One time she told me that when she was a toddler in a Rocky Mountain state, her GOP mother and other Repulbican ladies went to meet then VP Nixon at the local airport. Nixon apparently gravitated to S's attractive mother and kissed the babe (little S) in her arms. In other words, the first man, other than a relative to kiss S, was Nixon. I recall telling "No wonder you've been cursed with men! Maybe you'd better get kissed by someone on the other side like Castro or Gorbachev to break the spell."
