there’s precious little george’s “support” can do for wolfie… the floodgates have been opened, releasing a wall of water that’s been building ever since bush announced his nomination… say g’nite, wolfie…

And, yes, I DO take it personally

  2. JG says:

  3. Zooey says:

Just get the f*ck out of there, Wolfie.
    Damn, you’re embarassing yourself.

  4. david says:

It’s the End of the American Empire. First, the EU, next will come ALBA, and then add China and India. Whoa. I’m sure the GOP will be waxing nostalgic for the days of the Cold War. Go, Europe. Take back the International Community.

  5. Crump's Brother says:

    I CAN HEAR IT NOW!!!

“Your doin’ a heck of a job Wolfie!!”

  6. Jeffrey Stewart says:

I can’t really understand why anyone would vote for wolfie to stay. What is WRONG with those people? Geez!

  7. Wank Matthews says:

Wolfowitz serves at the pleasure of the President…

  8. hellinabucket says:

    Kudos to the EU.

  11. JosephP says:

Does this mean that he has to resign? If he refuses to go and the President supports him, does that trump all else?

Yep… They no longer tolerate us, or worry about the consequences of standing up to us. They no longer care what we think about them, or see the benefits in their silence. (By ‘we’ and ‘us’, I only mean the Bush Adminstration).

  13. And You Thought REAGAN Was Stupid says:

Bush doesn’t care if Wolfowitz has any support. Heck, Bush himself has almost no support for his failed war against Iraq, yet he keeps sending troops to die over there.

  14. JG says:

And I guess Mr Wolfowitz’s partner, Shaha Riza serves at the pleasure of Mr. Wolfowitz..
I cannot believe the stupidity of these people and how they really believe they can do whatever they please without answering to anyone..
    It boggles the mind.

  15. Squidbilly says:

Wolfowitz under fire (what was this nit wit thinking???)

    Rove under investigation (finally)

    Rice Possible subpoena (finally)

A heckuva day for the Bush administration. Couldn’t happen to a better group of people!

  16. unbelievable says:

The reason they think they can get away with this corrupt behavior is because they have…

Kucinich just threw a wrench into their little delusion… At least Cheney’s anyway. :)

  17. Namtillaku says:

Now if we could only get them to vote on Chimpy & Testy.

  18. VerbalKint says:

The Bush team no doubt views this as just another successful step in their efforts to destroy any last shred of credibility or respect for our government. Heckuva job, Bush supporters and lackeys, heckuva job.

When is the rest of the world going to save us from this oppressive dictatorship?

Sir, he has been infected by the virus of corruption, it seems to be going around. We need to innoculate against this.

and in an even more extraordinary move the European Parliament voted 583-0 to call on Bush to “just give it up and resign for the good of the world. Please.” Really, they said, please.

  25. P O'Neill says:

And Bush has nominated James Glassman (AEI, Dow 36000, astroturf specialist) to Ken Tomlinson’s old job.

Intensive physical exam beforehand, right? :D

  28. Kane Jeeves says:

It amazes me that so many people find what Bush & Co do unbelievable. They’re doing exactly what religious, fascist zealots and their true believing followers always do. Ends justify the Means for them.

  29. JaneESchneider says:

ForTruth, good luck with that free clinic idea! :-D

  30. ForTruth says:

Yes Zooey, intensive physical exam to determine fitness for the “innoculation”.

I hope before we get sent to the gulags with the rest of the Jews, I mean, dissenters… (Hard to forget Bush isn’t actually Hitler sometimes).

Excellent article over at Buzz Flash about how close we really are to a Fascist take over… I emailed it to all my family and friends, but expect the majority of them to not even read it… The sheep are really believe that ignorance is bliss.

  33. mongo says:

Why does the EU Parliament want the terrorists to win?

Why don’t they want to support the troops?

    Clinton did it too!

Heh. We had an eye doctor in town who tried to give free breast exams with his check ups. Didn’t work out too well for him. :)

  36. Bill Masen says:

A sheepish Wolfowitz apologized profusely and combed that hair lickety split.

CAN the EU call to have an American president deposed and demand he step down, like America can to Iraq, Serbia, etc???

  39. Valiantthehater says:

are you kidding me?!! now we are going to do as the EU parliment demands? hahahahaha!!!

that is like the US Congress voting on the UN president to resign. who the f…..ck cares!!!

  40. whiteyfresh says:

    Zooey? REALLY????

    eeeeeeewwww….

  41. ForTruth says:

THis is why I think Americans should be able to have thier guns. If we are close to a fascist take over…

Removing the gun from the general populous will embolden the Bush Administration even further.

I don’t even own a gun. But if people have them, it might be a deterrant to an oppressive government.

  42. Jason M. Hendler says:

Just another example of the impotence of parliamentary systems. A narrow margin vote for an extreme knee jerk reaction will have no affect on those they wish to influence.

If Kofi Annan can complete his term in the UN, after allowing Rwandans and Sudanese to die in the 100,000’s, simply because they aren’t part of his tribe, then Wolfowitz may complete his term.

  43. ForTruth says:

Eye doctor who examines breasts. He had it wrong.

At least I am telling people up front I am providing innoculations.

  44. Republicans are the Fear and Smear Party says:

    How’s it going, whitey?

I wholly agree – with one caveat. Gun ownership should be educated gun owdership. It’s freely giving a loaded gun to someone who doesn’t have respect for it or what it can do that has helped put our murder rate around 16-17 thousand per year.

The Founding Fathers were wise to see that an armed population is a free population… I love what Jefferson said about there being democracy when the government fears the people, but tyranny when it’ the other way around.

  47. unbelievable says:

    Jason,

You said a very similar thing about Democrats in November 2006. Remember that? LOL

    Now shoo…

You think nearly 60% of parliament is a narrow margin? Your post here is *knee-jerk*, *ssw*pe. You don’t think the EU has any influence on the world bank? BAHAHAHA, you can’t blame your Aspbergers for being r*t*rded son! That’s your momma’s fault for having an inbred baby!

If Kofi Annan can complete his term in the UN, after allowing Rwandans and Sudanese to die in the 100,000’s, simply because they aren’t part of his tribe, then Wolfowitz may complete his term.

BAHAHAHAHA, Anana worked intently on solving African issues, it was Jake*sses like you and the rest of your GOP cronies that stood in the way. You could care less about Africa, and you know it, you mentally deranged *ssh*le!

If you think a “narrow margin” invalidates a vote, then you must really hate the super narrow margin Georgie won by – right son? Since it’s far smaller than this vote.

Oh, tell me. How did your electioneering predictions turn out for 2006? How IN-TOUCH were you with the pulse of the nation you live in? Why do you feel your delusion that you’re in touch with WORLD AFFAIRS will be more accurate? You’re nuts, son. Valiant Venus was right about you – you’re a whiny looking little worm.

Send him to the Hague for screwing around with that beast and not being drunk while doing it.

  52. david says:

The US$ fell again today. Soon the greenback will be just a scrap of greenish paper. Ah, remember the days of Confederate money?

Bush runs his economy in just the opposite philosophy to what he has Wolfowitz telling the developing world. Deficit financing, massive national debt, a weak dollar, and low interest rates.

Come on. The US could pick the President of the World Bank because it was the leading world economy. The EU, China, and India are now offering stiff competition. This arrogance of Bush and Wolfowitz is now way to play a losing hand.

Don’t be surprised if next year the world starts imposing fiscal conditions on the US economy. Remember the Dow-Jones no longer represents the US domestic economy; many of its companies have global interests.

Go Europe!! If America has lost track of its checks and balances, the other major powers must stand up for law and order.
