Retired generals slam Bush policy in new ads.

VoteVets.org has launched a series of ads featuring two retired Army generals who commanded U.S. forces in Iraq. The ads “are airing in states and districts of those Members of Congress who are very close to breaking with the President on Iraq, and joining the troops and American people.” Watch the first ad:

Need more Leading Generals like this.
Imagine the Awesome responsibility of just a one star Chinese general protecting over a BILLION Chinese citizens.

  4. Republicans are the Fear and Smear Party says:

Why do retired Army generals who commanded US forces in Iraq hate our freedom?

  5. Shane says:

That is powerful. Only thing is it should be aired in every state for every citizen to see.

  6. Texas Juice says:

WELL, they are going to be accused of giving aid and comfort to the enemy, although the accusers don’t have a fuc*ing clue about what gives aid and comfort to our enemies in the GWOT(Global War on Terra).

I am sure these generals will be vilified and called off base and out of touch, by the very folk that got us into this mess and their supporters. How folks can still support the foolheaded debacle in Iraq is beyond comprehension. I guess you can FOOL some of the people ALL of the time. I LOVE MY COUNTRY, I HATE THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION’S WAR IN IRAQ!

Question: How does Bill O’Lielly conclude that if you do not support the BUSH admin’s talking points, you hate your country? Has he been drinking their KOOLADE that much?

cheny went to Iraq to collect hearts from massacred people for himself and his families !!

“Once safely ensconced in Baghdad’s fortified Green Zone, however, Cheney appeared to reserve his toughest language for his normal target — the press. Cheney held a lot of photo ops with key Iraqi leaders like Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, but was adamant about not taking questions. At one point, Cheney emphasized to the assembled journalists [...]

Good ad. Pointed and direct. Of course, the wingnuts will dismiss this retired general as a malcontent “Why didn’t he speak up before?!” but there’s nothing that can be done to save their souls anyway.

i love it… it’s about time ‘Joe America’ finally figured this one out…

Batiste is a courageous man of integrity. He passed up a promotion, and took retirement instead, when he could no longer serve his commander in chief.
Bush went through several generals before latching on to Petraeus.

I saw a guy from this organization debate some right wing bimbo from a San Fran. radio show. She could not put together a single point except the usual tirade of “your helping Al Queda” and “we want victory”. It was really pathetic that she claimed to represent an organization that supports the troops, but only the ones that tow the official line.

  14. Democrat Soldier says:

Pres. Bush was against the Generals before he was for them.

Originally, the Generals were saying the occupation of Iraq was a quagmire and that we shold get out while the getting was good for the US.

After Pres. Bush fired the Generals (or they took retirement before they could be fired) the only ones left were the ones drinking the neo-con kol-aide.

We are going to have to drag this empty box, Dubya, out of the White House, kicking and screaming…the idiot is an untreated alcoholic.

Judy Woodruff interviewed John Solz or Schultz from Vote Vets. org., and Melanie Morgan last night on The News Hour.

Morgan was her usual shrill, inarticulate, babbling fool. She could not make a single argument for staying in Iraq. It was all platitudes concerning her half-assed organization. The guy she was arguing has served in Iraq and she would have none of what he was saying. She is a syncophant and an empty headed fool.

Also, she was botoxed to the point where her face was kinda crooked and bloated. It wouldn’t crease it was like wood but lopsided. Also, her left false eyelash looked like it was about to fall off.

She couldn’t offer any valid reasons to support her position so she kept trying to attack. Pathetic fool.

  18. buzzbomb says:

Yeah, her face was so botaxed up. Combined with her shrill voice, interrupting the other guy and lame slogan talking points, I wanted to throw something through the TV.

  19. Lora says:

    #12 and #17
I saw that program, too. Not only was Melanie Morgan shrill, inarticulate, and spewing the usual neoCON talking points, but she was also so rude, interrupting the veteran a number of times and trying to yell over him. If this is what the 28-percenters follow, their IQs really must be within the same numerical range.
