“A small group of student protesters, including one wearing a black hood and an orange jumpsuit, heckled Attorney General Alberto Gonzales as he posed with old classmates Saturday during their 25-year Harvard Law School reunion.” According to one protestor, Gonzales “looked really annoyed.”
Poor privileged baby!
April 29th, 2007 at 10:27 amI love the article –
“Say torture cheese!”
April 29th, 2007 at 10:27 ampoor gonzales, thank god he won’t recall it in the morning. the only reason he remembered which school to go to is because his wall showed a diploma from there dated 25 years ago.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:28 amI think Gonzales should be America’s test case at the ICC. America has been reluctant to join the International Criminal Court, but one case of crimes against humanity starring Alberto Gonzales as the defendent should convince Americans that the ICC is a good thing.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:32 amwell I guess the strike through doesn’t work….
April 29th, 2007 at 10:33 amToo bad Harvard didn’t revoke his degree.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:36 amI wonder how his classmates feel about the shining beacon of liberty and justice for all their old pal has become. Must have been interesting hearing the conversations when he wasn’t around.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:37 amIs he smart enough to be “annoyed?” I thought he could only make puppy dog eyes at Dubya and forget things.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:37 amYes it’s true, the Attorney General was there to dedicate the new wing of the Kennedy School of Government for the advanced study of memory reclamation and organizational obfuscatorial management.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:39 amI would not want to pose with that shithead?
April 29th, 2007 at 10:42 amI used to date a guy who worked in the Admissions offices at Harvard, and he said that once they let you in, they don’t fail you because it reflects poorly on their reputation of being super selective…
With Chimp and Abu as representatives of that ‘no fail’ policy, Harvard should rethink their strategy on this… Really.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:47 amgot this link from Rawstory –
http://www.jtmp.org/
It’s a remake of John Lennon’s Happy Christmas / War is Over.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:48 amThese awful people need to be confronted whenever they appear outside the bubble. Let Broder & Co. clutch their pearls; these are felons, fascists, and fools.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:57 amkeep eating the french fried paint chips gonzo, long term memory will be a distant curse…
April 29th, 2007 at 11:02 amand it’s only gonna go downhill from there, Gonzo…
April 29th, 2007 at 11:12 amHow can a guy be so f*cking clueless?
He actually thought he could go to this reunion, and experience no public consequences.
This isn’t the Bush Administration — it’s the Bubble Administration.
April 29th, 2007 at 11:26 amGonzales probably desired to have the students arrested, but he does not have Bush’s goons with him to do it.
April 29th, 2007 at 11:40 amharvard… whodda thunk it… really…
April 29th, 2007 at 12:22 pmi did not know that…
i still want to see the law degree…
I don’t think anything embarrasses him or humiliates him.
April 29th, 2007 at 12:30 pmRemember, as Jon Stewart pointed out, AG would rather look like a total pinhead than contradict Bush and his policies.
Like he’s going to remember anything in the morning…
(how did he remember he even WENT to Harvard? Do any of his classmates remember HIM, or is memory-loss a given in the trade?)
April 29th, 2007 at 12:32 pm> how did he remember he even WENT to Harvard?
the diploma on his office wall reminded him after he studied it for several weeks.
April 29th, 2007 at 12:35 pmThere are some folks out there who didn’t like Slobodan Milosevic either.

That’s nice.
April 29th, 2007 at 12:43 pmWhat no pictures/videos?
April 29th, 2007 at 12:46 pmI like the orange jumpsuit. Nice touch. I doubt it was lost on Abu.
April 29th, 2007 at 12:52 pmThis is one thing that annoys me.
I hate Gonzalez like the rest of you, but come on, heckling him at his law school reunion? That is fucking ridiculous and the people who did that should be ashamed of themselves.
April 29th, 2007 at 1:03 pmAccording to one protestor, Gonzales “looked really annoyed.â€
Quick, someone give Alberto a Purple Heart. Lord knows, those emotional wounds can take a lifetime to heal.
April 29th, 2007 at 1:13 pmGonzalez gets what he deserves.
April 29th, 2007 at 1:21 pm> AG would rather look like a total pinhead than
> contradict Bush and his policies.
Mission Accomplished
April 29th, 2007 at 1:39 pmANYONE who who pose for a photograph alongside this useless piece of human garbage is themselves a disgrace.
Absent a war crimes tribunal, this type of public humiliation should follow ALL members of this criminal administration for the rest of their lives.
April 29th, 2007 at 2:41 pmI’m TOTALLY peeved…
…heckled?
…they should’ve kicked his a*s…
…Ivy League pu*sies…
April 29th, 2007 at 8:04 pmHARVARD trained this little lump? Creeping Jeezus…
April 29th, 2007 at 9:40 pmChannel 5 WLVI Boston had the story last night but reported that he was so badly heckled during a speech that he had to leave midway through via a back door. I thought it was great that students at Harvard did that and wish Cheney and Bush would get the same treatment someday.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:03 pmI cannot believe that he went to Harvard Law School. I have friends who went there and believe me Gonzales isn’t in their league–my pals are bright and curious and intelligent–this guy must have either looked good on paper or he bullshitted his way through his interview.
When you get to be in your late 50’s you think you’ve pretty much seen a lot in life and then this–I mean I can understand Bush going to Yale as a legacy entrant but Gonzalez at Harvard–he looks like he’s the clerk in the Garden Department at Walmart.
My relatives went to school there but they made a contribution to society and made the world a little bit better–not like this asshole who is a disgrace–he should be disbarred.
April 29th, 2007 at 10:10 pmon the latest monica goodling
e-mails (document dump of friday):
i think what is missing
is more important than
what has been found, thus
far. i think too much is
being made — by very good
minds — about this particular
four word sentence.
[i've been off the grid for a bit. . .]
i think the e-mail they
DIDN’T send is more important,
and more damning, by far.
that’s just my $0.02.
and, “well-done, one and all!” to the
harvard law school students for calling
gonzo to account, at least in some small
way for all he’s done to undermine confidence
in the justice department under george bush. . .
good on ya’s!
