“Former Los Angeles Times Baghdad Bureau Chief Borzou Daragahi says he doubts the ’surge’ in Iraq will work, and describes Iraq citizens as ‘hostile’ and ‘humiliated’ after four years of war. Asked by Brian Lamb, in a forthcoming C-SPAN interview, about his personal views on the war, he replied: ‘I think at this point, it just — it seems like it’s become a disaster. I mean, I don’t think anyone could dispute that. It’s just going very, very, very, very badly.’”
Did anyone tell Bush and Cheney?
May 10th, 2007 at 9:45 pmthis is what religious fundamentalists will do. they believe, they don’t think.
May 10th, 2007 at 9:48 pmThis just in from Captain Obvious:
Everybody hates an occupier – especially one which treats the people as lower class humans because they couldn’t ‘liberate’ themselves… what percentage of US troops will turn a blind eye to mistreatment of civilians…?
May 10th, 2007 at 9:48 pmTrolls believe that the war is going very, very, very, very well.
May 10th, 2007 at 9:55 pmDid anyone tell Bush and Cheney?

May 10th, 2007 at 10:48 pmA long sigh — of course there is no point where they’re concerned.
“Did anyone tell Bush and Cheney?” – Marie @ 1
Millions tried last November. Didn’t matter.
May 10th, 2007 at 11:29 pmI knew this 4 years ago, so welcome to the club of fully awake Americans against the Bush Regime.
May 11th, 2007 at 12:15 amWhat is the point? BushCo. doesn’t care about the feelings of the Iraqis.
May 11th, 2007 at 1:43 amNarcissists don’t care about the effects of their actions.
May 11th, 2007 at 2:22 amI think at this point, it just — it seems like it’s become a disaster. I mean, I don’t think anyone could dispute that.
He hasn’t read a thread at ThinkProgress, has he?
The trolls and their Dear (mis)Leader still deny it.
May 11th, 2007 at 3:06 amAbout 28% of Americans seem to be clinically insane. We’re going to have to get them out of our country somehow, or the country is doomed.
May 11th, 2007 at 6:30 amWho cares if Iraqis suffer. They’re the enemy.I will stick to the Repug propaganda and i will cheer the Chimp.
They told me so.As a sectarian repug,i’m a dumbass and i cannot think properly.
May 11th, 2007 at 7:21 amIsn’t it clear? All this administration wants from Iraq is what’s below the sand, not the welfare of PEOPLE. Anyone who has been to Iraq, with the exception of the administration and its cheerleaders, says it’s a total disaster. This war has been a mistake from the beginning in terms of its rationale and strategy. But the Commander Guy is too determined to get at that oil to divert from his original bad idea. He’s not going to listen to the American people, even though they have spoken in the election polls and survey polls, until they give him a real wakeup call, such as impeachment or other court action.
