I have been listening to the testimony and watching the bolgosphere. Gonzales is on a slowboat to resignation. Even the Republicans are pushing him in the questioning. Even conservative bolggers at RedState are looking for a replacement.
This scum bag has had weeks to practice and coordinate his story with the rest of the republican mafia members, criminals all.
Just how many lies is he gonna tell today? He should be on a polygraph machine! He, as in ALL repukes, will never tell the truth about anything.
It’s like his boss has never told the truth about anything, why should he?
God I am tired of the trolls.
Maybe if all the Administration goes to jail they will slink off into the sunset? Something to look forward to.
Can’t wait to watch Gonzo explode. His contradictions are too apparent. And I don’t think that “I don’t remember” will hold up very well in his case – he’s supposed to have a memory to be a lawyer. At the very least he can be forced to retire.
I would much rather see him in Abu or Gitmo, preferably with Iraqui guards, but you can’t have everything.
If Gonzales had nothing to hide, then he would not have needed weeks of coaching to testify before the Congress. If someone is honest, then they can remember everything, but when someone lies, then they have to be careful that their concocted story stays together.
What a load of crap, putting this on Cspan 3. Clearly the cspan website can’t handle the load.
I think C-SPAN is contractually oligated to provide continuous coverage of the full Senate and House when they are in session on C-SPAN1 and C-SPAN2. The relegation to C-SPAN3 may reflect that. But they usually put this stuff back onto the main C-SPAN channels later.
At least Senator Leahy didn’t. The panel’s chairman admonished prominent activist Cindy Sheehan and members of the anti-war group “Code Pink” for holding up signs and obstructing people’s view in the chamber:
“Nobody is more protective of First Amendment rights than I, but if signs are being held up and are blocking the views of people, I don’t care whether signs are for the attorney general or opposed to the attorney general, if signs are being held up blocking the views of others who have just as much a right to be here as everyone else, the people doing that will be removed.”
I find it hilarious that Gonzo tried to use Fitz as an example of the Justice Department being free of partisanship – when we all know that James Comey was the one who set up the conditions of the Libby investigation, to make sure that his investigation was wide ranging, and immune to any attempts by the administration to limit its scope.
Damn! I’m going to miss it. Take good notes everyone!
Just look at that sleazeball’s face. He’s thinking, “I hope I remember all my lies.”
