No nation is above laws of the international community. Any nation or leadership callously disregarding decency of conduct, treaties and established law, is asking to be reminded, one way or another.

Bush runs his economy in just the opposite philosophy to what he has Wolfowitz telling the developing world. Deficit financing, massive national debt, a weak dollar, and low interest rates.

Come on. The US could pick the President of the World Bank because it was the leading world economy. The EU, China, and India are now offering stiff competition. This arrogance of Bush and Wolfowitz is now way to play a losing hand.

Don’t be surprised if next year the world starts imposing fiscal conditions on the US economy. Remember the Dow-Jones no longer represents the US domestic economy; many of its companies have global interests.

Send him to the Hague for screwing around with that beast and not being drunk while doing it.

I wholly agree – with one caveat. Gun ownership should be educated gun owdership. It’s freely giving a loaded gun to someone who doesn’t have respect for it or what it can do that has helped put our murder rate around 16-17 thousand per year.

The Founding Fathers were wise to see that an armed population is a free population… I love what Jefferson said about there being democracy when the government fears the people, but tyranny when it’ the other way around.
