I think this, unfortunately, is a quite human behaviour. Havn’t we seen it from politicians and other “world leaders” (companies etc) time and time over again – how facts are something that are to be changed into whatever’s convenient at then moment.
Well, getting ridth of ppl who make these lies is of course a good move to make a better world, even though I firmly believe that we have to find some other kind of “system” to really get around the problem.

Inhofe is from one of the most rednecked backwoods hillbilly states in the nation. He has been re-elected several times and could probably be either re-elected again or secure a nomination for governor in Oklahoma. Mind you, Okies belittle Arkansas as an inbred hillbilly state while Okies are out doing their nationally acclaimed cow chip throwing contest. For those who don’t know what a cow chip is it is the cow shit left in the pasture by cattle, yes it is a dried up piece of cow shit. Okies don’t mind picking these up with their bare hands and making a game of see how far it can me thrown. Ah, the intellect of Oklahoman’s, simply astounding, knock surrounding states without looking and their own. This is where Inhofe comes from, is it any wonder why he is a babbling buffoon, a complete embarrassment to Oklahoma and what is worse, those total morons who voted for him. They will vote for him again.

This joker has been an embarassment to our state for years (Okla.) but we hve a bunch of ditto heads living here whose only source of news is Fox and Rush and whose favorite entertainment is Wrestling shows, all with Bible clutched to chest. Really a fun place to live. In the first four years of Bush, the glory years of Republicans (I think some may even secretly embarrased) Inhofe was riding high. Denouncing global warming as a hoax (oh,how the energy corp. love him for that) was just one of his brainchild’s. He told a group of his followers here, “…and we’re going to get rid of the mushy middle”. Seems that mushy middle is a little larger than he anticipated. Nothing would please me more than to see him defeated by huge margins in the next election. After all, he made #3 in the most stupid congress person (missed the 1st place which went to Kathyn Harris from Florida and he doesn’t even have her big bosoms that she seems to be so proud of). Here’s hoping

I don’t know much about global warming, just that it’s demonstrably tru that it is happening (polar ice is retreating, etc.) and that 2500 of the world’s top climate scientists say they are 90% certain that it is being caused by emissions. So I can’t debate on that topic (although red flags go up when people start saying “it’s a conspiracy).

But you and Inhofe are playing the same tired old conservative game of deflect, deflect, deflect. Now that it’s impossible to deny that Iraq is a fiasco, Inhofe wants to pin the blame on someone he considers his political enemy, in this case the “media”.

Now you want to deflect criticism from Inhofe’s obvious self-contradiction and bearing of false witness by changing the subject to global warming. You think that if the “liberals” in this thread can’t or won’t rise to the challenge of debating your and Glenn Beck’s yet-to-be-made points on global warming, you’ve somehow discredited the whole of liberalism. And this in turn somehow exonerates Inhofe, the Bush administration, and the whole of conservatism.

So long as you can bash any liberal about anything, conservatives can do no wrong.
