Companies reaping billions every years from selling gasoline and oil products..their ratio of profit to investment and capital is very high compared to other industries. How much does it cost to build a refinery...the bonuses alone of these big executive bosses in these oil companies alone can build few refineries. These oil companies on the other hand are generating huge profits that will build enought refineries to satisfy market needs... It is interesting that last year this time prices began to go nose diving,until November elections of 2006...then began to climb upward again...beginning this year of 2007. We were also told that the Iraqi war will help push the prices down before war started in 2003..When the war began..the average price was $1.30 per gallon.
