NBC planning ‘big exposé’ on ‘Magic Negro’ song.
Rush Limbaugh: “The wizards at the Today Show plan, on Monday, to do a big exposé on my parody tune “Barack, the ‘Magic Negro.‘” Limbaugh says he is sending “encyclopedic documentation” to NBC showing “the brilliance of it, the humor of it.” We’ll see how much of that NBC incorporates into its report.

Perhaps NBC will touch on the racial stereotyping by George W. Bush. For example, there is this jaw-dropper from jis January 12, 2005 town hall meeting with a primarily African-American audience to sell his failed Social Security privatization scheme:

I hate what Rush Limbaugh does. That having been said, I think that using stupid, poorly formed puns like “Limpballs” is childish, unfunny, makes it less likely that anyone will read the rest of your comment or be persuaded by it, and reflects poorly on you.
“Limpballs” is reaaally a stretch anyway. Maybe you don’t know male anatomy, but the testicles retain the same consistency – they are not alternately “limp” and “erect”.

You just might be right when I think about it.
After all, GDumbya does this all the time. For instance, he called Asst. AG Comey “Cuomo” back when he was acting AG and resisting signing off on an illegal wiretapping program. He calls Rove “Turdblossom” — what’s that all about? He calls Karen Hughes “Sugar Tits” — what ever happened to her, anyway.
Limpballs does it too — “Dingy” Harry, etc.
I guess what it all comes down to is that turnabout is fair play when it comes to giving these folks nicknames. Neither their behavior nor their treatment of other people entitle them to the respect of calling them by their given names.

It would be the LA Times that is at fault in the Magic Negro flap, suggesting that Obama isn’t “black enough.” I thought that had fallen out of fashion as liberals had to admit that it divided blacks. With the exception of maybe two or three posters, the rest of you have done a terrific job of proving how juvenile most liberal ideologues are. Not one of you have made a reasoned argument about Limbaugh’s parody of Obama, much less any argument that uses actual facts. Not. One.
