The testimony she gives may be quite something, if we are to assume she will tell all that she knows and the right questions are asked. But, I won’t hold my breath.

  3. BottomBoy says:

    Heh.

She’ll stonewall like the Berlin Wall. Just watch.

  4. Bob says:

This ought to be good…mel-o-drama…what’s the deal?

  5. JPV says:

I wouldn’t get too excited by this news. I can pretty much guarantee that she will have about as good a memory as Speedy Gonzales had while testifying.

KKKarl is going to be having trouble getting into goverment buildings in the upcoming weeks. It’s hard to pass security when you’re SWEATING BULLETS.

  7. veritas says:

I believe now Monica will have “nothing to lose” in telling the unvarnished truth; in fact, she can come off as being the “savior” of this democracy if she does. It’s now obvious that Comey’s testimony has opened a Pandora’s Box of high crimes and misdemeanors pointing to the White House. It’s also clear that Gonzo perjured himself vis-a-vis his February 6, 2006 testimony and the conflicting testimony given by Comey yesterday. I’d say that this White House is “finished except for the cryin’, the impeachments, and the prison time.

The Administration and GOP’s “house of cards” is coming tumbling down. And it can’t happen one moment too soon if this country is to be saved from itself.

    Fantastic!

At the current rates, that is only 400 Iraqi and 27 American bloody and mutilated corpses from now.

We Americans are so advanced and civilized that we are not only able to ignore our murdering of innocent foreigners, but we are also able to ignore the same for our own “lesser” citizens.

  9. Zooey says:

This will be a great show, whether she sings or stonewalls.

I’ve got $1 that says she sings like a frickin’ canary.

The committee better stock up on tissues…..

Not when immunity for her hangs in the ballance. If she refuses to testify, immunity can be yanked.

  11. Shlomo says:

No such thing as a Republican ‘falling on their sword’. She will be struck with the same amnesia/senility that infected her former boss.

Do not get your hopes up. She wouldn’t be testifying if it could, in any way, harm the GOP.

  12. BottomBoy says:

veritas: “she can come off as being the “savior” of this democracy”

    LOL!

You’ve got no idea how hilarious I find your childish outbursts of hope and faith in some quaint ideas like those expressed in your post. Savior, democracy,… come on!

  13. Spudge_Boy says:

    leftcoast,

Her immunity is based on her testifying. If she tries to plead the fifth or dodge questions, she will be giving up here immunity deal.

  14. Shlomo says:

    re: immunity

She aleady has immunity by virtue of being a Bushie.

The point is that she CAN”T stonewall as you think she will. You are pretty friggin’ thick man. Or do you prefer woman?

  17. BottomBoy says:

#17: Of course she can stonewall, break the deal and go to jail. It’s all about buying time.

    Buying time for WHOM???

  19. Buck Fush says:

Well they certainly have had enough time to practice and get their stories lined up now. Don’t expect to get much, they have had too much time to cover their tracks.
But if she tells the TRUTH that would be a wonderful surprise.

    Hating the Repukian liars daily

  20. William Dunbar says:

Monica’s $800/HR lawyer (and how’s she paying for this, anyway?)
would be pretty stupid if he:
    a. didn’t get her to confess/sing-about everything she can possibly charged with WHILE under oath (if she hides something, she can still be prosecuted……this is her ONE chance to void any criminal acts)
    b. let’s her commit testimony (and for his $$$, he HAS to have completely debriefed her evil doings)

  21. BottomBoy says:

#19: Wouldn’t you like to know. (Oh, and it’s “for whom or what”).

Buying time for what? To make Gonzales and the rest of the loyal bushies look bad. That is you peoples biggest problem. If something is wrong, you should get it out of the lime light as fast as possible. But, this latest crop of criminals can’t figure that out. They just keep dragging their feet and allowing the American public to see not just the problem itself, but all of the other problems attached to the original problem.

It is actually quite amusing if it didn’t also contain the deaths of American soldiers.

Monica Goodling…Regents Univ grad…first loser from there of many to come….it’s a 4th tier (LOSER) law school…pumping out moron Christianistas to attack our democracy and replace it with a fundamentalist Jebus cult theocracy!!!

The facist christionistas must be stopped.

ANYONE, ANYWHERE, THAT PROMOTES THE REPLACEMENT OF DEMOCRACY IN THE USA WITH ANY OTHER FORM OF GOVERNMENT, INCLUDING A THEOCRACY, IS AN ENEMY OF THE USA AND SHOULD BE CHARGED WITH TREASON AND TRIED IN A COURT OF LAW BEFORE A FREE THINKING JURY OF OUR PEERS, NOT THIERS!!!!

  24. Republicans are the Fear and Smear Party says:

Goodling will mysteriously disappear over the weekend and her suicide note will say that she agrees with everything Gonzo says.

Sorry, I assumed you might have enough intellegence to think things through.
I should not have assumed that with someone who thinks the idea of breaking laws and “party first” is ok could make an intuitivestep forward.

Totally my fault, go back to your koolaide break.

Sounds like a good basis for a drinking game. One shot for every “I don’t recall” and “I don’t know”.

  27. waldo says:

She’s a weak, malleable, inexperienced and incompetent tool of the Gonzo judiciary, and she will crack like an egg on the concrete before the third questioner even begins.
Watch for the christian-style martyr syndrome.

Two shots for every “Mr Gonzales told me to.” And a rimshot for every “Mr Rove told me to.”

I’m going to need to take the day off and watch C-SPAN.

I would think she’d be more concerned with crossing her god.

One potential witness just checked out yesterday.

  34. osage says:

Goodling will have to provide the names of the individual(s) who suggested which USAs were to be placed on the list for firing/being pushed out, which will expose the involvement and or perjury of Sampson, McNulty, Gonzales, Miers, Rove and or Bush. She can’t testify that she doesn’t know/remember WHO in the DOJ and the WH provided the names on the list without being subject to perjury charges. As liason between the DOJ and the WH, she can directly involve persons in the WH, not only in purposefully participating in the illegal removal USAs for partisan political reasons, but also in covering up the WH’s involvement in high crimes and misdemeanors. It is my belief that at the very least she will incriminate Sampson, McNulty and Gonzales, and either Miers or Rove. I don’t she how she could get away without incriminating others since it was her contention in claiming the 5th that she could incriminate herself by testifying. Does anyone believe that a government employee working as liason to the Bush/Rove WH was being directed exclusively by McNulty/Gonzales with no input or direction from the Bush/Rove WH? Not a chance in Hades!

  35. trippin says:

Now Darlin’, this is the LORD talkin’ to ya, see? I’m speakin’ to ya through my loyal servant George Dubya Bush. And I has ta tell ya, y’all best not fold on me now — heh heh heh snort! Y’see, as LORD, I value loy-uuul-teeeeee above Uh-mare-eeeeek-uh every time, y’see?

Remember what my good ol’ buddy Pat usta tell ya — y’know, Pat — I called him “Patty Poo” because he always had shit in his drawers — anyhow, ol’ Pat tolja when he gave you that bullshit fourth tier law degree: whatever you do, for the love of Jesus, please don’t say anything that could hurt us.

Y’see, Monica, the LORD is on a Crusade against these heathen Mooslums that Satan put on our oil. And he’s appointed me, Dubya, to make sure the nation is following His will. These Mooslums haven’t accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and so they’re going straight to hell, so the good LORD asked me to give them a little bit of hell on earth.

That’s why it’s so important for you, Monica, to keep your mouth shut if you want to serve the LORD. We know those evil Democrats are Satan Incarnate just like the Mooslums and they want to tear down our Godly plans. So they’re trying to get me, Monica.

So now more than ever, I want — er, I mean, the LORD wants you to keep your goddamn mouth shut, and if you open it, to lie your Little Miss Prissy ass off. Y’hear? And if you do that, the LORD will guarantee you a place by His side for eternity, at his Big House Up In The Sky. Imagine that: serving the LORD iced tea all day. Think about it, my child.

  36. Shuichi says:

Oh yeah! I’ve been waiting for this! Added it to my Outlook, don’t wanna miss this lolmonicagoodling.
