Fired U.S. Attorney John McKay, now a visiting professor at the Seattle University School of Law, will host two fellow purged prosecutors for a forum on the U.S. attorney scandal.
Joining McKay will be David C. Iglesias, the former U.S. attorney for New Mexico, and Paul K. Charlton, the former prosecutor for Arizona. McKay, Iglesias and Charlton are three of the most controversial firings of the eight ousted prosecutors, because they were either conducting sensitive investigations of Republicans or under fire for not prosecuting Democrats around the time of their dismissals on Dec. 7.
All three were also contacted by members of Congress or their staff at a sensitive time regarding ongoing criminal corruption investigations.
McKay’s forum will take place on May 9. Alberto Gonzales is set to testify before the House Judiciary Committee the very next day.
this is good… getting together may help them piece together the bigger picture of what happened as some of them will be able to provide bits and pieces that the others didn’t have… they ought to see how many others would be willing to join them… they should also transcribe the proceedings and send it to leahy…
And, yes, I DO take it personally
April 27th, 2007 at 2:47 pmWell, it’s just sour grapes, and Clinton, of course
April 27th, 2007 at 2:51 pmAlso at the same time:
4 people fired from the Bentonville McDonalds will be holding a joint forum as well. They will be discussing how they were fired for standing up for their rights. It appears that as people walked into the restaurant they would yell from the back “Don’t eat here, the food is fattening”. They are insulted that company would not keep them on the payroll and was “Squelching their right to Free Speech”.
One of the fired, Sandra Johnson stated “Plus the boss, Nancy was Like really mean and stuff. She would get real mad when I didn’t have fries down in time. She also didn’t like that I am like prettier than she is”
Tom Donaldson another fired Chef added “I mean their food is really fattening and hurting society, I am just trying to do my part. Also Nancy is a bimbo and stuff”
This should turn out to be a really enlightening forum.
April 27th, 2007 at 2:56 pmPurged…LOL

All you can do is mock a clear attempt at obstruction of federal justice, and efforts at electioneering with a st*pid childish joke? You’re pathetic.
April 27th, 2007 at 3:01 pmYeah, Tundra, whats going on? You don’t seem to be yourself. I have seen a bunch of posts that just don’t sound like the real Tundra today.
April 27th, 2007 at 3:14 pmUnfortunately, it costs $110 to get in.
