Renzi concealed $200,000 payment.

By Nico Pitney on Apr 26th, 2007 at 11:44 am

Renzi concealed $200,000 payment.

“Rep. Rick Renzi (R-Ariz.) failed to disclose a $200,000 payment he received from a business partner in 2005 in apparent violation of House ethics rules. Prosecutors could use the omission as evidence that Renzi intended to conceal a transaction he knew to be controversial or even improper.” The fact that Renzi failed to report the payment fuels suspicions that the business partner, James Sandlin, “gave Renzi an illegal gift in exchange for action Renzi took to help Sandlin sell a $4 million parcel of land.”

That’s not my money! I was just holding it for my partner! Rep Jefferson had 95 grand in his freezer, I only had 200 grand, I mean it’s not mine! The democrats framed me! It’s a left wing conspiracy! I voted against the 200 grand before I accepted it, I mean, someone left it on my door step! It’s Bill Clinton’s fault! If you investigate me, you don’t support the troops!

This is what you get when stupid people vote in corrupt repukes, you get what you voted for, corruption, and we all know that repukes love their corrupt politicians.

How many Republicans have to be locked up before their foul stench is cleaned up?

  9. barfly says:

Maybe all the convicted republicans can form their own Big House gang, to keep from being anally raped so much.

Oh, I forgot: some of them will be looking forward to it.

ALL of them. The GOP is a criminal conspiracy and should be RICO’ed.

  13. bob (not the hacker) says:

yeah, but clinton lost 100,000 dollars in a land deal.

  14. the republic of stupidity says:

Have no idea what point you’re trying to make, Bobo the non-hacker.

Is it criminal to lose money in a deal? Wait, come to think of it, that’s rather devilish, losing $100K to cover up the trail of your much bigger, broader political agenda – the destruction of the US! You’re clearly hot on the trail of something BIG here, m’boy.

  15. Tom3 says:

what was criminal was spending hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to catch clinton in a perjury trap so the repukes could impeach him.

Okay. It’s hard to tell sometimes. It’s also next to impossible to talk w/ righties these days. They’re getting so desperate and shrill.

When two politicians of opposing parties are standing side by side the Democrat is easily identified. He is the one with his hands in his own pockets. Watch Renzi’s hands.

he’ll just call it an “unintentional oversight”

He should be asked if he reported any of the payment as interest on his tax return. If he didn’t, it’s hard for him to argue it was repayment of a debt as his lawyer is attempting to assert.

When you go from a *gossip*, source, to a *news* source, let us know Patrick1. When you figure out the difference, maybe you won’t be so *gullible* in your support for the “Culture of Corruption”. Hypocrite. Jake*ss.
