Shrub may certainly want ‘Fredo to stay. He cringes whenever he has to work with new people, and regards every disagreement as an attack on his manhood – which ordinarily suggests he himself doesn’t think much of it. ‘Fredo never disagrees, whereas a new lawyer might think that’s his or her duty at times.

I can’t imagine how Shrub would react to having a chief Govt lawyer who thinks his or main goal is the impartial administration of justice.
