What in God’s creation is it going to take to have justice served on the Bush Administration?
Bush, Cheney, Rice, or Rove can literally stand over a body, with a smoking gun in their hand, and ‘oh well, mistakes were made’ is all we ever hear; and then it’s on to the next scandalous maze of smoke and mirrors. It’s as if we’re now living in some twisted alternate universe!!!
Illegal wiretaps, sanctioned torture, signing statements circumventing the Legislature, numerous violations of the Hatch Act, treasonous outing of Valerie Plame, neglect of Katrina victims, lying to Congress to start an unjust war for profit, the plunder of a sovereign nations natural resources, and not to mention the real WMD elephant in the room- enabling Afghanistan to supply 90% of the worlds heroin along with the consequential gun running, drug dealing, money laundering, political corruption, human trafficking and HIV spread.

When will enough be enough? If impeachment isn’t on the table after all the aformentioned crimes, what message are we sending to future administrations- “Thank you, may we please have another?”

You seem to think the people only elected the executive office. More recently they elected a Democratic congress. The people kinda want you losers to pay for your indiscretions.

Or explain how Wilson’s chronic dyslexia resulted in him hearing those same 16 words but taking 5 months to write a one-page article revealing they were wrong.

Because otherwise Wilson seems to be be judged by a different standard to everyone else without any explanation as to why.

Chimpeach is right about not having the votes for impeachment. In addition and directly related to that sad fact is that if they fail to be impeached through the process, then they will also then be considered aquitted of all related charges and would, in that case, get away with it all. Although the sentiment of impeachment is in the right place, it seems more responsible right now, to me, to be more supportive of the “ongoing investigations”.

As a previous poster noted (which I can’t seem to find,) I too am enjoying the spectical of the wheels coming off the BushCo bus. I do have a problem getting too close, however, as the smell of desperation is rapidly turning to the stench of death. And we have to wait, it appears until Jan 2009 for the burial. It is a shame we can’t shorten the wake to a couple of days and bury the criminals on Nov 10, 2008. Immediately after impeachment and conviction would be ideal, but then why dream of wishes that don’t have time to mature.
