18 dead in Iraq car bombs.

“Two suicide car bombers struck checkpoints at Baghdad bridges within minutes of each other Friday, killing at least 18 people despite increased American efforts to target the insurgent networks planning deadly vehicle attacks.”

Anticipating firehead and Jake and patrick1:

1) This is more proof that the surge is working, since the terrorists have to resort to suicide bombs;
2) Why won’t the liberal media report on all of the good things happening in Iraq?
3) Liberals are hoping for more deaths, since that’s apparently what bleeding hearts do, and since liberals hate America and should be executed.
4) We should torture everyone, especially Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

5) I am so smart, which is why I’ve consistently said things that turned out to be incredibly wrong, while criticizing as idiotic, unpatriotic, or uninformed things that have consistently turned out to be true. I am also very self-aware, which is why I can continue to believe that everything I am spouting, which is exactly the same as everyone else who consistently listens to Rush, watches O’Reilly and Hannity, and supports the President, is completely correct, despite my 100% track record of being previously wrong. Iraq will turn the corner, the surge will work, there is no unconstitutional or criminal behavior occurring in the Bush administration, Iraq is having a great impact on reducing Islamic terrorism, despite the fact that all the fundamentalists were, umm, not in Iraq, the Bush tax cuts will pay for themselves, those estate taxes only affect small businesses, the economy really is going good despite the fact that median and 25% wages have dropped under Bush and consumer savings have gone down for approximately 1/10 of the growth occurring under the Clinton administration, evolution is a liberal myth, universities are place for fancy pants liberals who don’t know anything about anything, and I prefer being self-edumucated, preferably from a Bible-only home-school course.

Yawn. More dead (murdered) people. It’s ridiculous to even pretend to care about Iraqis after we’ve been killing them off for FOUR years. The lack of comments here illustrates American apathy to this situation perfectly.
