Are the unidentified RNC emailers Cheney aides?

Yesterday, the Republican National Committee released a list of 37 White House officials who use RNC email accounts. But at least a dozen or so other White House officials with RNC accounts remain unidentified. Emptywheel notes that while the list released yesterday includes several former Cheney aides, it has not a single current aide to the Vice President. Are Cheney’s current staffers among the unidentified officials?

track it all back to the project for a new american century. im sure the list will include many email communications with pnac members, of whom many are current or former bush administartion employees.

Hmmmmm? “Off-site accounts”? That reminds me of the off-shore debts Enron accumulated. Or the off-shore bank accounts Republicans wanted exempted from the anti-terror legislation.

So TP is still around —-

WHY haven’t you fixed the formatting keys?

They don’t work, and I sent you an email days ago, but still no working formatting keys!

    Please explain. Thank you.

  4. veritas says:

Absolutely! The PNAC is responsible for all that’s gone wrong with this country. Trace it back to 911 and their “pearl harbor” – they already had the patriot act drafted for goodness sakes.

The american populace has been duped – on a grand scale. The first mistake was trusting this administration to care for it’s people. Now burned, it will be decades before respect is restored to the office of president and the trust which has been squandered by this administration reinstated.

  5. AboveTheClouds says:

A dumb-bell like Cheney doesn’t use email. Cheney aides? More likely.

    Testing the formatting keys.

    They seem to work fine.

Do people realize that when Cheney got to office, he created his own shadow National Security Council staff and they had more access than Bush’s NSC staffers. I believe he is good at this and knows exactly what he is doing and nobody will ever be able to touch him. One scary guy..

#7 Of course they don’t work. They haven’t for several weeks.

Of course they are. I have to hand it to these guys. This is the biggest, baddest criminal operation I’ve ever seen. In “Godfather II” the mobsters talk about needing their own country and then there’s no limit to what they can do. The Busch Mob has tried to hijack the USA. There’s no other way to look at it. It’s almost visionary in its scope, like “Goldfinger” or “Thunderball”. They weren’t out to steal millions, or even billions. They were out to steal TRILLIONS and take over the entire planet.

This isn’t over yet, folks. We’ve got these greasy fuckers backed into a corner, but this is when they get REAL nasty.

RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO! RICO!

I know George has said he doesn’t email, but what are the chances that he uses/used the RNC email system? I would not be surprised to learn that Georgie was using the system because he thought it was never going to be uncovered. Of course, I don’t know if he even knows how to use email!

  14. Karim says:

    Cheney needs to go.

  15. veritas says:

BTW, I can’t get the formatting keys to operate either, just for the record.

As for the missing emails, perhaps they’re in the same place as the formatting keys….JK of course!

I think you can take it to the bank that the missing emails belong to the Cheney Cabal.

  16. veritas says:

12….Bush’s use of a blackberry and/or covert email accounts is a “slam dunk”. It’s a case of “he who doth protest too much”….when Bush makes a repeated point of something, you can rest assured he’s doing the opposite. Maybe he owns some of the missing ones, along with Jebbie and Pappy as well.

    In an alternate universe…

In this page you have a field with this code…

The css class called “masterfield” has this code in the http://thinkprogress.org/sites/thinkprogress.org/wp-content/themes/thinkprogress1.6/style.css file:

    .masterfield { display: none; }

Then in a javascript file linked at http://thinkprogress.org/sites/thinkprogress.org/wp-content/themes/thinkprogress1.6/comments-js.js

    You have lots of code like this: myField.focus();

myfield is a variable holding the hidden (display:none) field listed above with the code:

So what this javascript is trying to do is set focus to a hidden field. Hidden fields are not supposed to get focus… and that explains the error that is received.

Al Gore uses one so I will give them a pass….

  24. Gerald Gibson Jr says:

well there was a little more code in there but the XMP tags must be getting striped so I guess that other HTML code didnt get rendered either… but if TPs website suppliers reads the rest they should get the idea…

  25. ForTruth says:

Sorry, I don’t know anything about html code. I just enjoy better computing pleasure on a Mac.

  26. JG says:

So do I and always have (use a MAC). They are awesome.

  27. ForTruth says:

Al Gore has finally updated his home.

So he had to move his Mac probably, and it was much easier to move.

  28. ForTruth says:

I used Windows for years, up until 2000, and I still have to use windows at work. Windows “does the job”. But computing with a Mac is something else.

  29. Gerald Gibson Jr says:

Thats fine… to each their own… but for someone that uses a PC just about every hour of every day for the past 15 years… well Windows is a much better choice. Unless you really NEED Final Cut Pro >-) …

  30. ForTruth says:

Compatability is a big problem when using Mac. Creative stuff is best on a Mac, and the rest is best on Windows. I use the garage band application quite a bit, and windows don’t have that.

  31. ForTruth says:

AL Gore’s neighbors didn’t want to see the solar panels though. So they had to be installed in locations in which they could not be seen.

I use Sony Vegas and Adobe After Effects and Premeire… no need for a mac nor final cut pro… I will grant that Apple used to blow Windows away in the artzy software field… but that was like 10 years ago… nowadays my $500 video card can handle anything an apple can.

My biggest apps that I use the most are FINALE and Dreamweaver and I love them on my Mac. I scanned almost every picture i had of all my kids and made DVDs for Christmas using iPhoto, iTunes, iMovie and iDVD. Wonderful apps and so easy to use.

  35. JG says:

I will never get this.. They are the party that cares about ‘life’, but the are the ones that want to blow everything up to do it..

Ok I admit it, I’m one of the unidentified officials, emailing all over the place, talking about prohibited stuff etc.

Ya thanks… I tell them the same as I tell all my clients… if you have a budget to build one version of an application are you going to build it for the largest platform or the least used platform? When a game company is considering making a multimillion dollar video game are they going to insist on making their primary audience the Sega or Atari crowd?
