Living in Europe, I am well aware of Bush family ties to supporting the National Socialist and Fascist movements of Mussoline through
"secret society" connections.

The National Socialist movement coalesced around the "thule group" in Munich, after the massive trauma of W.W. I where no one backed down and millions of troops died uselessly on both sides.

It had "secret society" connections, and was a typical - "bulwark and battering ram against Bolschevism". Even more bizarre, it was also a branch of Alistair Crowley's highly gnostic "order of the New Dawn".

Crowley was ethnologist working on assignment for British Intelligence.
For example, he reported on the STRANGE My Lao tribe of Southern Laos - where the shamans had a neat trick for those tribesman who violated their tabus.... they could force the apostate tribesman to go out into the jungle and simply strangle themselves. And Crowley was sent down there to find out how they did it. Later, he spent time in Tibet.

The holy tibetan wheel, a gold on blue "swastika" representing the dynamics of life with a clockwise rotation, was deliberately distorted by Alistair Crowley.... to a counter-clockwise rotation, with a black "swastika" on a red background. The symbol of death and destruction, with the black representing the devil, and the red satan.

It was not an Aryan symbol at all, but an English "secret society" design by "the beast himself".

Down in Italy, Crowley's good poet buddy, Ezra Pound, was helping Mussolini take advantage of the post war trauma in setting up the
"Radical Syndicalist Party".

Now, the Bush Harriman bank channeled money to both. When the National Socialist Party crystallized out of the gnostic Thule group, the Bush - Harriman bank provided them with the funds to purchase a
bankrupt "New Age" newspaper providing hope about a "life after death" - understandable after so many soldiers saw so much Mayhem, called
the People's Observer" (" volkische beobachter").

The Nazis were as much "our bastards" as a bulwark and battering ram against Bolschevism as later Al Qaida during the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan.

And who paid for their rise in a post w.w. one German democratic republic out of sheer paranoia about Bolschevism. Members of the the New York Scottish Rite Lodge of Free Masonry. Stendahls "Le Rouge et Le Noir" all over again on a much more massive scale.

Many of today's Germans are also aware of the connection. So a joke
of mine is going around well here:

"What is the difference between America under George Bush and modern Germany? The Germans have it behind them."

"Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Amerika unter Bush und das Moderne
Deutschland? Die Deutschen haben es hinter sich."

Now onto the Republican congress. Lincoln said it: "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time."

We can very easilly put a double bind on the president and the Republican congress about "supporting our troops". It goes like this....
either set a definite timetable for getting our troops out by mid 08, or reinstate the draft."

As a Nam vet, I clearly understand how Iraq is destroying the country's all volunteer Army. Recruitments are way down? Re-enlistments are way down? Officer commission extensions are way down.

Troops spend less than an average of 1 year at home, and then are sent back for another 15 months of duty, creating more physical and psychic damage just because one massive "authoritarian narcissist ego" in the White House cannot "do a tenth step" and admit to the American people he is wrong.

the fundamental fact of the matter is, Iraq is destroying America's ready fighting force. How are you going to keep fighting the war with an all volunteer Army. Sure has me stumped.

So, in addition to tacking on a withdrawel timetable on every funding measure for Iraq, congress can add an or to the measure, namely re-instate the draft.

Give the Republicans a crystal clear set of alternatives: "Either you withdraw our tired and exhausted troops from Iraq by mid 08, or you sign a bill to reinstate the draft." That will shut them up on the "patriotism" thing real fast.

It is called "imperial overreach". And everybody knows it. The Iraqi restistance to the invasion knows it. "With what Army?" The longer the U.S. stays in under current conditions, the weaker its actual defense capacities. With what army? And how can you finance it? By borrowing more billions from abroad. The borrowing rate is currently 6 billion a day.

And about the only thing left that the U.S. has to export are fast food franchises, Hollywood t.v., films, "gansta music", and of course....
porn.

Last year, Germany exported over 65 billion euros of high tech goods to the United States. The U.S. exported about 75o million in basically
software rights, entertainment, and sheer, unadulterated porn.
(A porn movie is completed every 36 minutes in the U.S. and exported abroad via internet, etc. A drop in the bucket for the miserable balance of payments. ) Piss poor environmental products, piss poor environmental policy. Piss poor policies about sex - but lots of porn to everybody.

What does the U.S. have to offer the E.E.C. except Bushit and boobs?

Really, it often makes me ashamed to be an ex-pat American here in Germany. I'd much rather be here than in "dumb-fuck" Texas near
Tom Delay, or near a goofy political, slut mouthed groupie like
Anne whats er face. (Goodness, I suffer from Republican erectional dysfunction..... I could not even imagine a one night stand with a republican neo-con bitch who never grew out of pugnacious puberty even if one were strapped to my stomach and I were given an overdose of Viagra. As a matter of fact, I couldn't even imagine a one night stand
with a Republican, neo-con bad mouthed bitch even with the Shrub's short Dick Cheney.

Just for the fun of it, I recently took a brown magic marker, and wrote
Anne Coulter on a piece of toilet paper. I carried it to Munich's English Garden where people parade their dogs and their clothes on a Sunday.
Spying a female dog in heat followed by a few hot male dogs, I followed.
When the bitch dropped a bit of what Bush Sr. called "doggy doo", I dropped the paper on it, and half the male dogs in that part of the English Garden came by and raised their hind legs in salute of Anne Coulter.
(Thanks to French wit Rabelais for the tip from "Gargantua and Pantagruel.")

Anyhow, have a nice day.

P.S.
I came across a good poem by K Doering and F. Buelow for
all those Perfect Pompous Repugnican congressmen:

"The Perfect Prayer for Perfect People"
"Oh almighty, do accept,
we're so perfect and adept.
Henceforth, let our names be praised.
Otherwise all hell be raised. Amen"

And the Shrub can end his attendance at Midtown A.A. meetings
after the "serenity prayer" with_
"So lie on your back. It squirts if you jerk it. So jerk it,you're worth it."

Unfortunately unions have to be included in the corruption. Whether it's a response to loss of job security or simply human nature, many rank and file union members abuse the system that was meant to protect them from favoritism and unfair management practices. While not as large a problem as drug and oil companies, it still represents a loss of integrity among our people.

There are 227 comments on this as I make mine; it has meandered from the GOP to Taxes, to Big Corps, to Drugs. Now that is America in action.
The Democrats & Republicans all voted on every thing, even before 911. So, what makes them different now? Bush & company still do what they want, not what it appears we the people are begging for.
Again, everyone characterizes Unions as evil & hold back on the power & greed of Corporations. Surprise! Unions are made up of "working people,” with families to feed & shelter, who dream of a better life for their children. Evil suckers, huh?
Oh, yeah, those middle class folks are diminishing in numbers because of out sourcing, plant closures, our dependence on foreign production of manufactured goods & services, high-energy cost brought on by the greed for profit of the energy companies. Not to long ago, the news was over the deaths of pets, because Chinese additives to dog food, no one connects that the de-funding of our governmental agencies, brought on by excessive War funding & Tax breaks, leaves few FDA, OSHA, DOJ, agents or police, firefighters, etc. to the public welfare. How bout decent roads, pure water, breathable air? There are laws, just no money, because it is funneled to that 1-2% some here are so hot to defend & aspire to, empatize with. Both Democrats & Republicans bring all of this to you. And, we the people who voted for these traitors over & over again. National defense is our society’s structural safeguards. If buying American means spending more good, if the expenditure does goes to American workers, not the accounts of the Global elite. That 1-2% again, a club old money controls the gates to, we aspire to it, but dreams are dreams reality is Big Pharma, hides research allows over 100,000 deaths then takes affirmative action & removes the product, after billions in profit, all for something aspirin can do for pennies. Impeach Bush et al then we can begin to accept both parties are changing for the good of the people & America, until then it is BS.

Why are Republicans so anxious to please the president? Or, perhaps the better question is, why are they so afraid of speaking out against him?

C’mon, now Z. Why do ya wanna go and be that way?
F*ck the people who need those drugs now! My poor mama has to spend about $1000 a month to buy the drugs she needs to survive. Luckily, she and my dad have excellent medical and drug benefits through my dad’s various retirement pensions.

But, guess what? She prays that she’ll die before my dad, because when he’s gone she’s up shit creek without a paddle. How’s that? F*ck her, right?

If you need their product to survive, you should be thanking the drug companies instead of demonizing them.

But they’re not. They’re getting a free ride by not having to pay on every dollar earned into FICA like the rest of us middle-class Americans.

Tell me, even if you decide to merge the 2:

How does the 7.65% you pay in FICA measure up to the 35% that others have to pay on their marginal income?
