As for impeachment, neither President Bush nor Vice President Chaney have not committed any high crimes or misdemeanors.

And there isn’t a politician in Washington or anywhere else that’s going to indict another politician for saying something untrue otherwise they would all be guilty, every last one of them! They know it and they aren’t going to start down that slippery slope.

So give it a rest, reign in your fantasies and get a grip on reality!

Ideally this will be timed so that Impeachment is concluded around November 2008 and goes to trial in the Senate with a verdict mid January 2009 after the 21 Republican senators up for election in 2008 have been replaced and a new Democratic president, vice president and attorney general are in office.

This can begin the process of correcting the damage caused by the 10th Congress even as the remaining Republicans are considered for protection under the endangered species act.

Additionally, do not take the withdrawal language out of the military supplemental bill. Let the President veto bills with this language as many times as he wants.

Soon, The President will be under pressure to sign a bill with this language in it.

In my opinion, it seems that there are a lot of cowards running the United States of America.

I am referring to Senate Majority Whip Richard J. Durbin, D. Illinois, as reported in the Washington Times on 4/28/07. He was quoted as saying, “The information we had in the intelligence committee was not the same information being given to the American people. I was angry about it. Frankly, I couldn’t do much about it because, in the intelligence committee, we are sworn to secrecy. We can’t walk outside the door and say the statement made yesterday by the White House is in direct contradiction to classified information that is being given to this Congress.” This statement was made on 4/25/07 on the Senate floor about the run-up to the Iraq war in 2002.

Not speaking out against this country being taken to war illegally is an act of Treason!

It should be obvious to all that subversion against the interest of the people is about the worst crime possible.

Swearing secrecy to intentionally deceive the public and particular legislative bodies is treason in my books.

It is your public duty to do anything and everything in your power to stop the illegal war in Iraq as soon as possible. To do anything to the contrary would be considered support for a crime against the American people and crimes against humanity.

Defend the Constitution of the United States and this country against all enemies, both foreign and domestic!

Impeach Mr. G. W. Bush and Mr. R. Cheney post haste.

There is no happy ending to this saga.

Impeachment? Clinton was impeached, though not convicted. George’s handlers would do well to steer clear of too many comparisons between himself and Bill Clinton.

I assume that the reasons for taking the “I-word” off of the table, is that first, you must impeach Dick Cheney, and secondly, the Senate probably does not have the votes to get a conviction if Repugs vote according to party lines.

Doesn’t everyone agree that Dick Cheney can’t be allowed to become our President? Talk about a long, national nightmare…
