Kerry said that Bldg #7 at WTC on 9/11 was brought down deliberately. It undermines the official story of events and how they unfolded on 9/11.
If they refuse to admit this (EMTs and safety officials were all prepared for the demolition; news agencies were handed bulletins before it happened), it begs the quesion what else are they refusing to admit? Hence, the silence. http://www.propagandamatrix.com/articles/april2007/230407building7.htm

You may want to cancel that trip to RIO.
You’ve got more important issues in New York.
but please, do enlighten us to the graphic details you know, oh so well, about homosexual sex
What is the real reason to deny people the right to marry who they choose? Marriage is a civil ceremony between two people; a legal act that allows for certain tax, property and other privileges. For some marriage is a religious ceremony that requires a legal document. If you subscribe to a religion that opposes such unions, they won’t be performed in your church. But a religious ceremony shouldn’t be confused with a civil ceremony.
This is a legal matter – a civil matter – and there really is no good reason to prohibit it from people who desire it.
The problme Marie is that people think that marriage is a sacred partnering under God and it isn’t. To the US government it is a contract just like any corporation. The religious part of the ceremony is only icing on a legal cake.
11…There is no reason, other than the benefit republicans receive for using it as a wedge issue. Now that republicans are losing their power to instill fear in people over this, they will be looking for a new wedge issue soon.
What are the political prospects of this actually becoming law?
What are its chances in getting the support in the NY Legislature to get passed?
FYI, here in Oregon, we anticipate within the next week or so to pass Civil-Unions which grant the same stat-level rights and protections as civil-marriage (separate and almost equal). Still half a loaf as it were, but progress for equality under the law for everyone.
#17 clarification, the Oregon Senate is about to pass the civil-union bill, which has already been passed by the house and will then head to the Governor Ted Kulongoski’s desk to sign (which he has indicated he will do).
Considering that YOU think BUSH is a great president, then how can you judge? I mean, because Spitzer is educated, can formulate full sentences, is articulate, and not in the pocket of large corporations, you call him an IDIOT???
Poor soul, your illiterate, misinformed, and hopelessly lost in your IGNORANCE. You may wake up someday, but BIGOTS like you often never learn until it’s too late…

Couples who can’t procreate can’t get married. Sounds reasonable. I hereby declare null and void all marriage contracts between married couples who do not have children or do not intend to have children.
#31 The most moronic answer ever given. Marriage is not tied to procreation moron. Couples who can’t have, or never intend to have children can be legally married. Stop eating the paint chips dumb-ass.
Fine, Stevious, then the State should get out of the marriage-license business all together. A study to be published in the upcoming June edition of the American Journal of Public Health has researchers alarmed about growing rates of syphilis among homosexual and bisexual men. The overall number of syphilis cases in the United States continued to fall from 50,578 in 1990 to 7,177 in 2003. Nevertheless, homosexual men have seen their rates rise significantly in this decade.
Jake, I’m not sure what your point is. The issue here is legal: equal protection under the law, one of the rights guaranteed to all in the bill of rights of the US Constitution.
Under current law, partners unable to enter into a civil marriage — and their children — lack legal protections taken for granted by married couples. In such areas as property ownership, inheritance, health care, hospital visitation, taxation, insurance coverage, child custody and pension benefits, married couples receive important safeguards against the loss or injury of a spouse, and crucial insurance against legal intrusion into marital privacy.
We also don’t allow close relations, three, four, or more people to marry each other. Is that next? My point is that the State should get out of the marriage-license business all together.
Especially when I challenge you and you have no answer!

I get it. “You go girl” Meaning that since he is for equal protection under the law, he must desire to be a different gender. Spot on!!

Marriage is btween a man and a woman. Why? Because a man and a woman procreate. Refusing to change this is hardly discriminatory, it’s common sense!
