“Unlike many of his previous films (”Roger and Me,” “Bowling for Columbine,” “Fahrenheit 9-11″), “Sicko” works because in this one there are no confrontations.
This from the “network” with the most confrontations per minute than any other network.
So what do you suppose the life expectancy is of the employee at Faux News who let this story slip through the gauntlet? If this employee does meet an untimely end, expect it to occur in such a manner as to intimidate any other Faux staff who might be tempted to do likewise.
As someone who actually watches Fox let me let you in on a little secret. I realize this will go in one ear and out the other because you people are, well, zealots but here goes. There are two Fox’s. If you actually WATCH the network you’ll note that many of the anchors actively try to poo poo the narratives of Hannity, O’Reily et al.
The wokers are becoming ill from SILICOSIS, because they breathed in fine (50 micron sized particles) of SILICON dust.
NO KNOWN NON-EXPLOSIVE PROCESS EXISTS that can make more than a tiny bit of 50 micron sized particles of SILICON powder in the 15 seconds that it took for the WTC to distintegrate.
Since there was WAY MORE than a tiny bit of of 50 micron sized particles of SILICON powder as indicated by the pictures of that powder raining down and the large number of SILICOSIS cases, you have IRREFUTABLE PROOF that EXPLOSIVES were used to make the WTC towers distintegrate on 9-11!
This sounds like Captain Kirk would say to the evil alien computer to make it self destruct. Does not compute, does not compute, does not compute, compute, compute, com….. smoke and sparks.
#16 – Unfortunately we don’t have a basis for comparison. That’s the one and only time two 110 story concrete and steel skyscrapers collapsed. There are many oddities, strange coincidences, and lame official excuses surrounding 9/11, but the thing about concrete turning to dust is not the most productive line of inquiry.
What is very telling, is that Moore’s films have always been basically truthful, and honest assessment of the subject. But this time the Fox folks seem to agree with his opinion….now he’s a good filmaker.
They need to reexamine their positions on the last three of his films.
They are also true.
Smart people watch all 3 newschannels and then try and figure out the truth… the I won’t watch Fox, get all my news from one source people should not even be allowed to vote…
Get a grip, our government, not a party, is what is corrupt!!!!
I agree with the reviewer about losing some of the confrontation. Who besides me thought it was painful to watch Moore go after poor Charlton Heston? Yes, he probably deserved it, but just like we say about torture, we’re supposed to be the good guys. It just made Moore look mean.
But other than that, I’m a fan. As a physician, I’m really looking forward to the film.
Once again you people show how pathetic you are. FOX says something you should like and still you make snide remarks. Should we go by your original comments that “everything†they say is wrong?
ROTFL
Funny how many FOX comments and clips wind up on this website. For people who say you would never watch FOX you seem to have it covered 24 x 7.

Brilliant: Probably. Moore is good.
May 20th, 2007 at 1:59 pmUplifting: I can’t imagine it’s “uplifting.”
Friedman also liked Fahrenheit 9/11.

Dare we ask if this is a harbinger of the same for Fox? :)

May 20th, 2007 at 2:45 pmWanna know what’s REALLY SICKO?
…the Dems have seemingly worked out a “new” and “improved” trade policy…
…with the corporate-cozy criminal Bushite junta…
…the ffp media, pundits, NMA, Chambers of commerce and business criminals…
…are ALL hailing it as a bi-partisan breakthrough…
…which means the American workers and unions are about to get sh*t on some more…
…unless we flood Pelosi and Reid’s (as well as our own respective state’s Senators and Congresspeople’s) offices…
…with emails and calls telling them NO MORE WALMART friendly free-trade…
…the people need to stand up on this one, or accept your indentured servitude and slavery…
…the American middle/poor working class is being sold out!

I’ve read that many of the WTC emerbency responders…
…who have become gravely ill, and lost everything…
…due to their illnesses and resultant medical bills, and government TREACHERY…
…were very complimentary of Moore’s film…
…if their plight doesn’t inspire the American people action…
…and turn them even further against the criminal Bushite conned’selfserving TRAITORS…
…nothing can…

Nothing is good enough for you is it? You’re well on your way in becoming just like unbelievable—a pessimistic and cynical bitch.

May 21st, 2007 at 2:03 pmSince Foxnews is giving this movie good reviews……it means that it sucks!
we all know that Foxnews is a right wing propaganda machine. Ask my wife, she knows about right wing conspiracies.
Foxnews is a tool of the right, we all know that. This means that Michael Moore has become a tool of the right.
Boycott Foxnews, and boycott this movie.
anything foxnews claims to be good is in reality bad.
and anything they say bad is in reality good. I know, they always say I am bad, but in reality….I am gooooood…ask Monica.
