UPDATE: Of course, by “suffer,” she means the “peace of mind” that Americans “sacrifice…when they see the terrible image of violence on TV every night.”
All Americans must stand up to these atrocities of human beings …that have infested our government. I have nothing but outrage and contempt for Laura Bush, her entire family, and now sadly, anyone who at this point, defends the monster in the White House.
Watch the whole clip. If you think Laura Bush is disconnected, I think Ann Curry’s tone and line of questioning will leave you equally outraged if not more.
The arrogance of this statement sickens me. I can think of over 3000 American families and tens of thousands of Iraqi families that are suffering more than this woman and her idiot husband.
I’m sure it brings cold comfort to the poor little Iraqi girl who had her parents killed and both arms blown off during a US bombing raid at the start of the catastrophe.
She suffers so much on a daily basis by just thinking of the danger that her daughters would be faced with if they were to actually follow the advice of their father by joining the military and placing their lives on the line in Iraq. But thankfully for Laura Bush, reality is a lot more comforting than fantasy.
I spent over a year in Baghdad. I came home in 2004, and I still have nightmares. I vivdly remember the night one of my best friends lost her legs in a mortar attack on the BIAP. I can easily name several close, personal friends who can explain what “suffer” means, because Laura Bush obviously doesn’t know the meaning of the word. Laura, if you are ever in Utah on a tuesday night, come to bldg. 47 at the VAMC, there is a group of vets there that would like to have a little talk with you.
Not since “Let them eat cake” has a First Lady been so out of touch with the people.
As I recall, Marie Antoinette came to a rather sticky end (executed for treason), even though she never actually uttered the infamous “let them eat cake” line…
#19. You are an idiot. Laura didn’t just say it was difficult to send troops to battle. She said she and George SUFFER MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE. More than the troops. More than the families of troops who have been killed. More than Iraqis who have seen their homes destroyed. More than the 2 million Iraqis who have fled the country.
Laura Bush and the rest of you Conservative idiots can s**k it. This claim is appalling and shows that she, and you, have no appreciation for the sacrifices you are asking of the troops every day.
Of course, by “suffer,†she means the “peace of mind†that Americans “sacrifice…when they see the terrible image of violence on TV every night.â€
Yeah…seeing all those unhappy Iraqis can really harsh your Vicodin buzz, can’t it, Laura?
Comment by Valiantthehater — April 25, 2007 @ 10:16 am
You honestly believe that no one suffers more that Laura Bush? No one? Not the vets? Not their families? Not the soldiers on the ground daily? No, Laura has it pretty hard compared to them…

“I don’t really believe those polls. I travel around the country, I see people, I see their response to my husband, I see their response to me…A lot of people come up to me and say, ‘Stay the course.’”

No President, whether Republican or Democratic, wants to send troops to war and to their death in the battlefield.
Every President in the history of the United States has suffered immensely when sending troops to fight.
Bullshit! Bush is a sociopath. He’s incapable of empathy and he has no qualms whatsoever about sending troops off to to die for any reason, no matter how trivial or personally enriching it may be.
And, on top of that, he will fight any attempt to bring them home, if only for the reason that it would make him look bad. Everyone knows that he screwed up, but it would be a public acknowledgement by him if he allowed them to come home. He’d rather see 50,000 American troops dead than have to face that.
You don’t know what kind of a sick f*ck we’re dealing with here.
Comment by Valiantthehater — April 25, 2007 @ 10:19 am
You stated yesterday that you had a brother serving active duty? What unit is he in? I still have several friends in Baghdad and Balad, maybe someone could stop by to let him know what a terrible time Laura Bush is having, so he could send his condolences.
about 4,000 troops died under bill clinton’s presidency
Really? Where did that happen? By the way, we went into Kosovo to stop the ongoing ethnic cleansing and we were successful. Bush went into Iraq for a half dozen or so different reasons, none of which turned out to be true, and the place is in far worse shape now than it ever was under Saddam.
Laura suffers because she won’t openly complain about dubya’s not so secret relationship with Condi. She’ll wait out the next 2 years in stoic sullen misery and then divorce his ass for every ill gotten penny he has.
People, remember that ValianttheHater, asked by Bluedog, could not prove that Lenin once refered as “useful idiots” regarding his comrades. He just spits: liberal…wackos…leninists…leftists… in any different combination and he thinks he has an argument.
“Consider the four sons of Theodore Roosevelt: Quentin, the youngest, was a pilot who died in action in WWI. The remaining three sons, Ted Junior, Kermit and Archie, served with honor and distinction both in World War One AND in World War Two.
Consider the four sons of Franklin Roosevelt. They, along with Robert Lincoln, and the husbands of the daughters of Lyndon Johnson, share the rare distinction of being the only presidential children to serve in a war fought while their father was president.”
She is pathetic.
The stepford wife with the frozen face who thinks she is “suffering.”
She married a drunken, self-centered, warmongering moron – that makes her incredibly stupid.
what a crock of s***. Laura bush is an even bigger idiot than her stupid husband. Last week, when her and the decider went to VT for the memorial, she just stood there with a stupid smiile on her face – must be some good drugs. Then again, I guess you would have to stay stoned to be around georgie boy all the time.
I wouldn’t expect anything less from Vapidselfshater. It came from the President’s/First Lady’s mouth then it’s good enough. Vapid doesn’t think for itself so it’s outrage falls flat.
I don’t deny the First Lady and the President suffer from being reminded there is blood on both of their hands. And maybe in a sense, nobody will suffer more in history than those in the inner circle. But as for suffering in the sense of paon and loss, they will have to stand in line behind the Duckworths, the Tillmans and the tens of thousands more.
Valiantthehater, where on earth do you get a goofy stat such as “4000 troops died under Clinton”? That’s totally bogus. Citation, please! You write such irresponible drivel. Total US combat deaths during the Kosovo incident: 0, with two non-combat deaths.
And Bush did want to go to war. He did want to send troops to their death. Don’t you remember his crap about being “a patient man” who wanted things to happen in weeks not months. He couldn’t wait for those UN weapons inspectors to do their job, he couldn’t wait for the military equipment in Turkey to be shipped to Kuwait, he couldn’t wait for a 2nd UN resolution. No! He was eager to send US troops into harm’s way. And then he showed no grief when the fallen came home: he went to no funerals, no flags at half-mast, no honorary guards at the airport.
And when Tillman was killed by “friendly fire”, it was suppressed and a phoney story ’suitable for prime-time’ was invented. This whole war is a fake. US troops are killing innocent civilians in greater numbers than the terrorists. The US engages in arbitrary arrest, imprisonment, torture, aerial bombardment, and human rights violations. And the US ignores all the pleas for the democratically elected Iraqi government to do otherwise. For shame.

Sorry I don’t think any of the BushCo crime syndicate ever show remorse. I bet if Laura’s own daughters died, she’s schedule their funeral around her hair dresser.
The lefty trolls are out in full swing, don’t steep to the Neo-Cons level and vilify people it always tends to be very regressive.
Laura, no one in America is suffering except our brave, fighting servicemen and women overseas that Cheney and Bush sent over into a quagmire for no reason!
Not to mention the Iraqi people themselves, suffering from over 4 years of a bloody occupation that gets progressively worse with each passing day.
Certainly – it’s just not possible that an Iraqi child who has seen her parents blown to shreds (and perhaps had a couple of her own limbs blown off) could possibly suffer any more than these two. I simply can’t conceive of it.
As alway’s, when bull shit bush is looking real bad they parade out stepf*** plastick face ms.bush to soothe the kool aid drinker’s….Lite headed laura put’s the pedal to the metal against the truth teller’s in hopes to save heir bush’s ass….Like when she ran over her boyfriend and killed him something die’s in america, it’s called freedom, truth and justice now..Not to mention the million’s dieing in Iraq, theirs and ours….Impeach them all and seize their assets..Blessings
I too think that GW is somewhere in the realm of sociopath definitions. Laura is just keeping her toast buttered .
But this whole admin. is about PR, smoke and mirrors, lies…attacks on others and fear…….words words words… forget the rhetoric and look at the actions:
Bush Corporate Colluders Inc. did not invade Iraq to protect the people or bring Democracy or for any other humanitarian reason. Democracy is not imposed from the outside. But the take over of natural resources is imposed from outside……. and bingo! That is just we now have done….Big Corp OIL now has a say in Iraq OIL.
Our government leaders lied to us about the Iraq War. They lied about Pat Tillman….they continue to lie & mislead on many fronts as they subvert our Democracy from within. They should be removed. We should be outraged at what they are doing in the name of money…to America, to Iraq, to our poor Earth and our grandchildren.
One of the interesting things about Laura is that she seemed to be pretty sentient. She allegedly wanted to divorce Bushie back in the day, but Babs “talked her out of it”, probably because it would have harmed 43 politically. Now there are strong rumors of W’s out-of-control drinking, their marriage has collapsed, they hate each other, etc. She can’t leave because Bushco would kill her first (and that’d drum up some sympathy for W, some political capital… hmmm, says Karl) and staying must be torturing the remaining part of her that’s not completely medicated or dissociated. You could almost feel bad for her. Maybe she could start sending SOS’s by blinking in Morse code.
Looks like the daughter-in-law is right in step with the mother-in-law …
March 18, 2003, courtesy of Frank Rich:
Barbara Bush tells Diane Sawyer on ABC’s “Good Morning America†that she will not watch televised coverage of the war: “Why should we hear about body bags and deaths, and how many, what day it’s going to happen, and how many this or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it’s, it’s not relevant. So, why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?â€
She is despicable. How many truly beautiful minds have been destroyed by that same cavalier attitude, which is obviously shared by Mrs. Bush’s son? These people do not support the troops. They view young men and women as expendable.
Get a divorce, martyr! No one elected Laura to anything and certainly very few agree with Bush’s failed strategy of staying the course on trumped up and cherry-picked intelligence to invade a country that was no threat to the US.
I could deal with the poor spelling if they had any grasp of basic logic. Unfortunately, since God (or, rather, the dollar, which is the same thing for them) himeself shrieks from their emotive bellies, it is impossible to constructively argue with them. They KNOW they are right, cuz their EMOTIONS tell them so.
There goes that hard work thing again. What is with these people? Of course it’s hard work you nitwit, and your husband has failed in meeting his obligations. Were he the CEO of any company, he would have been sacked long ago, or had the decency to resign to save the company from further damage. Of course, this sociopath won’t resign and he is destroying America. Why does Dumbya hate America so much? Why does he hold the troops in such contempt? Oh yeah, he can’t fathom their sacrifice. He shows up to the VT memorial, but has he gone to one soldier’s funeral? NO. Arlington is a quick bike ride across the river. He could do it. But he hates the troops, unless he wants to USE them as a backdrop for some photo-op. Or use them for PROPOGANDA as he did Tillman and Lynch.
Laura is a simple dingbat. At least she forget to mention how lucky those underprivileged New Orleans residents were to be displaced to Texas and elsewhere by hurricane Katrina. Another boner by the tone deaf shrub family.
“No one suffers more than their President and I do.†— Laura Bush

This is an absolutely true statement if you use the Biblical definition of “suffer”, which is to “let happen or cause” (as in “suffer the little children to come to me). Thus, Laura Bush is saying “No one causes more than the President and I do”.

WTF have you been smoking?
During the Clinton administration, 58 American personnel have died in acts of terrorism and 83 have died of unknown causes(link). If you relate casualties to specific campaigns, the number is 59(link).
I typed that wrong –
I meant to address PLC, and say that the repugs are flying monkeys.
In rereading it, I gave the wrong impression. Sorry PLC.
I liked your post!
ahh, the atheist that has never studied theology, who hates God and anyone that believes in God is trying to preach to others how to behave like a Christian. It never ceases to amaze me when those that hate God and Christianity try to tell Christians how to behave like good Christian.
Son, Juanito el pendejito, you do know that cursing is NOT a sin. In fact, individuals like you need to be told what they are, sick f…cks, who have twisted history and facts to justify their sad existance.
You believe that the terrorist in Iraq are heros, despite the fact that they use women and children as shields. yOu consider the monster Hugo Chavez a good person, despite the fact that he is a dictator and he is using Stalinist tactics to scare Venezuelans to comply with his evil regime.
It is not an insult to speak the truth, you Juanito C el pendejito, are one sick f…ck who is poorly educated.
you know that, and I know that. Believe it, dont’ believe it, deny it all you want, you and I both know that you are a monster of a human being and that you are poorly educated.
thanks for the link, it actually proves my point that more military personnel died under the Clinton administration during a time of supposed peace than they have died under Bush during a time of war.
From 1993 until 2000 7, 514 active personnel died. I thought that when Clinton died no one lied….what happened liberals. and to top it all off, we were supposedly at peace with the world during the years that Clinton was in power.
Less Americans have died in the Iraq War than they died during a time of supposed peace.
PLEASE, do NOT answer Valiantthehater’s lies and attacks.

More military personnel died because of terrorist attacks under the Clinton years than they have under the Bush years!!!
wow!! Waltman, are you sure you want to take serious the tables you linked us to? you know, liberals hate the truth and facts, so when will you claim that the military is lying here. :)
Loony Laura and Ga-Ga Georgie are two of a kind, equally yoked, perfectly matched bookends. Both self-medicate, both self-deluding, both self-consumed and self-centered.
Perhaps she could come to Georgia the next time a young man is sent home from Iraq to be buried. Perhaps she could go to the VA hospital and see how the injured suffer deeply, but bear it all courageously and with supreme dignity. Perhaps she could visit the homes of returned Iraq/Afghanistan vets to witness the anguish of their spouses, children, and parents as they realize that their loved one will never be the same again. Perhaps she could talk to spouses of soldiers/Marines still in Iraq and listen to the innumerable problems they’ve encountered dealing with the bureaucracy and coping with being a single parent.
Loony Laura nor her dingbat husband know the first thing about true suffering.
#89. What happened to 4,000? You wrote “about 4,000 troops died under bill clinton’s presidency.” What happened to 4,000? Did you just make that number up? No wonder you have no credibility. You’re like the President— just make up your lies.
This gets through the moderators here? Off-thread, completely ad hominem, and totally ignoring the other posters who have asked Valiant here to defend her position. Like the whole 4,000 troops dead under Clinton? etc. etc.
She/he/it has added pretty much nothing to any of the threads I have seen that handle on except the same sort of off-topic ranting and raving lunacy on display here.
In response to Valiant’s first post, if we called for Chelsea to go to Kosovo (she had just turned 18 I believe during the year the offensive began…), I ask this: did you feel that the Republican’s Congress demand for an exit strategy and an set time table for a withdrawal was treasonous?
You mean like the 600 thousand dead Iraqis, or our 3000+ dead soldiers and their families, or the 30 thousand wounded and their families, yeah you have suffered alright, my heart weeps for you.
hahaha, is that the best you have……sorry, I was mistaken, it was not 4,000 troops that died under the Clinton administration, but rather….ALMOST 8,000 TROOPS! that died under the Clinton administration.
Less troops have died under the Bush administration than they did under the Clinton administration.
I thought we were at peace during the Clinton years, what happened? I thought Clinton cared for our troops, how come more died under him during a supposed time of peace than under bush during a time of war?
hahahaha!!! this is rich! thinkprogress.org will soon disable the links and block them since they don’t want the facts to get out, right?
Valiantthehater, can you answer the fact that you’ve posted misinformation and distorted history? No, instead, you rant about some God you love and the Godless you hate. Nice sidestep into unreality.
Valiantthehater –THE HATER– or should I drop the H and call you Valiant Theater because you write such melodramatic hokum?
You’re woefully uneducated. You claim to have studied theology and then you make major theological errors. Who exactly did you study? Name names. You claim to have read history. Which historians? Which book titles? Name names.
You seem to see the war in Iraq as a crusade against those Muslim godhaters. Is that so? Where is your forgiveness and compassion? How many cheeks do you have? Aren’t you supposed to turn the other? Please, enlighten me.
This war is a fake. A fraud. And the blood of the innocents is on YOUR HANDS. Why? Because your blindness to the Truth is what allows the war to continue. You continue to believe the lies, to excuse the incompetence, to stop your ears to the military officers demanding a change in direction. You want a Pyrrhic Victory. You will not be satisfied until the last America soldier dies for a mistake.
How did they all die again (I appreciate the jump from 4,000 to 7,000 – very cute)?
Also…
If what happened during Bush’s terms can be blamed on Clinton, I guess the blood on Clinton’s hands re: terrorist attacks during his Presidency fall squarely on the lap of George the Elder, according to your twisted logic.
Right?
as you can see, you liberal friedn Waltman put up a link which actually shows that I was wrong. 4,000 troops didn’t died during the Clinton years, it was about 8,000 troops that died under Clinton. My bad, I admit I made a mistake with the numbers. Kind of like the fuzzy math that Al Gore lies, you know.
Tweedster, yes, of course Republicans were doing it just to score political points and to give Clinton a hard time, just like Democrats are doing it today!
sorry, don’t try to paint me as a Republican kid, not one, never have been one, never will be one. NEXT please. I need someone to challange me, not this questions that second graders ask.
why don’t you answer, Chelsea was 18 during Kosovo, why didn’t she enlist and go fight for her father, eh? why? liberals were not calling on her to serve, so why do they call on Bush’s daughters to serve? since when do the kids of our PResident have to serve in order for the President to make military decisions?
son, child, you are a lunatic! I never claimed that the Iraq war is being fought to kill the godhaters. wow! talk about making things up.
David, please if I have told you once, I have told you many times, please take your pills before you post on here. They make you sound half way educated, ok? Hey, I am only giving you friendly advice and trying to help you. It is up to you whether you want to help yourself or not.
Vapid and waltman want to slam Clinton with Walt’s link but didn’t even bother to add up Reagan’s or B1. So They are pissing in the wind over the qty. of deaths. It’s as useful as a man’s nipple.
Notice also in that link they stopped counting terrorist deaths after 2001 (or there were none) you decide.
Hostile fire deaths aren’t even close between Clinton and B2. So Vapid, you have attempted to divert the thread from an assinine statement the first lady said. You couldn’t defend the statement so you jumped to a talking point that is as dull as your sense of humor.
The link that I put up includes traffic accidents, training accidents, etc. The number of suicides and murder-suicides has soared from 03/20/2003 on. I will find the numbers – there were articlews in both Newsweek and the New York Times that I remember. In addition, the tables cease after the year 2000.
Valiantthebaiter, can you read tables? Or are you too busy hiding under them? The tables WalttheMan linked to actually show deaths in the military dropping during the Clinton years. Look at it again. There’s only one combat death and less than a 100 deaths due to terrorism.
Accidental deaths are not something you can pin on Clinton. And why do accidental death rates go up under Reagan, Bush Sr, and Bush Jr and down under Clinton? The only relevant columns are deaths due to hostile activity or terrorism. But you the baiting historian knew that, didn’t you?
Tweedster, yes, of course Republicans were doing it just to score political points and to give Clinton a hard time, just like Democrats are doing it today!
Wait, this isn’t actually an answer. I asked if you believed then that what Republicans were calling for was treasonous. Nice try at a dodge.
sorry, don’t try to paint me as a Republican kid, not one, never have been one, never will be one. NEXT please. I need someone to challange me, not this questions that second graders ask.
OK, how do you suppose I painted you as a Republican here? Since I mentioned that about how many times in my posts thus far? NEXT please? Gimme a break. Also, no need to condescend with the “kid” cheap shot. You are no challenge to anyone here, because you don’t really bring anything to the table. I asked you for links.
PLUS you egregiously twist the numbers provided in the link. From 1992 – 200, there were 443 deaths that are directly linked to conflict. These include numbers for the categories, HOSTILE ACTION, TERRORIST ATTACK, and I even through in the UNKNOWN to inflate the number. I did not include ACCIDENTS, HOMOCIDE, ILLNESS (probably Gulf War syndrome related) and SELF-INFLICTED. Those categories cannot be attributed directly to conflict, unlike the real number which includes the most relevant categories to war or military action.

Sorry gang, I posted on the wrong thread. However, the hater still has the thread off track, but the topic is Laura’s fatuous comments, not the hater’s fatuous, lying comments.
Hater: Clinton lied about a BJ, not about the reasons for going into Kosovo. Bush still hasn’t figured out a reason for invading Iraq that passes the smell test, but that doesn’t stop him from using apocalyptic rhetoric into blindly following.
Oh, and the link Waltman provided? If you say it proves your 4,000 number, you either cannot read or are lying. And the number of military who died in terrorist attacks under Clinton? You cannot be serious. More military died in Beirut then in the Cole or Khobar the African embassy bombings.
Do you think lying advances your point of view? Silly me, I forgot: you’re a troll. You have no point of view.
111 Chew on that Valiant…I am eagerly awaiting your completely off-topic post as a response because you are a liar, and you know it, and you can’t disprove it.
When did you start hating America and out troops so much Valiant? When?
Valiant the Baiter can’t read. Put on your glasses, kid. Maybe you’ll learn something. Check those tables again.
Clinton was President from Jan 2003 to Jan 2001. Military deaths due to hostile action and terrorism under his watch: 66. And overall deaths including accidental, illness, homicide and suicide actually falls by as much as 20% compared to what the table shows happened under Reagan, Bush Sr, and Bush Jr. The tables conveniently end –for you– at 2004 and so we don’t see the worst of Bush’s Pyrrhic War.
Valiant the Baiter, name names. Show us your knowledge, o wise guy. Link to links. Cite reference books. Do something other than make things up and pretend to be something you are not. And stop bring God into this if you don’t want people to think you’re advocating another crusade. What on earth does God want to do in Iraq?
1) I gave you an answer. If you don’t like it, that is on you son. I don’t like repeating myself to two year old kids like you.
2)You assumed I was a republican by trying to “catch” me with the Republican question. Please don’t insult yourself now by back paddling. Don’t be the child I know you are.
3)Sorry, Waltman’s link, prove that more military personnel died under Clinton. If you don’t like it, call the military and ask them to change it.
4)Wrong! the charts stop at 2004, not 2000.
5)Please provide me with a better mental challange. Your low IQ is boring me.
we are talking about Bush Jr. vs. Clinton’s death. why do you little ones feel the need to bring Reagan and Bush Sr.? It is you idiots that have always claimed that more military personnel have died under Bush than they did under Clinton, since under Clinton we were supposedly at peace. (you liberal fools forget that Al Qaeda declared war on the USA back in 1996, but this if off topic). Yet, the numbers show that liberals are liars!!
but I guess that is like telling you that the sky is blue, right? we all know liberals are liars.
Clinton 1993 to 2001. Yes, it was a typo. But the figure of 66 stands. I may be rusty at typing 19xx, but you, Valiant the Baiter, can’t see past the end of your nose.
And why is it that you never answer direct questions? Name names, link to links, cite books. You can’t. You just make all this stuff up.
Vagrantheater offers nothing more than a side show. It’s kind of like that jello with the odd fruit in it that nobody ever eats at Auntie Aphrodite’s house.
It’s a pimple on the ass and nothing more. Mrs. Bush decided to put herself at the top of the suffering pile without contemplating any truth to her statement. Stupidity by osmosis.
what’s the matter little one….you have been proven to be a liar and now you are sad and upset? don’t worry, two year old children act just like you when they are proven wrong.
you know, you sound like Alec Baldwin when he verbally abused his 11 year old daughter. I guess it is something you liberal fools know how to do well, right?
Valiant the Baiter, you really are blind. In more ways than one.
Total military deaths under Clinton average 830 each year. (It’s only 800 each year in his second term.) Bush Jr has a dismal record of 1300 military deaths each year during his first term.
And who are you really, Valiant the Baiter? You’re not here to spread wisdom. And I don’t believe for a minute you’re wise. And I’m not buying your odd syntax as being genuine. I’m imagining you’re some 23 year old intern at the AEI.
124. Ehh? you think what? Is that pimple talking? blahblahblah.
You think you have proven me to be a liar about what?
Mrs. Bush says she suffers more than anyone else. She said that after considering the maimed, the dead and the families of them. You want to side with her, fine. You can both be wrong and arrogant.
It doesn’t mean your right and it won’t slow down the truth from coming out.
That cut Clinton caused you is deep. You should let it heal. I’m sure there will be some healing after Bush is a memory but we first have to lance that boil before the healing can begin.
This pimple known as vapidselfshater won’t get to a boil.
1) Treasonous or no? Maybe you did answer but, Tweedster, yes, of course Republicans were doing it just to score political points has such horrible syntax, I don’t know what the yes refers to.
2)The only reason Republican came up is because it is relevant to who was controlling Congress during Clinton’s terms. You know, the target of your dishonest attack on this thread. Deal with facts. Asking you about your views of the Republican controlled congress during the Clinton years does not try and “catch” you…whatever that means.
3)You want to misuse statistics…because the 3,000+ that have died in Iraq during GW are basically all derived from combat action. Unless of course you have other stats that can point to 1,500 or so dying of malaria? If you don’t like the numbers that indicate how many personnel died under Clinton during conflict – ask the DoD to change it. Liar.
4) Got me there! I forgot Clinton was President in up to 2004! Moron…your lack of reading comprehension probably plays a factor in how poor your arguments are.
5) Stinks to be totally smacked down by a mere babe eh? LOL…how pathetic you are.
The poor troops sent to Iraq were forced to take anti-anthrax drugs in case those WMD were real. The drugs are actually only approved for use on cattle, but –hey– we know what Bush really thinks of the troops, right? Pop those pills, bossy. Unfortunately, one of the sideeffects of the meds is suicidal ideation.
son, child, little one. I leave and I come back praying, hoping, wishing that you would have posted something intelligent, someting coherent, something that made sense and as we both know all you did is rant.
son, I tell you again, you are boring me. You low IQ is really boring. Please try again and this time try to write something that at least comes close to being intelligent, ok?
although, i would suggest that you do yourself a favor and just shut up because you are only making a complete idiot out of yourself.

I read somewhere one of Shrubbies signing statements says that he can force the entire population to take untested vaccines, scary as hell. Especially with all the hype over Bird Flu. I don’t know about most Americans, but they better inject me with bullets before they try untested vaccines on me. Only the drug companies win, same with the mostly untested HPV vaccine for young women. While it sounds good on the cover, they don’t even know any of the side effects, it’s only been out a year. The cure more dangerous than the disease?
Vapid, you have quite a knack for insults before substance. You didn’t come back to prove where I had lied about anything but yet you accuse me of such.
I had asked you to take a longer look at that link but you just want to discuss your obsession with Clinton. Never voted for him so any make believe argument in your head will just have to stay there with the other voices.
Do you stand behind the statement the Mrs. Bush said? If so then show a spine and defend it. Blowing BS out of your piehole does nothing to gain an advantage in an argument.
Valiant the Baiter returns. But with no verifiable facts, no names named, no links linked, no books cited. All he can muster for proof of his imaginary history is lofty condescension. Fut! What useless nonsense! Either debate like an adult or stop being childish. This cowardly condescension is boring everyone here who actually cares about Life, Truth, and Justice. You, you just care about making a complete idiot of yourself.
why are liberals like you such great idiots that can’t think on their own?
This from someone who claimed another poster’s links supported their claim (which was totally distorted anyhow), only to have said link completely repudiate them! Way to NOT be able to support your own argument and THEN stick your own trolly foot in your own trolly maw! I do think on my, which is why I’d never take advice from a mental midget like you!
Is your IQ so low because your parents threw you too many times against a wall?
Not only is IQ not even considered a great barometer of intelligence, my parents never threw me into walls, and my measured IQ is 144. Sorry again, better luck next time!
why are you such a tool of the left wing?
OOOO, trying to “catch” me there? You won’t even admit to any political allegiance (not Repub my a$$…), so I doubt you have any credentials in evaluating other people’s. Stick to what you do best and go inflate a zeppelin with you copious amount of hot air you spew constantly.
Hey, Caracas, I never ever have mentioned Hugo Chávez in our discussions, why could he be my hero? You voted for him twice, not me. You are pathetic trying to insult me in Spanish which you dont even how to spell correctly, you rant and rant and rant about things you are clueless, like theology, Climate change and US foreign policy.
Oh, but you have come to the conclusion that GOD, Heaven and Satan exists after all your study years in theology? Ha hahaha. Go back and watch soap operas in Venevisión while waiting for Heaven, dipsh*t.
Is it me or the more the GOP falls apart, the more foolish, desperate the trolls are getting? Like a wet cat backed into a corner. Patrick, Valleycunt, Jake are about ready to turn that corner and start “Going Cho” on someone, maybe blowup a planned parenthood? Perhaps send some Antrhax to another Dem.
141. For the record, I’ve never thought Vapidselfshater was worthy of anything more than to be used to sharpen retorts. The chooch wouldn’t/couldn’t defend mrs. Bush’s comments but was delighted in bashing Clinton. Damn, I’m a Bears fan but I’m over that they lost. VDspreader’s got to let the whole Clinton thing go.
True true…it felt good smacking around that ignoranus with some truth. Later y’all.
Comment by Tweedster — April 25, 2007 @ 2:17 pm
oh many you liberals are too funny!! Tweedster, why do you embarras yourself like this, why? I guess you have such a low IQ that you think youo smacked someone around. Child, you were smacking yourself! hahahaha!!!!
148. Another jump to throw insults but no balls to answer the question or stand behind mrs. bush’s statement. vaportater, you must be something special in your own mind.
Show a spine and defend the statement. C’mon Vacilator show us how Mrs. Bush suffers more than the soldiers that have lost limbs or the families dealing with the loss of a loved one. You’re brave enough to throw crap that has nothing to do with this thread so jump up with the big boys and defend something.
why are you on your knees beggin me to answer something, why? why are you so desperate? why are you so pathetic? why little one? Stand up, straighten yourself out and try to act like the man you havce always refused to act like. Stop kissing my feet beggin me to answer your questions. You are embarrasing yourself little one.
Well, this thread’s getting old. And I guess W can pick them. Laura’s goofy comment equaled her mother-in-law’s gaffe during the Katrina aftermath.
Vladiant the Baiter must know the saying “Silence is consent”. As he won’t answer pointed rebuttals and corrections to his absurd statement, I assume he doesn’t have a response. Instead, he chuckles at the typos of others.
Of course, Chuckles the Valiant, you need to consider your own typos, before you bust a gut going BWHAHAHAHA. I offer: “embarras” and “youo”. What’s the point of this childishness? You don’t have the goods and so you tease us with “Your shoes untied” and “Hey, look over there” and then you run. Coward.
All you Chickenhawks are the same. You quote bogus statistics and claim to have seen an Army succeed with such and such a tactic in a MGM movie or something. You don’t know history, you don’t know stats, you don’t know law, and you don’t know forensics. You couldn’t debate your way out of a paperbag.
And I agree. Vlad just wants to distract, distort, and disgust. He has no theology, no decency, and no balls. It’s all smokescreen 24/7. And I will only call him on the few misleading figures, names, and dates he tries to bolster his lies with. (NB: Vlad, still waiting for you to name names, link to links, cite books, or make some effort to show you’ve actually been to school.)
Vlad, I like that one. Vladtheinstigater, or vladthelimited.
Mrs. Bush should be asked to quantify her statement. It won’t happen because of the left wing media (riiiight). Pity because she does owe the service members an answer.
couldn’t pass this up… after which i concluded it necessary to scroll past the rest… but this:
yOu consider the monster Hugo Chavez a good person, despite the fact that he is a dictator and he is using Stalinist tactics to scare Venezuelans to comply with his evil regime.
@ 11:51 am
i’m sure it escapes the trooll just how easy it would be to correct that line of b.s. to:
CONS consider the monster GWB a good person, despite the fact that he wants to be a dictator and is using stalinist tactics to scare the sheeple to comply with this evil regime.
the trooll doesn’t even get that it has been HAD…
…
you aren’t this stupid, right? you are just playing along and being a sheep to fit in with the rest of the liberal wackos, right?
do tell, has our PResident disbanded Congress, and put in his own people, like Chavez did? has our President disbanded the Supreme Court members and put in his own people there. Has President Bush tried a coup, like Chavez did? Is President Bush working with the Cuban secret police to imprison indiviudals that speak against his government, like Chavez is?
I would urge you to go get an education before you spew stupidity and nonsense just to fit in with the rest of the liberal sheeps and tools, ok?
I guess that you are terrified that on Jan. 2009 Bush won’t step out of power, right? Like Chavez is refusing to step out of power, instead, Chavez literally re-wrote the whole Venezuelan Constitution to keep himself in power for at least 15 years. get a clue and an education while you are it.
you sound as stupid and as ill-informed as the rest of the liberal clowns on this page.
you can’t call it Vlad because it keeps coming back like mold if you don’t scrub it out.
Jump on Chavez, can’t defend Mrs. Bush’s statement. Chavez means shit to this country but vapid has sooo much to speak about. Mrs. Bush insults the American fighting soldier and all of the suffering families and voidoforiginalthought has less to say than Freddo did.
You go after Katy for pointing out that Bush and Company has been trying to supplant the Permanent Republican Majority (ie Stalinist rule) and just ignore the subject of the thread. It’s not your strong point to show facts or a backbone.
you are a piss poor excuse for someone with a view point thats counter to the subject matter.
Vlad is off topic. Won’t answer doubts about his dubious stats on Iraq and can’t comment on Laura’s insensitive and boneheaded remarks.
He will jump on Chavez because he thinks he has a safe target. But he likes to distort, distract, and disgust. If we don’t take the bait on Chavez, he’ll be on about babykillers or appeasers or whether red wine goes with beef and white with fish or the other way round.
Bush is incompetent. His wife is insensitive. The White House is clueless and corrupt. There’s no hope for the war in Iraq or for the US military until this clown is driven from office.
Given a choice between Chavez and Bush, I’d take Chavez. But then I actually have read the news from Venezuela and not merely the GOP talking point memos.
Vapid is on another thread pushing ignorance and insults. Given a choice I’ll take the USA and we can wake up and push Bush and Company out. Chavez has created a machine and he’ll be in charge for years to come. That will have good, bad and ugly for his citizens.
I wonder how long Vladisneuter will be licking its wounds?!
Hellina, david, Juan, katy et al. this got a little out of hand, but I’ve never really stuck with a thread until 5 people utterly crushed a troll like I did today. Haha, milestone moment I’d say…
If you’re so determined to post bald-faced lies, you should probably do it on a right-wing site where people are more likely to swallow them hook, line, and sinker. You haven’t offered any links to support your silly claims. Nobody here’s buying it. You haven’t succeeded at anything but being a nuisance.
How about trying something different? Try making an honest statement and back it up with credible sources. Oh wait…no, that doesn’t work if you’re a right-winger. Never mind.
You damm liberal democrats.
You’re making me feel so bad.
Please leave me alone. I need to be comforting my dear sweet loyal american husband.
please leave my daughters alone too, and my parents-in-law and all my wonderful friends here in washington and everywhere.
I looked at the figures on the links posted by Walt, and they don’t prove verminthehater’s point at all, as David has already noted a few times. Most of those deaths were from illness or accident; some were self-inflicted. The active duty military deaths from military action or terrorist attacks total less than 70 during the entire Clinton administration. Even if all the homicides are included, the figure is less than 500. So much for verminthehater’s figure of 4000! But then, when did facts ever stand in the way of neoCON blather?
How many of you caught the first interview on TV with Laura Bush, after the first election of her hubby? I cannot remember, but I think it was with Barbara Walters. Laura was asked about her intentions with regard to her interest in the welfare of children and what she intended to do. She then was asked about needy children in other countries. Laura Bush’s response was shockingly “why would I waste my beautiful mind thinking about that?” Maybe not perfect quote. I was so shocked. The “interview” immediately went to commercial. Nothing, amazingly, was ever heard/said about this again?
Anyone know where I can see the transcript of that one???
Point being here, Laura Bush’s beautiful mind psychosis lends me to believe that she is not qualified to be a first lady and should quit acting as such. She needs to go home with her beautiful mind, lay off and shut up. Have influence? Have what she wants, accomplished? She is mentally disturbed!
Her toned-down version of having a beautiful mind was exhibited in her comments about the Louisians that went to Texas to escape the devastation of Katrina, just looking to have a place to live and operate from. She did not want those Blacks there. She complained that they “experienced Texan hospitality, for which they were not used to, were so impressed that they just would not leave?”
What kind of garbage is this woman about? She needs to be locked away where she has no money nor influence on anything. She needs treatment for her “beautiful mind.”
This reminded me of the interview that Laura and George Bush gave where they admitted that on the night of 9/11 they were both
laughing themselves to sleep. I don’t know how they had the nerve to admit this to anyone – let alone “The Ladies’ Home Journal” magazine.
——————————-
The lighter side of 9/11
An excerpt of a 2003 Ladies’ Home Journal with our sitcom First Family:
“[Peggy] Noonan: You were separated on September 11th. What was it like when you saw each other again?
Mrs. Bush: Well, we just hugged. I think there was a certain amount of security in being with each other than being apart.
President Bush: But the day ended on a relatively humorous note. The agents said, “You’ll be sleeping downstairs. Washington’s still a dangerous place.” And I said no, I can’t sleep down there, the bed didn’t look comfortable. I was really tired, Laura was tired, we like our own bed. We like our own routine. You know, kind of a nester. Like the way things are.
I knew I had to deal with the issue the next day and provide strength and comfort to the country, and so I needed rest in order to be mentally prepared. So I told the agent we’re going upstairs, and he reluctantly said okay. Laura wears contacts, and she was sound asleep. Barney was there. And the agent comes running up and says, “We’re under attack. We need you downstairs,” and so there we go. I’m in my running shorts and my T-shirt, and I’m barefooted. Got the dog in one hand, Laura had a cat, I’m holding Laura –
Mrs. Bush: I don’t have my contacts in, and I’m in my fuzzy house slippers –
President Bush: And this guy’s out of breath, and we’re heading straight down to the basement because there’s an incoming unidentified airplane, which is coming toward the White House. Then the guy says it’s a friendly airplane. And we hustle all the way back upstairs and go to bed.
Mrs. Bush: [laughs] And we just lay there thinking about the way we must have looked.
Noonan: So the day starts in tragedy and ends in Marx Brothers.
President Bush: That’s right — we got a laugh out of it.”
Yeah, that was an awfully painful Easter egg hunt…
April 25th, 2007 at 10:02 amDamn, that broad is stupid. Even I speak better english than she.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:02 amAll Americans must stand up to these atrocities of human beings …that have infested our government. I have nothing but outrage and contempt for Laura Bush, her entire family, and now sadly, anyone who at this point, defends the monster in the White House.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:03 amVery sensitive!!!!
April 25th, 2007 at 10:04 amIf by “suffering” you mean leading a pampered, protected life and spending more time on vacation than any other President in history.
Laura Bush doesn’t care about the troops or the troops’ families.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:05 amDamn…is she as out of touch with reality than her husband?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:07 amLaLa,
April 25th, 2007 at 10:08 amMore than the Iraqis, who have that 1 bomb a day thingy?
Watch the whole clip. If you think Laura Bush is disconnected, I think Ann Curry’s tone and line of questioning will leave you equally outraged if not more.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:08 amJust take the pills, honey.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:08 amYah she and Incurious George got a backache carrying all those stolen billions to the bank. Well that was after the headache of counting them all up.
Ohhh the pain and misery… c-u-n-t (Sorry ladies – but she is one)
April 25th, 2007 at 10:08 amIt the bliss of total ignorance must be great…
April 25th, 2007 at 10:09 amThe arrogance of this statement sickens me. I can think of over 3000 American families and tens of thousands of Iraqi families that are suffering more than this woman and her idiot husband.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:09 amAnn Curry’s tone and line of questioning will leave you equally outraged if not more.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:10 amLuckily for you, Laura, all the violence happens only inside the American TeeVee, and not in real life in Iraq.
B!@tch.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:12 amSTFU, you stupid twit. i don’t know who’s dumber, Laura or Babs?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:13 amWhy would Laura want to waste her beautiful mind with that?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:13 amI’m sure it brings cold comfort to the poor little Iraqi girl who had her parents killed and both arms blown off during a US bombing raid at the start of the catastrophe.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:15 amShe suffers so much on a daily basis by just thinking of the danger that her daughters would be faced with if they were to actually follow the advice of their father by joining the military and placing their lives on the line in Iraq. But thankfully for Laura Bush, reality is a lot more comforting than fantasy.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:15 amthis is sickening crap coming from thinkprogress.org.
No President, whether Republican or Democratic, wants to send troops to war and to their death in the battlefield.
Every President in the history of the United States has suffered immensely when sending troops to fight.
It is disgusting and pathetic of thinkprogress.org to mock the first lady for stating how horrific it must be to send individuals to war.
thinkprogress.org you do write for the mentally impaired, liberal sick f….cks.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:16 amGo Phuck yourself. You are nothing but wallpaper for Satan.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:17 amI spent over a year in Baghdad.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:17 amNo one suffers more than you?
no
April 25th, 2007 at 10:18 amLaLa:
April 25th, 2007 at 10:19 am“I suffer tremendously each time I have to go to the surgeon to keep this plastic smile pasted on my face.”
Eroll,
were liberls like you calling on ex-President Clinton to have her daughter join the armed forces when he sent troops to fight in Kosovo?
about 4,000 troops died under bill clinton’s presidency, how come most of you didn’t call on his daughter to join!
how stupid can anyone be to use erolls’ argument!
Did lincoln’s kid fight in the civil war? did his daughters? how about FDRs? or Harry Truman’s?
stupid, off the cuff, left wing wacko comment.
please try to add an intelligent, coherent, well thought out post to the thread, not that you can, but at least try!
April 25th, 2007 at 10:19 amNot since “Let them eat cake” has a First Lady been so out of touch with the people.
As I recall, Marie Antoinette came to a rather sticky end (executed for treason), even though she never actually uttered the infamous “let them eat cake” line…
April 25th, 2007 at 10:20 am“It’s hard. It’s absolutely hard.”
Hey kids! Who wants to have some fun with audio clips?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:20 am#19.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:20 amOf course, by “suffer,†she means the “peace of mind†that Americans “sacrifice…when they see the terrible image of violence on TV every night.â€
Yeah…seeing all those unhappy Iraqis can really harsh your Vicodin buzz, can’t it, Laura?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:21 amLaura hasn’t even suffered as much has her high school boyfried, who she killed by running him over in her car.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:21 amComment by Valiantthehater — April 25, 2007 @ 10:16 am
You honestly believe that no one suffers more that Laura Bush? No one? Not the vets? Not their families? Not the soldiers on the ground daily? No, Laura has it pretty hard compared to them…
April 25th, 2007 at 10:22 amValleycunt over here lying too?
FACT IS… Dubya sent us to die over lies, face it bitch.
Let’s pretend for a minute that you’ve been falsely accused, wouldn’t you want the evidence against you to be 100% positive? Well?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:24 amDid she consider Tammy Duckworth before she said that? I believe the President and the first lady didn’t get their legs blown off.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:24 amMore from the “beautiful mind” of Laura Bush:
“Many parts of Iraq are stable now. But, of course, what we see on television is the one bombing a day that discourages everybody.”
- February 2007
“I don’t really believe those polls. I travel around the country, I see people, I see their response to my husband, I see their response to me…A lot of people come up to me and say, ‘Stay the course.’”
April 25th, 2007 at 10:24 am- May 2006
#19 Valiantthehater
April 25th, 2007 at 10:24 amComment by Valiantthehater — April 25, 2007 @ 10:19 am
You stated yesterday that you had a brother serving active duty? What unit is he in? I still have several friends in Baghdad and Balad, maybe someone could stop by to let him know what a terrible time Laura Bush is having, so he could send his condolences.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:26 amIt’s no fun running a county right lame duck pet goat?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:27 am#24
about 4,000 troops died under bill clinton’s presidency
Really? Where did that happen? By the way, we went into Kosovo to stop the ongoing ethnic cleansing and we were successful. Bush went into Iraq for a half dozen or so different reasons, none of which turned out to be true, and the place is in far worse shape now than it ever was under Saddam.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:29 amLaura suffers because she won’t openly complain about dubya’s not so secret relationship with Condi. She’ll wait out the next 2 years in stoic sullen misery and then divorce his ass for every ill gotten penny he has.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:30 amPeople, remember that ValianttheHater, asked by Bluedog, could not prove that Lenin once refered as “useful idiots” regarding his comrades. He just spits: liberal…wackos…leninists…leftists… in any different combination and he thinks he has an argument.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:31 amWow, did Laura Bush do another stand-up routine?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:31 amAhh Laura, would another tax cut for your mega rich friends make you feel better and get you through the suffering?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:32 amShe must be on drugs. No one can be that stupid, that vacuous.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:32 am“Consider the four sons of Theodore Roosevelt: Quentin, the youngest, was a pilot who died in action in WWI.

April 25th, 2007 at 10:33 amShe is pathetic.

April 25th, 2007 at 10:36 amI wouldn’t expect anything less from Vapidselfshater.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:36 amF*ck you, Laura Bush. Crawl back into your bottle.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:39 amThanks for telling us that, Laura. I feel much better.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:40 amValiantthehater, where on earth do you get a goofy stat such as “4000 troops died under Clinton”?

April 25th, 2007 at 10:41 amThe lefty trolls are out in full swing, don’t steep to the Neo-Cons level and vilify people it always tends to be very regressive.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:43 amLaura, darling, can you please hook me up with your pharmacist? He does wonders for you escaping any sort of reality.
Bitch.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:44 amOh really. Why don’t you send your twins to Irag then? O yeah, you don’t recall having twins. What a convenience!!
April 25th, 2007 at 10:44 amCertainly – it’s just not possible that an Iraqi child who has seen her parents blown to shreds (and perhaps had a couple of her own limbs blown off) could possibly suffer any more than these two. I simply can’t conceive of it.
April 25th, 2007 at 10:45 amLaura reminds me of the character Mary Tyler Moore played in “Ordinary People”

April 25th, 2007 at 10:49 amI too think that GW is somewhere in the realm of sociopath definitions.

April 25th, 2007 at 10:55 amHas she been dipping into Rush’s “Hillbilly Herion”?
April 25th, 2007 at 10:56 amOne of the interesting things about Laura is that she seemed to be pretty sentient.

No surprise there …what a c*nt!

What a stupid b*tch.
Hey Laura, why don’t you get an appointment with the VA, so they can take that hangnail off at the knee for you and then lets see who is suffering.
How f*cking out of touch with reality can this moron be?
April 25th, 2007 at 11:02 amtrolls fear to tread on this because they can’t fathom any lenghty defense enough to change the subject. This is going to stick.
Nobody will suffer more for this remark than the President and the First Lady.
April 25th, 2007 at 11:04 amGet a divorce, martyr! No one elected Laura to anything and certainly very few agree with Bush’s failed strategy of staying the course on trumped up and cherry-picked intelligence to invade a country that was no threat to the US.
April 25th, 2007 at 11:06 amLaura has always been an enigma. She is well educated and seems sane.
Then she marries a drunken, drugged-up ne’er-do-well.
She acts as if his “sobering up” made him less corrupt and useless.
And she ignores what he is doing to our Country and to the world.
And now, she makes a completely fatuous statement about our troops, and the country her husband has destroyed…
Well, I just talked myself out of the “well educated and sane” part!

IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH, apparently.
April 25th, 2007 at 11:12 amDear Laura,

April 25th, 2007 at 11:16 amThere goes that hard work thing again. Or use them for PROPOGANDA as he did Tillman and Lynch.

thanks guy.
April 25th, 2007 at 12:01 pmFrom 1993 until 2000 7, 514 active personnel died. I thought that when Clinton died no one lied….what happened liberals. and to top it all off, we were supposedly at peace with the world during the years that Clinton was in power.
Less Americans have died in the Iraq War than they died during a time of supposed peace.

April 25th, 2007 at 12:07 pmLoony Laura and Ga-Ga Georgie are two of a kind, equally yoked, perfectly matched bookends.

Less troops have died under the Bush administration than they did under the Clinton administration.

April 25th, 2007 at 12:13 pmValiant,

April 25th, 2007 at 12:14 pmAlso…
If what happened during Bush’s terms can be blamed on Clinton, I guess the blood on Clinton’s hands re: terrorist attacks during his Presidency fall squarely on the lap of George the Elder, according to your twisted logic.
Right?
Valiant, how come you cannot give any sources for your claims? Seemingly, ever?!
Why are you continuously lying to yourself about the quality of this Administration?
Name other areas of imrpovement, with actual facts that can be verified, to bolster your answer.

April 25th, 2007 at 12:17 pmTweedster,
as you can see, you liberal friedn Waltman put up a link which actually shows that I was wrong.
April 25th, 2007 at 12:17 pmValiant, what links do you refer to?

http://www.history.navy.mil/ library/ online/ american%20war%20casualty.htm#t2
as you will also see, more American troops committed suicide under Clinton than they have under Bush, but wait, we were at peace under clinton.
and when the hell have I blamed anything on Clinton you idiot. try to keep up.
April 25th, 2007 at 12:19 pmDavid,
son, child, you are a lunatic!
April 25th, 2007 at 12:21 pmVapid and waltman want to slam Clinton with Walt’s link but didn’t even bother to add up Reagan’s or B1.
April 25th, 2007 at 12:23 pmI’m telling you, progressives, don’t let the lying hater distract you.
This thread is about Abramoff and his criminal co-conspiracy with NeoCons, some of whom are yet-to-be-indicted-and-convicted.
The hater has this thread OFF-TRACK with lies and misinformation.
IGNORE THE HATER! PLEASE!
April 25th, 2007 at 12:23 pmThe link that I put up includes traffic accidents, training accidents, etc. The number of suicides and murder-suicides has soared from 03/20/2003 on. I will find the numbers – there were articlews in both Newsweek and the New York Times that I remember. In addition, the tables cease after the year 2000.
April 25th, 2007 at 12:24 pmValiantthebaiter, can you read tables? Or are you too busy hiding under them? The tables WalttheMan linked to actually show deaths in the military dropping during the Clinton years. Look at it again. There’s only one combat death and less than a 100 deaths due to terrorism.
Accidental deaths are not something you can pin on Clinton. And why do accidental death rates go up under Reagan, Bush Sr, and Bush Jr and down under Clinton? The only relevant columns are deaths due to hostile activity or terrorism. But you the baiting historian knew that, didn’t you?
April 25th, 2007 at 12:24 pmTweedster, yes, of course Republicans were doing it just to score political points and to give Clinton a hard time, just like Democrats are doing it today!
You are a liar. Challenge that.
April 25th, 2007 at 12:30 pm#108 – Comment by hterrya — April 25, 2007 @ 12:23 pm
Sorry gang, I posted on the wrong thread. However, the hater still has the thread off track, but the topic is Laura’s fatuous comments, not the hater’s fatuous, lying comments.
April 25th, 2007 at 12:30 pmHater: Clinton lied about a BJ, not about the reasons for going into Kosovo.
April 25th, 2007 at 12:32 pm#19 Valiantthehater:
No President, whether Republican or Democratic, wants to send troops to war and to their death in the battlefield.
Dubya, pumping his fist, on starting the Iraq war: “Feels good!”
Every President in the history of the United States has suffered immensely when sending troops to fight.
Even during the Vietnam war, when kids were coming home in boxes, Dubya suffered … falls from barstools while falling-down drunk in Alabama.
Cheers,
April 25th, 2007 at 12:35 pm111 Chew on that Valiant…I am eagerly awaiting your completely off-topic post as a response because you are a liar, and you know it, and you can’t disprove it.
When did you start hating America and out troops so much Valiant? When?
April 25th, 2007 at 12:35 pmValiant the Baiter can’t read.

It is you idiots that have always claimed that more military personnel have died under Bush than they did under Clinton, since under Clinton we were supposedly at peace. April 25th, 2007 at 1:03 pmValiant the Baiter, you really are blind.
April 25th, 2007 at 1:08 pmThe suffering she’ll endure is awaiting the entire Bush family in HELL.
April 25th, 2007 at 1:11 pmHere is a link to the most recent article I’ve found so far on suicide rates:

Hey, TP admins,
Why was my comment regarding Vicodin scrubbed?
If this was intentional, please explain how it violated the terms of use, while other, far more hateful posts are allowed to stand.
If this was accidental, when exactly do you plan on overhauling this antiquated and fundamentally broken site?
April 25th, 2007 at 1:18 pm124. Ehh? you think what?
April 25th, 2007 at 1:22 pmValiant…poor poor Valiant…
April 25th, 2007 at 1:24 pmThe poor troops sent to Iraq were forced to take anti-anthrax drugs in case those WMD were real. The drugs are actually only approved for use on cattle, but –hey– we know what Bush really thinks of the troops, right? Pop those pills, bossy. Unfortunately, one of the sideeffects of the meds is suicidal ideation.
April 25th, 2007 at 1:25 pmBye Valiant! Time for you to crawl back into your disinformation vortex of crappiness!!!
Ta-ta Trollie!
April 25th, 2007 at 1:44 pmTweedster,
son, child, little one.

April 25th, 2007 at 1:50 pmI read somewhere one of Shrubbies signing statements says that he can force the entire population to take untested vaccines, scary as hell.
Tweedster,
Here are a few simple questions that even someone with an IQ of 20 like you can answer.
why are liberals like you such great idiots that can’t think on their own?
Is your IQ so low because your parents threw you too many times against a wall?
why are you such a tool of the left wing?
answer these questions and I may start taking you seriously, until then be a good child and go play in the sandbox with John Edwards and Kerry.
April 25th, 2007 at 1:50 pm#131
Anyone care to put that to a vote…We all know how much Valitroll HATES Democracy!
You’re a lunatic my poor friend! Even when I stoop to your low level of ad hominems I am more sophisticated and coherent than you’ll ever be.
Sorry, you lose. Go pray for a clue!
April 25th, 2007 at 1:51 pmVapid, you have quite a knack for insults before substance.
C’mon and show us your good stuff VDinstigater
April 25th, 2007 at 1:54 pmValiant the Baiter returns.
April 25th, 2007 at 1:55 pmwhy are liberals like you such great idiots that can’t think on their own?
TKO Troll Knocked OUT!!!
Ta-ta Trollie!!!
April 25th, 2007 at 1:58 pmHey, Caracas, I never ever have mentioned Hugo Chávez in our discussions, why could he be my hero? You voted for him twice, not me. You are pathetic trying to insult me in Spanish which you dont even how to spell correctly, you rant and rant and rant about things you are clueless, like theology, Climate change and US foreign policy.
Oh, but you have come to the conclusion that GOD, Heaven and Satan exists after all your study years in theology? Ha hahaha. Go back and watch soap operas in Venevisión while waiting for Heaven, dipsh*t.
April 25th, 2007 at 2:00 pmBTW, you are Lenin´s useful idiot. Hehehehehe.
April 25th, 2007 at 2:01 pmDavid, hellinabucket, Juan…
Can we agree that Valiant is a totally vapid waste of time, that probably has gotten way more time than it deserves on this thread?
April 25th, 2007 at 2:01 pmIs it me or the more the GOP falls apart, the more foolish, desperate the trolls are getting? Like a wet cat backed into a corner. Patrick, Valleycunt, Jake are about ready to turn that corner and start “Going Cho” on someone, maybe blowup a planned parenthood? Perhaps send some Antrhax to another Dem.
April 25th, 2007 at 2:05 pm141.
For the record just in case Jake’s lurking.
April 25th, 2007 at 2:08 pmGoing Cho, hell man it’s not 2 weeks old. That’s rough. It’s also going to stick.
April 25th, 2007 at 2:17 pm143
True true…it felt good smacking around that ignoranus with some truth. Later y’all.

oh many you liberals are too funny!! Tweedster, why do you embarras yourself like this, why? I guess you have such a low IQ that you think youo smacked someone around. Child, you were smacking yourself! hahahaha!!!!
April 25th, 2007 at 2:31 pm148.
Or not, I don’t care.
April 25th, 2007 at 2:48 pmhellinabucket….
why are you on your knees beggin me to answer something, why? why are you so desperate? why are you so pathetic? why little one? Stand up, straighten yourself out and try to act like the man you havce always refused to act like. Stop kissing my feet beggin me to answer your questions. You are embarrasing yourself little one.
April 25th, 2007 at 2:55 pmWell, this thread’s getting old.
April 25th, 2007 at 3:03 pmapparently Vanquishmasterbater didn’t read my last sentence. If the vacilatingselfshater can’t stand behind the the president then so be it.
You confuse attention with desire vapid. Your answer will have less meaning than all of your comments combined.
You couldn’t stand behind the 1st Lady but you can’t bring yourself to admit it either. Now go on, reply with another vacant statement.
April 25th, 2007 at 3:08 pmVlad, I like that one. Vladtheinstigater, or vladthelimited.
Mrs. Bush should be asked to quantify her statement. It won’t happen because of the left wing media (riiiight). Pity because she does owe the service members an answer.
April 25th, 2007 at 3:20 pmcouldn’t pass this up… after which i concluded it necessary to scroll past the rest… but this:
yOu consider the monster Hugo Chavez a good person, despite the fact that he is a dictator and he is using Stalinist tactics to scare Venezuelans to comply with his evil regime.
@ 11:51 am
i’m sure it escapes the trooll just how easy it would be to correct that line of b.s. to:
CONS consider the monster GWB a good person, despite the fact that he wants to be a dictator and is using stalinist tactics to scare the sheeple to comply with this evil regime.
the trooll doesn’t even get that it has been HAD…
April 25th, 2007 at 3:24 pm…
katy,
you aren’t this stupid, right? you are just playing along and being a sheep to fit in with the rest of the liberal wackos, right?
do tell, has our PResident disbanded Congress, and put in his own people, like Chavez did? has our President disbanded the Supreme Court members and put in his own people there.
April 25th, 2007 at 3:45 pmyou can’t call it Vlad because it keeps coming back like mold if you don’t scrub it out.
April 25th, 2007 at 3:54 pmVlad is off topic.
April 25th, 2007 at 4:27 pmVapid is on another thread pushing ignorance and insults. Given a choice I’ll take the USA and we can wake up and push Bush and Company out. Chavez has created a machine and he’ll be in charge for years to come. That will have good, bad and ugly for his citizens.
April 25th, 2007 at 4:49 pmI wonder how long Vladisneuter will be licking its wounds?!
Hellina, david, Juan, katy et al. this got a little out of hand, but I’ve never really stuck with a thread until 5 people utterly crushed a troll like I did today. Haha, milestone moment I’d say…
See you all tomorrow!
April 25th, 2007 at 4:50 pmtomorrow it is.
April 25th, 2007 at 4:59 pmTake care, Tweedster.
April 25th, 2007 at 5:15 pmLaura, you stupid cunt!
April 25th, 2007 at 6:49 pmValiantthedouchebag:
If you’re so determined to post bald-faced lies, you should probably do it on a right-wing site where people are more likely to swallow them hook, line, and sinker. You haven’t offered any links to support your silly claims. Nobody here’s buying it. You haven’t succeeded at anything but being a nuisance.
How about trying something different? Try making an honest statement and back it up with credible sources. Oh wait…no, that doesn’t work if you’re a right-winger. Never mind.
April 26th, 2007 at 12:47 amYou damm liberal democrats.
April 26th, 2007 at 9:42 amYou’re making me feel so bad.
April 26th, 2007 at 10:03 pmRe: Laura Bush and “her beautiful mind.”
May 22nd, 2007 at 6:34 pmThis reminded me of the interview that Laura and George Bush gave where they admitted that on the night of 9/11 they were both
laughing themselves to sleep. I don’t know how they had the nerve to admit this to anyone – let alone “The Ladies’ Home Journal” magazine.
