They VOTED WITH THE REPUBLICANS and APPROVED the Supplemental that keeps the occupation, the troop and non-combatant Iraqi deaths and casualties, and the destruction of Iraq GOING until September 30, 2007!

The Senate was WORSE! Only 14 Senators voted against H.R. 2206. THREE of them were REPUBLICANS, and ONE was an Independent who votes with the Democrats! The Democratic Majority Leader JOINED the Republicans!

NOW, what would the Chair of the RNC do to the offending Representatives and Senators of the Republican Party?

The Iraq invasion and occupation gives aid and comfort to America’s enemies and has spawned world-wide hatred of our country. The consequences have been terrible, but likely, worse is to come.

Democratic treachery (re: Iraq Supplental Funding) will also have consequences, I hope. In Michigan, we need to start a netroots pledge drive to attract and fund our own Ned LaMont who will rid us of Levin in next year’s primary. For Stabenow, why not a recall? It worked in California.

It is time for WE THE PEOPLE to exercise our Constitutional rights to assemble in Washington, D.C. and in particular in front of and around the White House, Congressional buildings, the Supreme Court and the Pentagon.

We have the right to indefinitely occupy our government buildings, shut them down, and order our representatives in the government and the military to end the illegal occupation in Iraq.

If we do not march on D.C. soon, then WE THE PEOPLE will own the war too!

This holiday weekend looks like a very good time to start our peaceful assembly and occupation to show them that they are not the boss of us, we are the boss of them!

However, there’s a downside for him: if he flips, he immediately loses all his seniority and goes to being the junior GOP senator from CT.

And frankly, I don’t think he’d be willing to give up all the goodies just to become a Republican.

It seems you find at least some meaning in what lefties say and do if you are going to all the bother to read and post on TP and to propagate terminology picked especially for them.

There have been stories which indicate that Lieberman has threatened to turn Republican if Dems go too hard on the war. If Lieberman turned Republican, they would have the majority in the Senate, and all investigations would be shut down.

They know the public sentiment. They don’t need a poll to tell them. Yet they always back down when the pressure’s on. WHY?

Could it have something to do with ties to the oil industry? Could it have something to do with ties to capitalism?

Patty, the Dem congress is not much better than the Repub one. They are all controlled by corporate interests. Jeez.

Representatives in Congress, with more information about the conflict, disagree.

Unfortunately for their cause, all the brilliant conjoined insults have already been appropriated for use against them.
