Inhofe, speaking to the press before Cheney’s arrival, lambasted Democrats for Thursday’s Senate vote to begin withdrawal from Iraq by Oct. 1 and the press for “mischaracterizing” the reasons for U.S. involvement.
“The whole idea of weapons of mass destruction was never the issue, yet they keep trying to bring this up,” Inhofe said. […]
Pressed for an explanation, Inhofe said weapons of mass destruction were “incidental” to the decision to invade Iraq.
“The media made that the issue because they knew Saddam Hussein had used weapons of mass destruction.”

So, Glenn Beck is having a propaganda fest on the hoax of Global Warming, is he? He is aware that recent freak weather events have made even the once delusional Howard the Down Under Duck recant and embrace the truth of climate crisis. It’s hard to believe that there are still people who think it’s not happening. I mean, it’s a pretty big gamble to take, don’t you think? If Beck is right, we just go on burning up oil until in runs out in 2050. If Beck is wrong, we all die of heat, hunger, and thirst in 2050.
I cringe when that fawning Beck starts sniggering like a 10 year old who’s said a naughty word. A guy who seems illiterate and makes things up and can’t stop propositioning the female news presenters. Sheesh! I can’t bear to watch him. I’m sure TP or MM will keep me posted if Beck pulls off something amazing, but I’m betting he just recycles the usual exploded myths of Global Warming deniers.

Instead, Inhofe can’t remember why the WH’s ruse of WMD was so important four & a half years ago. And why should he? He’s only one of the few people asked to send American troops into harm’s way, so why would he bother himself with the details. And yet the UN Security Council would not have passed that vaguely worded First Resolution without all that ranting about WMD. Regime Change is against the UN Charter. And the US Congress wouldn’t have backed the use of force without that “imminent threat” of WMD business. As it was, Congress and the UN were pleased with the work of the UN weapons inspectors. There’s no way the UN Security Council would have okayed a second resolution authorizing an invasion. And Congress would have withdrawn its support had the inspections gone on another month. (That’s why Bush was so eager to invade in “weeks not months”.)
Inhofe can’t remember all this. He doesn’t think the rest of America has a memory. He doesn’t think the people he represents will remember or care or complain. But over 3000 US troops have died and over 20,000 have been wounded and this IDIOT, this TRAITOR, this AMNESIAC.

When using the command form of a sentance, you should try and use the proper punctuation. The correct formatting would be, “Try being intelligent.” You will just confuse yourself trying to ask a question while trying to give a command. Deviant.
