Former Gonzales counsel Monica Goodling “told a colleague two months ago her government career probably was over as the matter was about to erupt into a political storm, according to closed-door congressional testimony. Goodling…sobbed for 45 minutes in the office of career Justice Department official David Margolis on March 8 as she related her fears that she would have to quit, according to congressional aides briefed on Margolis’s private testimony to House and Senate investigators.”

Evidently, they, instead, thought that he needed to look into some bogus voter fraud issues – of course, these are not the real “voter fraud issues vis-a-vis hacking of our voting machinery) and because he questioned their rationale in wanting him to drop his murder investigation and gun control measures, he was fired. Clearly, this DOJ did not want an investigation into the death of Tom Wales – I wonder why??? I wonder why???????????????????????????????????

Now that we know that Gonzo was still “the small man behind the curtain” on all of these firings but used Goodling and Co. as his “fronts”, we can tear away the facade and get to the real culprit in all of this – Alberto VO5! Her boss supports and aids and abets Bush’s Iraq invasion which has cost thousands and thousands of lives and has maimed thousands and thousands of human beings. And little Ms Goodling is crying because she has lost her job? She needs to visit the trauma centers for wounded vets. She needs to visit Guantanamo and other prisons set up by this administration to hide from us the fact that we imprison human beings without due process (certainly Ms. Goodling and Mr. Gonzales should uinderstand that term). I have not sympathy for any of this White House staff. I truly do think they should all be forced to spend many, many community service hours reading to the wounded soldiers returning from the debacle that Gonzales, Bush, Rove, Cheney, et al have conjured up.
