Boehner runs from Renzi question.
House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) “walked away from a question about embattled Rep. Rick Renzi (R-AZ) at the end of a press conference today.” A reporter “stopped Boehner on his way out of the room and asked whether Renzi, who has not gotten much public support from GOP leaders as he faces a corruption scandal, should retire or resign. Though he seemed to have heard the question clearly — he was only about a foot away — Boehner turned and walked out, rather than answer. It seems to be part of a new strategy — Boehner’s spokesman didn’t return phone calls Tuesday about Renzi, either.”

reading about renzi’s comments today, it’s quite apparent that he is panic-stricken… coming out and delivering a statement laced with hysteria can only be the act of a man who knows his goose is cooked…

May 2nd, 2007 at 7:21 pmOff topic but significant: Just caught the tail end of Wolf’s conversation with John Edwards about the Iraq veto. John Edwards summed it up: We should send the bill back to the President and if he votoes it again, we’ll send the same bill back to him again….and again….and again”. He said that Bush uses the same empty political rhetoric to justify every law he’s broken from illegal spying to the lies about this war and that “he needs to be stopped”…amen to that! At least Edwards has the balls to stand his ground and fight for what he believes and not knuckle under. He also emphasized that the majority of americans are behind what the Congress is doing – standing up finally to this dictator who is destroying our country! amen…amen….amen!!
Edwards’s comments raised his level of electibility in my mind. Seeing his level of resolve and courage to speak his mind and not be intimidated by this bully is worth noticing.

This guy is pure slime and needs an investigation of his own with the Page Pedophile Scandal. His time will come and then he won’t be walking away from reporters when his neck is on the chopping block.

Let’s see….Columbia River Gorge, Washington Park Zoo, Powell’s Books (heaven!), Multnomah County Library (heaven, too!), OMSI, f*ck all places to shop, better weather than Seattle, and my son lives there.
