Perhaps they should rename the “Green Zone”…lately it hasn’t been all that ‘green’…

    What a great idea.

Then the administration can claim that the surge is working since nothing has happened in the green zone.

  4. ∞Ω says:

Maybe they need to turn around and do the surge INSIDE the Green Zone.

But, but, but: It was such a safe place when I visited there a few weeks ago on a rug buying trip with a few friends.

  7. Evil Spaniard says:

The embassy workers that were asking for improveed rooftops had it coming…

This is big news. More and more attacks are getting through the Green Zone defenses.

And were being told that the surge is working and that we need to give it more time. Really?

  9. Jay Randal says:

Iraqi insurgents will probably dig under the walls into the Green Zone eventually and launch a suicide Vietnamese “Tet Offensive” type attack.

  10. bob (not the hacker) says:

But, it was more dangerous when clinton was president…

This is what happens when political leaders think their military force is the most powerful on earth.

This disaster is a Emperor Bush’s. No one else is to blame.

  12. Choclate Jesus loves anulingus says:

pretty soon for they are going to need to rename it the Yellow ZOne on account of the color of the stains running down the occupants legs from the increasing attacks…
