point out the evidence. thanks. otherwise, im not impressed by attacks that take an amount of life equal to about one week worths of american traffic fatalities at most. im more scared of going out on the highways than i am of a "terrorist" attack.

if you have any proof that any of the assertions made in the documnetary are incorrect, please point out the evidence. thanks. otherwise, im not impressed by attacks that take an amount of life equal to about one week worths of american traffic fatalities at most. im more scared of going out on the highways than i am of a “terrorist” attack.

Ron Brown died in a plane crash.

Yeah, and if Jake wants to go into suspicious plane crashes, how about those that killed Democrat candidates for Senate Mel Carnahan in 2000 and Paul Wellstone in 2002? Or since Jake has a penchant for old news, there was the one that killed Watergate conspirator Howard Hunt Jr.'s wife Dorothy (with $10,000 in cash found in her handbag) in 1972.

Jake,
I believe I've played by your rules, but you still haven't answered my question of what you were doing visiting the WH. a number of times. (For the record, I visited there exactly once as a tourist with my father when I was 10 years old.)
As for your comment in #127, "was= wasn't," when you post something like that wihout even mentioning what post you are trying to correct, you can't expect people to know what you're referring to. Also, I believe that got cross-posted with my comment in #133.
Good night. I wonder if the morrow will see an answer to my question.

This was the third death of a high-ranking Administration figure during Clinton’s first term, after Vince Foster, and Ron Brown, who both suffered violent ends.

Jake,
For the record, I did not directly accuse you of being Gannon/Guckert; I only expressed my wonder at your sudden confession about having not done anything immoral during your various visits to the WH. You still haven't answered what you were doing there, if nothing immoral. I suppose I will be put on your ignore list if I paraphrase the Bard by saying "Methinks the troll doth protest too much."

Why bother? Your ignore list is a bunch of adolescent hooey. You responded to me, after putting me on your pathetic list, so I guess it's situational; if someone rattles your cage hard enough, like I did, you respond.

The “enemy” are the TERRORISTS who are trying to kill Americans — using that definition, please name one country where there are more of said enemy than Iraq?

Comment by Jake — April 16, 2007 @ 12:12 am

You really do need to learn international law, Jake. Those trying to kill Americans in Iraq are not "terrorists" they are, by definition, "insurgents." They are fighting an occupying force.

However, there is reason to believe that there are terrorists targeting Americans, in America. It is likely that members of the Bush Administration killed some 3,000 Americans on 9/11.

So, holding true to your definition, the enemy you seek to destroy is in the Bush White House.
