    Wha??? Where’s Stephen Colbert?

  2. Partisan and Proud says:

Who invited Gregory? He should be disinvited for his traitorous views.

  3. Chris L says:

OT, but worth the mention –

    From CNN:

Iraq’s top Sunni official has set a May 15 deadline for pulling his entire bloc out of the government — a potentially devastating blow to reconciliation efforts within Iraq. Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi told CNN: “If the constitution is not subject to major changes, definitely, I will tell my constituency frankly that I have made the mistake of my life when I put my endorsement to that national accord,” he said.

Dumber than a box of rocks. And if she didn’t hear it on Fox Snooze of Limbaugh’s show it didn’t happen.

NFL Quarterback and Bush supporter Peyton Manning

Now everybody keep in mind that Peyton Manning staged a Super Bowl “celebration” at the White House 3 months after the Super Bowl actually happened.

    Why? Was Bush too busy?

No. Go take a look at the date it happened and the date Pat Tillman’s brother Kevin Tillman testified in front of congress. That way sports writers would be all abuzz about football + White House instead of football + Congress.

Fu*king scum bag. I used to like him and rooted for him in the Super Bowl. Now I hope he breaks his throwing arm and never gets to play again.

One rich red neck is just like all the rest.

Petyon Manning is a great quarterback, and considered by many as the smartest and hardest working quarterback in the N.F.L.

Rosie wouldn’t go, neither would most of the posters here. Neocons are the hypocrites not progressives.

I’d rather see Colbert on the list, for the same reasons :)

I think the neocons have finally clued in that he’s satire after he spanked O’Reilly in his own house… Oh well, it was fun watching them think he was one of them while it lasted.

  15. Spudge_Boy says:

NBC White House correspondent David Gregory

Is a Chuck Hagel. He talks big, but reports nothing.

He is the one who said at the White House Press Corp meeting that it wasn’t the press’s job to root out and investigate politicians.

He believes he is a repeater, not a reporter.

Peyton Manning may be a great quarterback but apparently his thinking processes do not extend off the field, where he seems to be loathe in challenging the lies and superpatriotism [patriotism which does not seem to include military service for those who advocate war] that is put forth by this administration.

    Sorry to go off topic…

    But…

    ================================================
Worst job creation record since Hoover Administration. A growing economy should be good news for those seeking jobs. But over the course of President Bush’s term in office, his Administration has the worst overall job creation record since Herbert Hoover more than 70 years ago.

Overall non-farm payroll employment has increased by just 5.2 million since President Bush took office in January 2001 compared with 22.7 million during the Clinton presidency. Overall employment growth has averaged just 70,000 per month under President Bush – much lower than the approximately 150,000 jobs needed each month to keep up with population growth. It was not uncommon to see monthly job gains of 300,000 and even 400,000 during economic expansions under previous Administrations.

Private sector job creation has been especially poor during the Bush presidency, with an average annual job growth rate of only 0.5 percent per year since 2001. Just 3.8 million private sector jobs have been created during the Bush presidency, compared with over 20 million private sector jobs during the Clinton presidency.

The manufacturing sector, often the source of jobs with good pay and benefits, has lost three million jobs since the start of the Bush Administration. Nearly half of the jobs created since 2001 were part-time and freelance positions without benefits. This slow pace of private sector job creation is particularly troubling given that we are so far into the economic recovery.

Maybe our mad King George should have invited the new right-wing leader of France – to see if he is willing to send in a couple of hundred thousand French Hessian troops to bail out MKG from his failed imperial occupation of Eye-rack… After all, the USA bailed out the French in Indochina after the siege of Dien Bin Pho (sic) in 1954 and took over the support of the French puppet South Vietnamese regime. This French leader claims to love and support America; I wonder if this support goes as far as moving into a couple of nice Middle-eastern quagmires?

Of course, John, I’ve been speaking figuratively and, as a CPA, you may have problems with that.

We’re project based, and at this time, last weeks of school, we’ve taught our students so well that they are functioning on their own without the need for spoon feeding. Plus, I can grade projects during my planning period. Comes from having worked in Corporate America under strict deadlines.

“I do see that you post at the school, which is on a computer that my tax dollars paid for, hmmm?

John, how do you know Peyton Manning is not crazy? Do you know him?

My point is that if you can’t come up with any fact-based, quantitative reasons why you support a president who has been there for over 6 years, but you’re still a fervent supporter, you’re either crazy or stupid. Of course, John, I’ve been speaking figuratively and, as a CPA, you may have problems with that.

Hypocrite. Rosie O’Donnell has been in the public eye over 20 years and nobody every had anything bad to say about her until she started criticizing George Bush.

Elizabeth was on the view and ratings were in the toilet. O’Donnell came on and ratings went up 30 Nielsen points. ABC wanted to sign a 3 year contract and O’Donnell didn’t want to commit. She has already been negotiating her own show. She is a humanitarian that does incredible work for children.

Elizabeth was on the show Survivor and then came to the View. Impressive resume in show biz. Not. Of course you’ve never seen the show but YOU feel free to pass judgment on O’Donnell while you’re complaining about others passing judgment of Manning.

I don’t think he knows. He just posted a variety of times. Maybe they were all Sundays, holidays etc. I didn’t check. I just wondered why ask for proof and then ignore it and call him a stalker. Unless there is more to this, I didn’t see anything to make him seem like a stalker. And it’s real nice of you to attack me as well for just asking a question.

  180. JPark says:

You are defending an obvious troll. Why wouldn’t I attack you for asking an obviously loaded “question”?

That was kind of my point. If you think he is wrong, why don’t you check the dates to see if they are weekends. Then he has no valid argument. And thanks for the nice welcome JPark. Do you always jump all over people the first time you address them? I hope there are nicer people on this site.

I was a sub for a few months, trying to decide if I wanted to be a teacher or not (was an architect). I quickly got a job offer to teach Science because I took it more seriously than being a babysitter. There are alternative certification programs that allow this to happen in areas of high need.

This year I teach architecture at a public career academy. Most days I work late. But it’s the end of the year and because I’ve done my job well, my students are doing what they’ve been taught, lesson plans aren’t now necessary (5 days to go), and there’s nothing to grade until final projects are turned in next week. Plus, I’m not married to a pain-in-the-ass like you so that I need to fake working late and doing a lot of work at home like your wife.

You don’t know much about anything John… You really shouldn’t hang out here – it’ll get pointed out a lot.

If I were going to lie, I’d say I was a laywer or NASA big shot or neurosurgeon or oh – a CPA. But, it’s just easier to tell the truth (because the lies about me just crumbled). Try it yourself sometime.

She is now teaching at a private school after teaching the last 8 years in public school. However, I also know that she is off of work much more often than I am. She works 45 hours or so a week, and then gets 3 months off a year! Then you include all the holidays that corporate America does not get off and teaching isn’t the tireless grind that people make it out to be. She knows that, and loves the fact that during the summer we don’t have to pay any daycare, because she is home with our kids, which is much more stressful than teaching.

I love your site. They really look very nice. The articles provided are long enough to provide great content but not so long as to be totally engrossing, if you know what I mean.
