“Iraq’s parliament has approved a measure calling for an end to the building of massive security walls around Baghdad neighborhoods. The walls have drawn protests across sectarian lines as evidence of a U.S.-backed strategy of divide and rule.”
What>? No concentration camps?>
Jeez, how is the surge ever going to know who’s a Shiite and whose a Sunni? Maybe selling programs like they do at baseball games?
Didn’t Congress approve building walls around the US borders?
Boy Bush is such a bimbo. He wants the Iraqis to stand up and when they do, boy Bush just ignores them. Guess he won’t be too happy when the Iraqi Parliment takes a 2 month vacation WITHOUT signing the oil bill. After all, they can wait us out until January 2009 when boy Bush and darth Cheney leave office. The Iraqis already know the timeline for US troop withdrawal.
Let’s see, the “insurgents” have already infilitrated the walled Green Zone and they know all the streets and alleyways of Badgdad, so should we take bets on how long it will take for the insurgents to infiltrate the walled off areas of Badgdad? And besides, who’s the “good guys” and who’s the “bad guys” and how will the wall separate the two? Maybe we can send cowboy hats to the Iraqis and they can choose; black or white or both.
BUT IT WORKED IN BERLIN!?!?

Damn straight my niger
May 14th, 2007 at 11:46 amThose walls are a great idea. They will reduce violence in the area . . . just as soon as ladders and grenade-launchers are outlawed.
lol
May 14th, 2007 at 11:49 amMr. Prez, don’t say that word on this blog. A lot of people find that offensive, sardonically used or otherwise.
May 14th, 2007 at 11:50 amThis is part of our strategy to unite the Iraqis by finding them a common enemy - us.
