Wolfowitz’s top aide resigns.

By Satyam Khanna on May 7th, 2007 at 11:32 am

Wolfowitz’s top aide resigns.

Kevin Kellems, a key Wolfowitz aide at the World Bank who served previously as an adviser at the Pentagon in the run-up to the war and as Dick Cheney’s communications director, told Reuters he was “leaving for other opportunities.” “Given the current environment surrounding the leadership of the World Bank Group, it is very difficult to be effective in helping to advance the mission of the institution,” Kellems said.

Now if only Paul and hundreds of others like him would see the light, resign, and voluntarily report for sentencing.

ah-HA…! this is good, very good… kellems was, according to several sources, wolfie’s message-carrier… maybe he’s seen the writing on the wall…

And, yes, I DO take it personally

Particularly when sunlight is pumped up your ass & everyone else can see what the ‘true’ agenda is behind Wolfowitless’s plan.

Let’s hope Wolfowitless practices abstinence with his job, too.

  6. Spudge_Boy says:

Good, bring these scumbags to justice. Wolfowitz is one of the signatures on PNAC’s “Rebuilding Americas Defenses” and probably added the “new Pearl Harbor” part of the manifest.

    “leaving for other opportunities…”
(Perhaps the opportunity to start packing for Dubai?)

  8. Devil's Advocate says:

Kellems is leaving a $250,000 — tax-free job –? Must be some oportunity! Methink that he was told in no uncertain terms to clear out…

Bit by bit, the neo-con empire is collapsing.
Couldn’t be more pleased to see the ultimate end of this bunch of crooks. The world will be better off for it, thank
    the Lord for small favors.

It is about time that this bunch of lying, thieving, and
corrupt group meets it’s just end. A thank you to the good lord for small favors received.

Whilst I think this gets the new week off to a wonderful start, I have to wonder what sort of useless, corrupt, incompetent book-licking fraud Wolfie will just promote into the position?

    Monica Goodling? Jeff Gannon? Brownie!

  12. Pete Bogs says:

everyone’s “aides” are resigning… we need the actual people to resign! Wolfie, Gonzo, Rove, Bush, Cheney, et al

  13. TheHeathen says:

So, what is the real reason he’s leaving?

Did he get caught doing something wrong or inappropriate?

    Hmm.

  14. kritter says:

Maybe Wolfie can be W’s new War Czar after he’s drummed out of the World Bank, with Kellems as his deputy!
