The clash with the social system that ended in riots and car burnings, is a social and class one, not a religious one. The fact that there were young people from muslim descent is only secondary, because there were also from other origins.

And happened mainly when Sarkozy (far rightist, descendant of eastern noblesse), the actual President of France, and then Minister of the Interior decided to apply a heavy handed policy to the demonstrations, asking for jobs and integration.

But this isn’t exclusive from France. Some say that muslims in the USA don’t do this. Well, muslim countries in the USA isn’t the greater source of immigration. But seek for black or latino demonstrations and riots, and voilà! Your country had a good bunch of these.

It’s about poor people having a hard time in an unjust society, nothing else.

Stop your blather and post a link that shows that all those cars that are burned daily across France are the work of Muslims.

Yes, because the disaffected youth are all white Frenchman. The hordes of unemployed Muslims in the slums of France have nothing to do with burning cars. It’s all an illusion I made up. Now what were those riots in France in 2005 about again? Who were burning all those cars? Surely not disaffected young Muslims….

Of course, with some of the books you “read”, the pages somehow get stuck together after a while, so “reading” them anymore is out of the question, isn’t it?

If you actually read the Wikipedia article, instead of just reading the title (gee I wonder how the media is able to fool people by simply using misleading headlines…….), you’d see that cars burned during the riots numbered up in the thousands. The last day they considered to be during the riot, 163 cars were burned.

As I said, 80-100 cars burned is normal fare in France.
